The responses gave me a rather unsettling feeling, but they all seemed to agree that once leveled up, her performance would be satisfactory.

    ‘As long as the performance is good, I don’t mind if the appearance is a bit plain.’

    Though I felt somewhat puzzled, I was thrilled to finally have an SSS-rank superhuman. I decided to focus on developing Partia and began making detailed plans.

    My question seemed to trigger some kind of meme-like behavior toward their “gallery master.” Shortly after I posted my question, the gallery was flooded with strange fetish posts and other random content about Partia…

    I found myself involuntarily tilting my head at these incomprehensible posts and comments. Actually, it wasn’t so much head-tilting as the headache one gets when confronted with bizarre fetishes.

    Not wanting to damage my precious mental health with unnecessary thoughts, I erased those grotesque posts from my mind and focused on proceeding with my plans to develop the newly recruited Partia.

    ==========

    But just one day after having those thoughts, I came to understand all too clearly why the gallery users had so strongly recommended that I develop Partia…

    <<“It’s been a while, Icarus.”>>

    “Oh, you’ve come, body.”

    <<“…I’m not sure what that means, but I’m glad you’re welcoming me.”>>

    “What brings you to contact me via telepathy from there to here?”

    It was quite strange that Oxianor, who usually required us to visit her directly for quests, was contacting us herself today. Perhaps this was due to our accumulated “trust.”

    I happily accepted Oxianor’s telepathy, and perhaps my emotions were transmitted through it, because Oxianor began explaining her reason for contact with a slightly more friendly tone than before.

    <<“Well, there’s a rather significant issue at hand.”>>

    “A significant issue?”

    <<“Yes. Actually, we’ve discovered that a special forces unit dispatched by the Xenovia Empire has infiltrated a ‘plant’ newly created by our faction… and we lack the troops to stop them right now.”>>

    “Hmm.”

    As soon as I heard those words, a new quest message appeared before my eyes.

    —————————————-

    <Advanced Quest>

    <Monster Plant Infiltration Defense>

    <Details: The monster faction has discovered an abandoned biological weapons research facility of the Earth Federation and is attempting to turn it into a nest to create a new plant.>

    <The problem is that the plant was discovered by the Xenovia Empire’s special forces before defensive troops could arrive.>

    <Although the various biological facilities created within the plant and newly born monster creatures are putting up a defense against the Xenovia special forces…>

    <Regular monsters cannot hold out long against a special forces unit composed entirely of at least B-rank superhumans.>

    <As quickly as possible, proper superhumans must be deployed to stop them.>

    <Objective: Deploy at least one S-rank or higher superhuman and at least one destroyer-class or higher starship to annihilate or subdue the enemy before they destroy the plant’s core.>

    —————————————-

    Seeing the word “Advanced” prominently displayed at the top of the quest, I felt pleased that I was finally getting a proper high-grade quest.

    “So, Oxianor, what do you want?”

    <<“Exactly what I told you. I hope you can subdue or annihilate the Xenovia Empire’s special forces before they destroy the plant core.”>>

    “Alright, I’ll take that request.”

    Having accepted the high-grade quest, I called for Partia, who would be at the training facility in the base.

    Shortly after, Partia appeared wearing the same simple nun’s habit as yesterday. Strangely, despite having just been at the training facility, she didn’t have a single drop of sweat and maintained an impassive expression.

    —————————————-

    <Partia>

    <Level 11>

    <Type: Anti-personnel close range>

    <Traits: Fanaticism, Close Combat>

    <Stats>

    Health: SS+

    Attack Power: SS+

    Physical Defense: SSS-

    Magic Power: A-

    Magic Defense: B+

    Mobility: S+

    —————————————-

    ‘No change in stats… but she’s gained an additional trait.’

    First, I quickly checked her level to ensure this precious SSS-rank talent wouldn’t be thrown into battle at level 1 and die a miserable death. Seeing no major issues, I nodded and calmly explained the current situation to Partia.

    Partia listened to my explanation and immediately nodded in response.

    “What would you have me do, Savior?”

    “Well… that plant I just mentioned? I need you to go there and deal with the Xenovia Empire’s special forces.”

    “Understood. If it is your wish, this girl will devote herself completely to crushing the enemy.”

    Her speech, reminiscent of a medieval knight, made me feel reassured. I decided to deploy her for the quest.

    However, unlike with Ignis and the others, I didn’t yet feel complete “trust and confidence” since I didn’t know the exact extent of Partia’s abilities. So I kept the video system on to monitor her situation in real-time.

    And what appeared on the screen was…

    -Squish squish

    -Splat!

    -“Hmm, the ground here seems quite unstable.”

    -Slither… slither.

    -“And it seems the monsters’ tentacles are naturally becoming obstacles.”

    ‘Oh.’

    Through a background reminiscent of some sci-fi horror game where aliens get torn apart and killed, the nun proceeded on her way, completely unfazed by the writhing tentacles trying to ensnare her.

    Somehow reminiscent of a monk embarking on a holy pilgrimage or ascetic journey, I found myself quite intrigued as I continued watching the video.

    Above all else, I needed to learn what fighting style she employed so I would know how to utilize Partia in future battles against other users or factions.

    But my innocent thoughts were interrupted about 5 minutes into the video…

    After passing through a corridor eerily filled with blood vessels and chunks of flesh…

    -“Enemy spotted!”

    -“How did they get here already… but the enemy is alone! Prepare to engage!”

    -“My goodness.”

    “Oh.”

    In the maze-like interior structure of the plant, she encountered 5 members of the Xenovia special forces who seemed to have lost their way.

    -“To be able to guide these lambs to the embrace of the great God according to the Savior’s will… ah, truly a noble task.”

    -Crack! Crunch! Craaack!

    Such horrific sounds came from the modestly-chested Partia, and along with those sounds, her loose nun’s habit suddenly began to swell…

    Then the body of Partia, who had been less than 160cm tall, suddenly transformed into a giant of about 3 meters.

    And her entire body was filled with muscles, with a demonic figure taking shape on her back, as if she had an excessive secretion of testosterone.

    Seeing this transformation, I finally understood all too clearly why those damn gallery users had told me to develop her first.
