Ch.94The Crossroads Mountain Range. Crucis (2)

    Raisha’s breasts are large.

How large? Large enough that when she sits in a chair, the tips of her breasts form a straight line with her knees.

    Is that all that’s large?

    No.

    Her hips are large too.

How large? So large that she can’t find pants even in the men’s section, and she can only wear skirts with openings because otherwise her hips get stuck and she can’t put them on.

Her pelvic bones are incredibly wide, and if you imagine her on her knees with her head raised looking forward, her buttocks would be higher than her head.

This was even after surgery due to side effects, so there’s no need to mention how “voluptuous” her figure was before the operation.

Most men probably couldn’t lift Raisha with ease, and they’d likely stagger if she threw herself into their arms.

    But I can do it!

Because I’ve moved those damn water jugs!

I carried 30 bundles of twenty-four 5-liter water bottles on my back, with four more bundles tied with thick rope around my body, climbing 103 floors without an elevator, only to hear “Oh, I bought a water purifier, so I’ll return these” from that bitch Amy Derickson living at Ocean Green Line Apartments, Building 108, Unit 1037, 215-4 Minchul Road, Verden District, Henrietta City, Parchival. I swear I will kill her.

    “Sigh…”

    “Master Viktor… what’s wrong?”

“Nothing… just feeling a bit tired.”

Thinking about the past made my anger rise, but seeing her made the fire in my heart extinguish in an instant.

What man could possibly frown when faced with this magnificent view that only I, her owner, could enjoy?

    “Don’t be tired, my love.”

Saying that, Raisha threw herself into my arms.

With only a thin piece of cloth between us, her fat and protein pressed against me, and soon her lips merged with mine.

We held each other in bed until lunchtime, and when the grandfather clock chimed to signal noon, Raisha got up from the bed with a smile.

    “Let’s go downstairs now.”

    “Yes. We should.”

The inn’s kitchen was spacious, but still a limited space.

If we didn’t hurry down, we might end up having dinner only by dinnertime.

    *

    “Well, look at that?”

When we went downstairs, contrary to my expectations, the kitchen was completely empty.

However, the tables were full, and I could now see why.

    “Everyone brought preserved food…”

Hardtack, jerky, calorie bars, and handfuls of nuts…

That was the meal on the tables of many adventurers, and nobody found it strange.

Of course, some parties were eating freshly prepared dishes like us, and several people were actually using the kitchen.

But they were in the minority when looking at the overall ratio.

    “That’s unfortunate.”

“What’s unfortunate? I’m the unfortunate one.”

Lucia was in the kitchen, pouting as she fried eggs in a pan.

    “What’s so unfortunate?”

“We drew lots for dishwashing duty, and I lost…”

“Hahaha. It’s always the one who suggests it that gets caught.”

I mocked her foolish choice, then helped Raisha take out ingredients before finding a suitable place to sit.

Simon and Casia had already opened a bottle of beer each and were enjoying day drinking, while people around them were eyeing them with envious looks.

    “They must have a spatial storage… damn, I’m jealous…”

“What good is knowing aura if you don’t know how to make money…”

“Is it really right to be eating just peanuts and walnuts in such a luxurious lodging?”

“Being poor is the crime… These damn dwarves must have been born with merchant spirit, not craftsmanship. How can they overcharge so much?”

I quietly sat down and took out a bottle of lager from my spatial storage.

Just as cold as when I put it in, I opened the bottle with a crisp sound that echoed around, immediately drawing everyone’s attention.

    Gulp! Gulp!

    “Ahh!”

I put the beer bottle down on the table with a thud and gazed at Raisha’s back as she cooked in the kitchen.

Judging by the delicious smell reaching here, she was definitely preparing something tasty.

“Viktor? Come here and pour some beer for me.”

    “Beer?”

    Clink!

“Is it okay if it’s what I’ve been drinking?”

    “That’s fine.”

I got up and approached Raisha, watching Lucia grumbling as she placed fried eggs and toast on a plate.

Then, I poured beer into the frying pan Raisha was shaking, and the beer quickly heated up, releasing its alcohol.

“It’ll be ready soon, so go wait at the table, my love.”

    Smooch.

She left a kiss mark on my neck, and I returned to my seat, sipping the remaining beer.

    *

“So how many yetis are there?”

“The dwarves say there seem to be over 100.”

    “100? That’s a lot…”

“Apparently an avalanche drove them all out, young and old. I bet less than a quarter of them are actually combat-capable.”

Oh ho! Now that’s good news.

Yetis are living creatures that follow the principles of birth, aging, sickness, and death. Even if they don’t systematically divide into combatants and non-combatants like humans, there must be clear differences between weak and strong individuals.

If we play our cards right, our Iron Walker could earn 300 to 400 silver coins.

Of course, it’s best not to overdo it, but since no one knows how things will turn out in this world, it’s better to keep our minds at ease.

Just as I was thinking this, Raisha brought me a dish with steaming food on a platter, and then continued going back and forth between the kitchen and table, filling it with plates.

It was truly a feast, and the attention that was already focused on us due to the alcohol was now at the brink of causing a riot due to the lavish table and Raisha’s voluptuous figure.

    “Damn… the world is unfair.”

“Why don’t I have a woman like that?”

“Is the woman important? The food is what matters. I’m seriously thinking about breaking into my emergency funds and going to the market.”

“You idiot. It’s still lunchtime. Are we going to chew on peanuts again for dinner?”

    “Sob…”

No money, no food… they have nothing…

    But I have everything!

I smiled, then seated Raisha beside me as she brought the last plate.

She then took out alcohol and started pouring it into my glass, and I began to enjoy the feast she had prepared.

    Chili loaded with meat.

    Melted cheese on butter-toasted bread.

Salad dressed with ketchup and mayonnaise.

Baked beans made with beans, potatoes, and tomatoes.

    Numerous sunny-side-up fried eggs.

These were literally precious menu items that you’d have to pay for, and I savored each one while drinking the alcohol Raisha poured.

The alcohol was cool, the chili was spicy, the bread was crispy, the butter was rich, the cheese was fragrant, the baked beans were warm, and the salad was crunchy.

    “Everything is delicious.”

    “Hehehe…”

Raisha leaned against me, and I made sure to keep her mouth full by placing various toppings on bread for her.

Then there was a clattering sound from the other side, and Lucia and Casia approached us with solemn faces, stabbing the salad with their forks and bringing it to their mouths.

“We’re one party, so we should share even a single bean.”

    “…Sit down and eat.”

    “Yes!”

So four guests sat at the table, but because there was so much food to begin with, it didn’t diminish quickly.

These elves were eating as if they hadn’t had lunch, despite clearly having packed food earlier, and feeling guilty, they started making excuses with stingy eyes.

“It’s really amazing. They’re clearly the same fried eggs, but how can they taste so different?”

“Sister, you need to learn the difference between fried eggs and scrambled eggs first…”

Lucia sighed and took a spoonful of chili to her mouth. After that, there was no more talk.

    “Where’s Simon?”

“Over there drinking with the mages.”

When I glanced toward Simon, true to her words, he was enjoying daytime drinking with other mages, clinking bottles together.

“Who do you think is older, those mages gathered there or you all?”

    “Probably about the same.”

After saying that, Lucia thanked us for the meal and left to do the dishes, and Casia also stopped eating, greeted us, and went up to her room.

We were full too, so we stopped eating, and instead decided to gather the leftover food and give it as snacks to the old folks drinking alcohol in the distance.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about, but eat something while you drink. Putting alcohol in an empty stomach ruins your body.”

“Oh my! Our party leader treats this old man so well!”

“You’ve had quite a lot. At this rate, you’ll pass out by evening and wake up at dawn complaining about hunger while munching on bread alone.”

After saying that to Simon and throwing him a few more bottles of alcohol, I went up to the room with Raisha.

    Now that we’ve had lunch…

    I should sleep until dinner.
