Ch.97NPC Who Got NTR’d. (3)
by fnovelpia
The effect of the NTR remark combined with provocation was incredible!
[-Academy Vice Principal Job: Level 398]
[HP: 5,600]
‘The level seems similar to the game.’
Looking at the old man spewing pitch-black smoke and expressing his rage, I pull up the corners of my mouth.
Since this is the map corresponding to [Land of Knowledge Neity] ep.3, naturally the enemy’s level and difficulty have increased.
At a point where this geezer has a similar level to Aigram’s deus ex machina, the Demon Mayor, and the Seven Deadly Sins raid boss, the Demon of Wrath, the combat power inflation has already exploded beyond measure. However, this is only about levels.
‘How could a story boss be the same as a raid boss?’
It’s obvious. Most people who play online games know this.
Raid bosses are designed for “multiple” players, while story bosses are one-time monsters created for “single” players. And this guy is a story boss.
In other words, he’s bound to be weaker compared to his level and presentation.
“I’ll make you die painfully. How dare you, with such a vulgar golem!!”
“Vulgar? That’s harsh. What’s wrong with how my baby looks?”
“Come forth! My servants!! Take my enemy’s head and tear apart that lewd golem’s limbs!!!”
“Wait, hold on. How is Gor lewd in any way…?”
[How did you know?!]
“……”
Is she crazy?
As I pretend not to see the status window that Gor displayed in genuine surprise, gritting my teeth and looking away. Responding to his voice, the smoke begins to gather, and out pop rock elementals that look like pockmarked bread, followed by burning fire elementals, and wind elementals that look refreshingly cool.
[Rock Elemental (Status??): Level 350]
[HP: 13,000]
[Intermediate Fire Elemental (Status??): Level 420]
[HP: 8,800]
[Intermediate Wind Elemental (Status??): Level 550]
[HP: 11,000]
[Master, isn’t that old man quite strong?]
“Of course he’s strong. Despite appearances, he’s like the axis of evil in this city.”
[If you get hurt, Ira will worry.]
“Then you need to work hard so I don’t get hurt.”
[Yes. Leave it to me.]
“Hmph, communicating with a golem? No. That can’t be. Such a vulgar-looking golem couldn’t possibly have that level of intelligence. As I thought, you’re that kind of human!!”
“Huh? That kind? What nonsense are you spouting? Gor, this bastard keeps insulting you, and I’m getting increasingly annoyed.”
[Shall I?]
“Yes. It’s an order. Gor, clear out all those elementals.”
[Yes.]
Looking at levels alone, Gor would be overwhelmingly outmatched. However, as I mentioned before, elementals can have their levels inflated up to 3 times the player’s level.
But this guy is handling elementals that are barely at his level or slightly lower or higher, nowhere near triple his level.
If that’s because he’s underestimating me, all the better, but I know that’s not the case.
So I gave Gor an order to activate my skill.
[Slime Golem Tamer Effect: When giving direct orders to a golem, grants additional stats proportional to your own stats to the golem’s strength and agility.]
[Additional stats are being granted to the Slime Golem.]
“Go, Gor, body slam!”
-BANG!!! BOOM!!
“Wh-What?!!”
-CRACK!!
Following my command, Gor, with boosted stats, charges at incredible speed toward the rock elemental standing at the front, and grabs what appears to be its abdomen(?) firmly with both hands.
-CRUNCH!! BOOM!!!!
Then he lifts it up and throws it against the wall, causing the old man’s eyes to widen to a degree I wouldn’t have thought possible at his age.
“Ha! Isn’t our Gor awesome?”
“Th-This is absurd!! How can a mere golem?!!”
[Did you really think elementals could match me, a Slime Golem?]
Honestly, without the stat boost, would they have been a match? I don’t want to dampen Gor’s high spirits so I don’t say it, but I couldn’t help being quite surprised that this attack only took away 1/3 of the enemy’s HP.
If we underestimate him just because he’s a story boss, either Gor or I might end up with something broken.
“Gor, don’t underestimate him. Finish this properly.”
“Grrr!! Fire Elemental, Wind Elemental! Help the Rock Elemental and destroy his golem!!!”
The elementals, following their master’s orders, rush toward Gor who’s following my instructions. What is this? Weren’t we having a Pokémon battle? This is just dirty.
“You bastard, resorting to a cowardly 3-on-1.”
“Ha! After I crush your golem, you’re next!!”
Was it because of what I said? Despite his elemental being damaged, the old man talks as if he’s already won, which looks quite ugly.
The Fire Elemental rushing toward Gor spews flames from what appears to be its mouth, while the Wind Elemental behind it fans the flames to cut off the escape route.
Oh, an elemental combo. As expected of a boss, he’s using elemental tamer skills.
[…What is this? This is supposed to be an Intermediate Fire Elemental?]
However, Gor, trapped in the flames, displays a status window as if dumbfounded by the fire trying to burn his body.
Hmm. As expected, it can’t penetrate Gor’s defense.
“Gor, show them the difference in class. Yes, devour that elemental.”
[Ah. Yes.]
Since we’ve already gotten this far, and can’t back out now, might as well use it.
I pointed at the Rock Elemental that Gor had slammed into the wall, and Gor, ignoring the fierce flames, walked over and started pounding the rock golem with his fists.
-THUD!! THUD!! THUD!!!
“Wh-What? What on earth are you trying to do?!! Rock Elemental!! Fight him!! Don’t just let that vulgar golem defeat you!!!”
-CRACK!!
[You keep calling me vulgar, but while I might be lewd, I’m not vulgar. The only man who’s touched my body so far is my master, you know? Ah, it’s broken into nice bite-sized pieces.]
After shattering the Rock Elemental with a few punches, Gor grabs what looks like its head and pushes it into his mouth.
Huh? That’s quite big. Is he just going to eat it like th—
-CRUNCH! CRUNCH! CRUNCH!!
—at?
“Wh-What is this?! It’s eating the elemental?!!!”
[Hmm, it doesn’t taste good. But it’s better than that mint chocolate.]
The Rock Elemental, receiving quite a harsh review, was devoured by Gor. And then, massive fists made of rock appeared on both sides of Gor’s arms. Wow, I really loved that kind of thing when I was a kid.
[It’s only good for two attacks, but it seems quite useful.]
“Hey, old man. Our golem says he enjoyed eating your Rock Elemental.”
“Mad, madness!! How can this be?!!”
-BANG!!!
Following my NTR remark, the old man’s pupils dilate as if he’s seen something unbelievable. Geez, his eyeballs might pop out at this rate. And Gor breaks through the continuing flames and rushes toward the nearby Fire Elemental.
-THUD!!!
He brought down the massive rock fists attached to both hands.
[Intermediate Fire Elemental (Status??): Level 420]
[HP: 120]
“Wow, nearly dead in one hit?”
“Th-This can’t be!!!”
The Fire Elemental’s body crumples like scrap metal in a compactor, scattering sparks around as it gradually fades away, unable to maintain its form. Isn’t that a skill?
[…The power is more incredible than I thought. I only put about a third of my magical power into that strike.]
Gor, who stamped out the fading Fire Elemental like extinguishing a cigarette, looks at me as if seeking answers, surprised by his own attack.
Why? I’m surprised too. Don’t look at me like that.
“Im-Impossible!! An elemental can’t be defeated by a golem!!!”
“Ta-da. It just happened.”
[There’s no reason it couldn’t.]
The old man, startled, began summoning other lower elementals, but they were inferior versions of the ones just summoned. It seems this tamer battle is my overwhelming victory.
I am the Pokémon Master!
“Gor, devour all the other lower elementals.”
[Yes.]
“Im-Impossible!! Not only does a golem eat elementals, but it can communicate too?!!”
The old man directs his gaze, filled with anger and curiosity, as Gor nods and responds to my words.
Hmm, is it really that impossible? I don’t know.
I’ve never seen content like this in the game, and I’ve never delved deep enough to research it. I was certain I’d win due to the stat difference, and with the elementals being so weak, I was confident there was no way I could lose.
Well, if I push this far, the next event should trigger.
“Im-Impossible. Elementals, the elementals I’ve collected all my life!!”
The old man’s face contorts in despair as he watches Gor completely ignore the attacks from the Intermediate Wind Elemental and indiscriminately devour the Fire Elemental, Rock Elemental, and even the Lower Wind Elemental.
Wow. This feels quite satisfying? Is this why people do NTR? It’s scary to think I might be on the receiving end, but it’s kind of fun when I’m doing it.
“What did you collect? These are elementals contracted by stealing magic from children with runny noses, right? I’ll recover all the efforts of the children you’ve exploited until now.”
“St-Stop it!! You perverted trash!!”
“No, damn it. First you call the golem vulgar, then lewd. Now you’re calling me a pervert? What do you even know?”
Could he be reading the eyes in my mind? That can’t be, right?
If he were, he should have run away rather than fight me. I really can’t understand this. I approach him slowly, not hiding my irritation.
I’ve let him be until now because I need the next story event to trigger to get all the benefits, but I don’t want to hear any more of that strange nonsense. I should punch him once to shut him up and knock out all his teeth…
“Ha!! You think I don’t know?!! Creating a golem in the form of a beautiful woman means you, you bastard!! You have a sexual perversion for golems!!!”
“…What?”
What did I just hear?
My brain can’t process what my ears heard, causing my body to freeze. Looking into his eyes, I sense strong anger and madness. What is this? Is he insane?
“It’s obvious! I, who am ‘the same kind of human’ as you, can tell! You made it in the form of a beautiful woman because you lust after that golem!!!”
“No, I don’t?!”
“Ha! You try to hide it even though I’ve found you out!! How disgusting! That’s also why you took my elemental cores and fed them to your golem, right?!!”
“What the hell are you talking about?!!”
Damn. I feel my skin crawl as I watch the old man spout increasingly incomprehensible nonsense. Something… something about this bastard’s rant isn’t part of the event story.
This is… I should stop him before I hear any more of this…!!
-SLAP!!
“You lowly being without talent as an elemental master! How dare you dream of sexual intercourse with elementals using my elemental cores and elementals!! Not a chance!! I’ve already taken the virginity of my elementals!!”
“What the hell?! What are you saying!! You senile bastard!!!”
Too late to stop him, I swung my fist at his face while my ears were filled with his terrible, madness-filled nonsense.
