Ch.99NPC Who Got NTR’d. (5)

What Could It Really Be?
The two dungeons I’ve been to so far collapsed due to utterly ridiculous circumstances, and that’s how the Heavenly Horse died too.
Yet despite our current battle far exceeding those situations in intensity, there’s no sign of this space collapsing.
I guess the previous dungeons were just poorly constructed? Where am I supposed to file a complaint about this?
– ⎯⎯⎯⎯!!!
Even throwing grenades during training in my past life wasn’t this loud.
As the giant Gor wraps herself in fire elemental attributes and swings her fist, the black mist creates something like hands to block it, and after stopping her attack, the mist immediately targets the gaps, aiming for Gor’s face and chest.
The mist’s sharp attacks deliberately target vital areas of the humanoid Gor, and then…
– KWANG!! PUEONG!!!
Gor uses her skill [Mimicry] to counter with the rock elemental’s gauntlet and her own body, neutralizing attacks at the exact same positions. The mist’s power is slightly stronger, but she’s definitely holding her defense.
[Slime Mime Golem: Level 151]
[HP: 98,600]
Wait, is she getting worn down bit by bit? After seeing Gor’s HP slightly reduced on the status window, I immediately climb up the dungeon wall.
“Take this!!”
-PUEOK!!!
Compared to that thing or Gor, I’m insect-sized, so I need to kick off the wall just to land a hit on its head. But because of that, it can’t defend against my attacks at all.
[Spir!@#!%Frag$%: Level 1,200]
[HP: 1#,9%%3]
Before it stands a golem larger than itself, and a human like an insect that vanishes like lightning after each attack.
Even though that black mist is a high-level vengeful spirit born from [Spirit King’s Fragment], it’s ultimately just a “monster” without intelligence.
The proof is that even though it knows my attacks are effective, it can’t take its eyes off Gor right in front of it.
‘But its HP is barely decreasing, more than I expected.’
In the game, this was just a simple event battle that transitioned to the next battle scene midway. I didn’t expect to breeze through it so easily now that it’s reality, but still, it’s too resilient.
[Master. The enlargement will wear off in 20 seconds!]
“Gor, any way to recover MP?”
[I’ve already used all the potions you gave me. There’s no way left.]
In this world, [Eight], MP and mana recovery potions do exist. It’s just that one bottle costs 100,000 kan, and supplies are limited.
When this was a game, honestly, MP recovery through equipment was enough so I didn’t really need them, but now that it’s reality, I can’t even buy them because they’re not available.
Damn. It’ll be quite difficult if Gor can’t tank anymore.
“Release it for now, let’s recover MP as we go.”
[Yes.]
The black mist once again ignores my attack and reaches for Gor, but this time Gor doesn’t use elemental power and simply releases her enlargement, avoiding all attacks.
-Tatat. KWANG!!!
Not missing the opening created by her shrinking, she launches herself forward, kicks the mist’s foot(?), and immediately retreats.
[I’m sorry. I should have leveled up more.]
“It’s fine. I planned for this. By the way, how long would it take to grow large again and fight for about 30 seconds?”
[At least 5 minutes are needed.]
5 minutes, huh? That’s going to be tough.
“Alright, I’ll buy time. You gather MP.”
[What? Are you going alone?]
Of course I’m going alone.
Fighting until now, I realized that Gor had to block all attacks with elemental properties because she was too big. It’s actually easier to deal with this mist when you’re smaller.
[Please be careful. If you really get hurt…]
“Is Ira worried?”
[Both me and the two women are all worried.]
That hits hard. I wave to Gor casually before advancing toward the flowing mist.
“Whew. Too many women worrying about me means I can’t afford to get hurt. Let’s take it easy, shall we?”
Whether it understands my words or not, the black mist seems to finally notice that Gor has completely disappeared from in front of it, and starts pouring shower-like attacks toward me.
*
I already knew, but Master’s strength is truly beyond imagination.
‘If this monster body didn’t have the skill [Mimicry] and toughness, I might not have obtained this body to serve Master.’
The black mist that started bombarding Jack with attacks after I retreated. And Jack, who lightly dances between those bombardments while landing proper hits—it makes me wonder if a human should even be allowed to be that strong.
‘Mountain Guardian skill. I wonder if anyone else in this world possesses it?’
Jack says his stats are far below average for his level, truly garbage.
But that Mountain Guardian skill, how much does it boost all his stats? Despite clearly having lower stats than me, he shows performance I couldn’t possibly match.
Even now, he moves freely through the mist’s bombardment, punching and kicking. Then retreating again to evade attacks, kicking off the wall to deliver a kick straight to the creature’s chest.
Despite a size difference comparable to a cyclops fighting a child, Master shows no fear, no concern.
‘No wonder women keep flocking to him.’
Even now, “that woman” who must be hiding somewhere is surely watching the brave and magnificent Master.
Perhaps she’s already completely fallen for that appearance…
“Lady Gor.”
[……]
What did Master say before? Speak of the tiger and it appears? But I didn’t speak? I can’t even make sounds.
Besides, she’s a white tiger beastkin, not actually a tiger, so why did she appear? Master clearly told her to stay hidden until he called.
I tilt my head in response to Miho, who suddenly appeared behind me.
“Is it okay to let Jack fight alone? And when will I be able to help?”
[Well. Master said he would need your strength to finish it off.]
I scratch words on the wall with my finger without using my slime body since I need to gather mana, and Miho nods after reading them.
“So, should I keep hiding?”
[Yes. Stay hidden in a position where you can strike its ‘back’ at any time. And don’t miss Master’s signal.]
“I understand.”
After bowing to me with excessive politeness, she disappears back into some part of the dungeon.
Before, I could still track her, but now that she’s regained her senses and is deliberately hiding, even I can’t properly locate her.
I truly understand why Master considers that woman dangerous.
‘…But I wonder if she calls him Jack for the same reason she’s aiming for my position… No, that can’t be it?’
If that’s the case, hmm. While I can still win now, should I discipline her once more?
I gather mana while keeping my eyes on Jack, turning over various thoughts.
Perhaps that woman is after my ‘maid’ position.
She said she wanted to be Lady Ira’s attendant, but the possibility suddenly occurs to me that she might try to serve Master as well while serving Lady Ira.
As I spin these anxieties and future delusions alone…
-KWANG!! KURUNG, PUEOK!!!
“Now! Gor!!!”
[Yes.]
What did he do? For a moment I thought Jack’s figure disappeared, then one of the pillars supporting the dungeon snapped and fell on the creature’s head.
Could he become even stronger and faster?
Truly, it’s impossible to ask a female not to fall for such a strong male.
“Tear out this bastard’s chest!!!”
[Yes!]
And the moment he calls and commands me, I once again recognize how much I like him.
‘Well. Even if she’s after my position, I just need to become an irreplaceable existence to Master.’
The anxious thoughts and hostility toward Miho that I was spinning until just now completely dissipated at the sound of Jack’s voice directing me to do something only I could do.
*
I’ve completely understood it. Or have I? Anyway, I’m giving up on reducing its HP.
[Spir!@#!%Frag$%: Level 1,200]
[HP: 1#,8(*&^3]
The characters in the status window are definitely changing bit by bit.
And if those are HP numbers changing, then the broken thousands digit at the front hasn’t changed at all. Let alone the tens of thousands digit!!
We’ve fought for almost 10 minutes, and I’ve been beating it one-sidedly! And only the hundreds digit at the end has been reduced!!
‘This is insane. I’m getting out of here.’
“Gor!!! Tear out this bastard’s chest!!!”
[Yes, yes!]
Gor’s response with an exclamation mark gives the impression of a powerful shout even though it’s just a status window.
If she had a voice, I feel like she would have sounded extremely happy.
‘I don’t know what she’s so happy about, but she’s probably thinking about some reward.’
I’m actually scared of what she might ask for. But still.
-KUUNG!!!
Once again enlarged, Gor grabs the head(?) and chest(??) of the mist, which has lowered its head(?) after being hit by the pillar, and forcibly starts to tear it off.
-JJAJJAK!!!
A rather violent tearing sound echoes through the dungeon, too intense to be just mist being torn apart, and the creature pours mist at Gor as if trying to push her hands away.
However, unlike before, Gor can’t block with elemental attacks and is taking hits head-on while carrying out my order.
Probably because she’s using all her MP just for the enlargement.
“Gor!! Your HP…!!”
[It’s fine. More importantly, how far should I tear?]
[Slime Mime Golem: Level 151]
[HP: 78,600]
It’s not fine at all! Face, chest, abdomen—without blocking anything, Gor’s HP has been reduced by more than 20,000 in less than 10 seconds while carrying out my order.
Damn it!!
“Keep going!! Until something like a human heart comes out…!!”
[It’s out, Master!!]
Before I can finish speaking, Gor pushes her hand into the creature’s chest(?) and displays a status window, with a red glowing stone caught between her fingers.
[Ugh!! Master, I’m sorry!! This, this won’t come out at all!!]
“No!! Keep holding it!!!”
Gor opens the creature’s chest with one hand and holds the [Spirit King’s Fragment] with the other. In the game, the protagonist originally pulls it out while purifying the mist with some holy power.
Our Gor has accomplished that event through physical force, everyone!!
“Don’t hit our Gor! You son of a bitch!!!”
I wasn’t just providing commentary. I climbed up Gor’s body and struck the mist connected to the heart with all my might, pulling the heart forward ever so slightly.
And then.
[KAAAAA⎯⎯!!!]
“Kuk?!!”
[What is this?!!]
Suddenly, something like a monster’s howl echoes from within the mist, startling both me and Gor.
Damn it, what now?! There was no such scene in the game!!
[Die! Die?! Save me?! No?!? No!! Save me!!! Mom! My hole! Don’t pounce!! Dad! Teacher!! Professor!! No! No!! Spirit!! Talent!! No mana!! Save die?! I’ll be with spirits!! No!! Don’t mate!! Hate humans!! Save me mom!! Hate humans!! Don’t touch!! Sorry!! I’m sorry!! No!!! Kill humans!! Mana!! Spirit affinity!! Talent!! Mine!! No!! Kill all humans?!! Trash!! Talentless batteries!! Mom!! Dad!!! Hate intercourse!!!]
“This is truly insane!!”
[Master, what is this?!]
Probably the spirits that were forcibly connected to that communion bastard, and the resentment of children and people who were exploited to forcibly hold those spirits. Something like that seems to have been stored in the [Spirit King’s Fragment].
After all that deep dark fantasy? Are we changing genres to true dark fantasy now?!
“I’m sorry, but!! You’re already dead!!”
Shit. To think the day would come when I’d have to deal with actual souls—what is my life?
The voice of a child looking for parents, the voice of a girl expressing agony, the voice of a boy crying out in pain. And a mechanical-like voice that’s not human, somehow hating and resenting humanity itself.
Clearly the voices of spirits and children who were abused, exploited, and killed by that bastard. Even my fucked-up brain understood that in seconds. Yet all I can say is.
“We’ve avenged you!! And freed all the remaining spirits!! So now be liberated from this garbage world and think about being happy in the afterlife!!”
If there is one, if there really is an afterlife. Please be happy now.
Escape completely from this fucked-up deep dark fantasy world and never get involved with these bastards again. This is all I can say, all I can do.
“We’ll be happy for your share—me, Ira, and all of us!!! Now rest in peace!!! Namu Amitabul!!!”
-KWADUK!! KWANG!! PUK!! KWADUDUK!!!
I grab the heart that Gor is holding with her fingers, and beat the surrounding mist with all my might. Finally, the heart tears away from the mist. And then.
[KWAAK?!! My heart?! Aaah!!! Give it baaack!?!!]
“This is truly insane.”
The mist gathers where the heart was torn out, and the old man’s face I saw earlier is drawn in pitch black, screaming and chasing after me.
Right, in the game, this was the only scene.
“Fuck off, you piece of shit. And what are you waiting for? Kill it.”
The black mist grabs Gor’s hand and chases after me as I retreat with the heart. I raise my middle finger and speak as calmly as possible.
“Now!!!”
And the tiger with mixed white and black spots delivers a flash-like finishing blow to the creature, just like “in the game.”
