Ch.90Double Dragon of Emoshita (3)

“UWAAAAAGH!!! Fine!! Fine!! Let’s exchange!! We can just exchange them!!”

    Taka immediately exploded with rage.

‘Well… this bastard isn’t doing this out of loyalty.’

    That was obvious.

However, as a leader of an organization, one had to cultivate an image of caring for subordinates. Subordinates? Screw them. Talking like that would lower their loyalty.

“Then we’ll go to the abandoned factory. And we’ll do the prisoner exchange right there.”

    That’s what I said.

At that moment, Taiga stepped forward on the screen.

    “Sis…! Step back!!”

The other bikers immediately tried to remove the phone from view. Taka was targeting Taiga, and her exposure would bring great danger.

“No. As a leader, I have something to say.”

    Taiga cut them off firmly.

“Hey, Taka. You’ve gotten pretty soft. Stop acting like a punk and let’s just fight it out. The loser leaves Emoshita City. How about it?”

    Taiga said with a smile.

    “………”

Taka remained silent after hearing Taiga’s bold proposal.

    “Uhahahahaha!!”

Soon after, Taka burst into laughter.

“Aah… as expected. You’re the best woman. Perfect to be my mate.”

    Taka said with a chuckle.

“Calling me your mate as you please. You crazy bastard.”

    Taiga frowned.

“Fine. Let’s fight right after the prisoner exchange. I’m not who I used to be. I’ve gotten much stronger.”

    Taka said.

“After I take you by force, I’ll send all your comrades to the afterlife. So you’ll only have eyes for me.”

Taka gave Taiga a sinister look.

I thought he was a really disgusting bastard, but I held back my anger. Getting angry here wouldn’t change anything.

And so, we agreed to the prisoner exchange.

In front of the abandoned factory, there was a crowd of bikers that looked to be over 50 people by rough estimate. In front of them stood the battered members of the Breakers.

    Thud-!

Taka, standing in the center, immediately patted the back of a Breakers member.

    They stepped forward.

“There. You’re free now. Try not to get caught again, okay?”

I released the Dead Angels members we had captured.

    “Hiiiek…!!”

Perhaps due to the fear from being beaten so much, they screamed even when I just patted their shoulders.

    “……..”

Amid some tension, the prisoners were exchanged peacefully.

    “Now!! Let’s… fight?”

Just before Taka could give the order with a smile, I took a deep breath.

Right after, I released a wave of killing intent from my entire body.

    “……..!!!”

About 3 seconds of silence passed.

    Thud-!! Flop-!!

The Dead Angels members at the front line collectively rolled their eyes back and collapsed.

    “Y-you guys! What’s happening?!!”

Taka looked at his fallen members in confusion.

It was a technique that released overwhelming killing intent to shock the enemy. The principle was to make them lose their minds with the fear of death.

Of course, it wouldn’t work on strong opponents who had some resistance to killing intent. But these guys were different. Most of them were just school delinquent level at best.

Taka was flustered as more than half of his members were swept away. The guys in the back also stared at us with wide eyes.

    ‘Still… not enough.’

I hadn’t been able to gather enough killing intent to take them all down. Well, as I got stronger, the technique would develop too.

“Now the numbers are about even.”

I stepped forward, drawing my sword.

And then I immediately threw off my top.

    Flap-!!

Honestly, I had worn clothes that were easy to take off in anticipation of this development. A button-up shirt would be hard to remove in one go. Fumbling with it would ruin the coolness factor.

“Pfuhehehehe!!! This guy… took off his top again…!”

Taiga seemed to burst with laughter at that. She shook with laughter.

“Come at me if you want to dieeeee!!!!!!!”

    I roared loudly.

“You bastard… who do you think you are? Huh?!!”

    Taka shouted loudly.

“Me? I’m Taiga’s boyfriend. It’s only natural to help when your girlfriend is in trouble.”

    I looked straight at Taka.

    “Hnnnnng…..”

Taiga’s lustful gaze pierced me, but I deliberately ignored it.

“Seriously… you’re so cool. This is why I can’t even complain when you have other women. It’s unfair.”

    Eri clicked her tongue.

    “This development… I’m so jealous!!!!!”

Umi wailed with her fist in her mouth, overcome with inferiority. She was simply envious of the development where a boyfriend heroically saves her like a prince.

By the way, her mouth is surprisingly big to fit her fist in there. I already knew from our night activities, but seeing it now was impressive.

Also, our Umi has really nailed the concept of acting eccentric. It was legal because she was cute… but turning a pure gyaru girl into this… I felt somewhat sorry.

    “B-boyfriend?!!”

Taka seemed shocked by that point. This guy liked Taiga. I knew that when I said those lines.

“The woman you loved… she was delicious, you know?”

I’ve dreamed of saying this line my whole life.

    “You bastard!!!!!”

That seemed to hit Taka’s trigger button. Yeah, go ahead and get angry, then listen to some sad ballads to soothe your depression.

    “Everyone!!! Kill them!!!!!!!!!”

Taka immediately shouted to his subordinates.

    “Uwooooooooh!!!!”

All the bikers charged at us with tremendous momentum.

I had the injured biker members stay in the rear, and had the girlfriends wait in the back too, just in case.

Sasix and I stood to block the army.

    “Hey. Are you ready?”

I spoke while standing back-to-back with Sasix.

    “Hmph. Of course.”

Sasix responded immediately, raising his sword.

“When I’m with you, I feel like we can’t possibly lose.”

Sasix said as if he’d been waiting for this line. Indeed, he was a soul friend who shared my otaku sensibilities.

    “That’s my line!!!”

I immediately charged toward the biker crowd.

However, with a bladed weapon in hand, it would be troublesome if I accidentally killed someone.

    Click-!

So, I immediately sheathed my sword and locked it. Surprisingly, this sword had a locking mechanism. Being a real sword, it needed one. It would be problematic if the sword suddenly popped out of its sheath while carrying it.

A locked sword was just a solid, heavy club. It would hurt like hell if you got hit, but it wouldn’t kill you.

    “Kieeeeeeeeee!!!!!!”

    I swung the sword widely.

    Thwack-!!!

The horizontal strike cut through the crowd of bikers in front.

    “Urghk?!!”

    “Gaaaah?!!!”

Most of the bikers immediately rolled on the ground.

    “Hyaah!! Hyah!!!! Hyalalalalah!!!!”

    Thwack-!! Thud-!!! Whack-!!

Break the skull of anyone in sight. With that mindset, I swung my sword in all directions.

    “This guy… he’s strong…!!”

    “Guhurk!!!! Can’t… hold…!!”

    “Taka brooooooo!!!”

I cleared a path toward Taka while joyfully beating up the bikers.

    ‘But… Sasix…!’

Sasix was also quite good at fighting, having protagonist buffs. There were episodes in the game where he got into trouble with thugs. There, the player would subdue three thugs in one go.

But Sasix was basically strong because he could summon his Psychorobo. In broad daylight, he couldn’t call it. His combat power would be halved.

    “Ngh…!”

Sasix swung his sword diligently, but it was too much to handle the majority of the biker crowd.

    Thud-! Whack-!

    No way…..

    “You’re weak!!!!!”

I couldn’t help but criticize. Wait, am I just too strong? Even considering that, he’s too weak! He was already panting after just a few sword swings.

However, Sasix was still the protagonist.

Being the protagonist meant he wouldn’t die until the end of the game. That was his fate.

Therefore, his protagonist buffs were in full effect.

“Uwaaah?!! Why is there a banana peel here?!!!”

A biker who was about to hit the back of Sasix’s head with a bat immediately slipped and fell flat.

    Whoosh-!!

    Thwack-!!

“Why are you hitting me, you jerk!!”

    “I missed!!”

Even incidents where their attacks hit their own allies.

    “Suddenly, my stomach…!!”

A biker complaining of stomach pain appeared too.

The bikers around Sasix were in complete disarray.

The protagonist buff itself was protecting Sasix.

“Hmph… everything according to plan. The thought patterns of monkeys are easy to read.”

As the situation suddenly improved, Sasix immediately spouted a pretentious line.

Wait… that wasn’t planning, it was coincidence. I almost criticized him for that.

This was something I could use.

    “Sasix!!! Run straight for Taka!!!”

I decided to use the protagonist buff to my advantage.

    “Got it!!”

    Sasix immediately dashed forward.

Sasix, with his plot armor, was a walking disaster from the enemies’ perspective.

    Slip-!! Thud-!!

    Whack-!!!

The bikers near Sasix were immediately thrown into chaos. They suddenly fell or hit each other—it was absolute mayhem. The trigger was one thing: trying to attack Sasix. Those who tried to attack Sasix couldn’t escape the dirty protagonist buff.

He was truly a disaster… like Liu Bei, the plague parasite who, just by having people under his command, took down Gong Sun Zan, Yuan Shao, Yuan Shu, Lu Bu, Liu Biao, and Liu Zhang—that’s what his protagonist buff was like.

Thanks to Sasix, the enemy formation was disrupted.

    “Bro!!! We’ll help too!!”

The Sobutaku group, having finished emergency treatment, rushed in.

    “Hyah!!! Die!!!!”

Umi had already scored a kill with her stone staff. She was surprisingly good at fighting. No, her soul itself was extremely aggressive. Umi was gleefully smashing the back of the heads of anyone who looked vulnerable.

    “Stay back!!!!”

Eri was also swinging her bamboo sword, defending her position.

At that moment, a red flash crossed the battlefield.

It was Taiga. She landed in the middle of the enemy formation, her red hair fluttering.

    “Hyaaaah!!!”

    Thwack-!!

Taiga swung her baseball bat with almost monstrous ferocity. The bikers were swept away by it.

“Sh-she’s here!! The form from Sis’s prime!!”

Sobutaku immediately went into commentary mode while fighting.

    “The Red Demon herself…!!”

Other bikers also shouted, caught up in the atmosphere.

Taiga… she really was fighting well. Seeing it from the side made it much more apparent.

    Our girlfriend was incredibly strong.
