    Ch.8383. Council of Evil Gods

Anyway, after all the chaotic commotion of equipment reformation ended.

“Is this… equipment bestowed by Him?”

“Yes, Holy Maiden Lisa Raeldotir. It’s of the highest quality, so please cherish it with gratitude to Him.”

    “Y-yes! I will cherish it!”

When I delivered the equipment through my wolf avatar—which had somehow been transformed through divine power into a magnificent white dress and robe—to Lisa.

    “Eheheheh…”

Seeing Lisa giggling mindlessly, as if receiving something made her that happy, I… suddenly wondered.

Though I’d assigned artificial maids to her so she wouldn’t live in a garbage pit like before, what exactly was Lisa doing in her daily life?

Since I avoided shifting my gaze to the underground Blood Sanctuary to respect her privacy…

“Lisa Raeldotir. I have a question.”

“A question? Yes, you may ask anything.”

“What do you do during your personal time? He mentioned that if you have any inconveniences, you should tell me.”

I was simply asking in case she needed anything, but… somehow, Lisa’s reaction seemed strange?

    “Well, umm…”

Unable to speak up and seemingly trying to make some excuse, Lisa hesitated. After pausing and taking a deep breath as if to calm herself…

“Actually, I… I’ve recently developed a hobby of making clothes… and trying them on the maids.”

Perhaps embarrassed about directly mentioning her slightly maniacal hobby, she spoke in such a tiny voice that she seemed about to shrink away.

    “I see. I’m glad you’re doing well.”

    “Y-yesss…”

Relieved that she was managing well on her own, I was about to relay a few more minor details when—

    ‘…Huh?’

Suddenly, I felt a distinctly foreign sensation—a visitor had arrived at my divine realm.

This was an event I had never experienced before, not even in the game… but that wasn’t the important part.

    ‘…What the hell.’

A visitor coming to my divine realm, which was essentially like a steel ball thrown into a desert?

“Visitor” was just a euphemism—if they had enough combat power, this was no different from a threat that they could invade anytime.

The power I sensed was quite weak and appeared to be a single entity… but letting my guard down would be the height of stupidity.

Recognizing this was undoubtedly an urgent situation, I quickly returned half of the consciousness allocated to my wolf avatar back to my divine realm.

    ‘Let’s go greet… this self-proclaimed visitor.’

Ready to intercept immediately regardless of who they were, I moved to confirm their presence directly.

    ※ ※ ※

However, the reality was quite different from what I’d tensely anticipated.

    《…So, who sent you?》

[Y-yes! The, the great God of Conspiracy sent me!]

The entity I personally went to greet at the entrance of my divine realm was a blue sphere with a human face and a pair of wings attached.

This bizarre-looking creature was one I knew well.

    ‘What? It was this thing?’

An Outsider—one of the minions of the Evil God of Conspiracy, comparable to my Hounds of Vengeance.

Specifically, this was an “Evil Blue Bird,” which didn’t look like a bird at all. As a lower-ranking minion of the Evil God of Conspiracy, it specialized in special abilities like all minions of that lineage.

The Evil Blue Bird had two main special abilities:

First, information gathering that increased exponentially in effectiveness when multiple birds gathered.

Second, teleportation to a targeted destination.

Although it came with the penalty of only being able to transport itself—not even its equipment—this teleportation ability was still at a fraudulently powerful level.

Unlike typical instantaneous movement abilities, it didn’t require knowing the exact location or coordinates, nor previous visits to the place. As long as there was a clear objective in mind, it could teleport anywhere.

Aside from being limited to three uses per day, it had virtually no other demerits.

Anyway, as I stared blankly at it after learning the situation, the Evil Blue Bird, having come as a messenger from the Evil God of Conspiracy, trembled violently upon seeing me appear in person.

    Pa, parurururururu…

But watching this ugly human-faced lump of flesh trembling only made it look more unpleasant rather than pitiful.

《Get to the point. I am… quite displeased right now.》

    [Yes, yes!]

As I growled with intimidating pressure, not bothering to show any consideration, this disgusting pseudo-bird finally began flapping its mouth.

[Th-the… Evil Gods are, meeting, having a meeting, and they asked if the great and renowned God of Vengeance would be interested in participating…]

After saying this, it trembled violently, perhaps fearing I might kill it… but that wasn’t the case.

Rather, upon hearing those words, I thought: the expected has finally come.

The meeting this creature mentioned was the Evil Gods’ Council—a gathering centered around the Seven Great Evil Gods, essentially a high position in the evil pantheon.

Judging by the current timeline, this was probably the first such council.

I was already planning to participate anyway, so I was about to express my willingness when…

    《Who’s participating in this meeting?》

Suddenly recalling the bigger picture I’d been planning, I questioned the messenger as part of that plan.

The messenger, perhaps having heard about the doppelganger I’d captured, trembled while still managing to flap its mouth.

[U-um, the God of Conspiracy is hosting, and the main p-participants are Plague, Fear, Despair, and M-Misfortune!]

    《…And the rest?》

[The r-remaining gods are just scraps, and some haven’t even been born yet…]

The moment I heard that, while inwardly cheering, I mimicked the image of a terrifying evil god and spoke.

    《Very well, I shall participate.》

[Th-thank you! God, God of Vengeance!]

Upon hearing my answer, the messenger seemed either moved or simply relieved to have survived, smiling with tears as it departed.

And watching it leave, I had only one thought:

‘Violence… not ripe enough to participate yet, huh?’

Among those who were members of the Seven Great Evil Gods in the original work, the one governing the divine attribute of “Violence” was not yet fully developed—in other words, the prime candidate I had planned to usurp was still underdeveloped.

The most convenient way to succeed on the Evil God route was to kill one of the existing Seven Great Evil Gods, absorb their entire power base, and follow the original event path.

I was planning to follow this orthodox route, and now, excellent information had just fallen into my lap.

‘Since I’m in the upper-middle ranks among intermediate gods…’

I guessed that these “main participants” were evil gods who had at least reached the intermediate level, and the one who “hadn’t been born yet” would be Sodomia Gomorio Blutas, the Evil God of Pleasure.

Then the current Evil God of Violence would be at most at the highest tier of the lower ranks… calculating this, it seemed I could take down the Evil God of Violence without much difficulty.

But unlike when I subjugated the Wolf God, I couldn’t use such crude methods as finding their divine realm and directly invading it, or beating all their believers to death.

During the Wolf God subjugation, I was able to find the divine realm using the faint divinity remaining in Bjorn’s body…

But as I mentioned earlier, finding a specific god’s divine realm in the divine world is as difficult as finding a steel ball dropped in a desert.

Moreover, the Wolf God’s believers were mostly concentrated in a single city, and their numbers were quite small, making it possible to annihilate them.

Objectively speaking, the most distinctive characteristic of evil god cults is their tenacious survival ability.

Because the nature of their divine attributes makes it difficult for them to become major religions, evil god cults give up on expansion and organize into cell structures that make complete eradication impossible.

It’s similar to criminal organizations in modern cities—you can suppress them to reduce their scale or push them underground, but they stubbornly cling to the dark corners of society and continue to survive.

However, despite the difficulties in killing such evil gods, I was actually quite optimistic about the situation.

‘Rather, for a named god of that level, there should be plenty of known information…’

The reason was that the Evil God of Violence, being one of the Seven Great Evil Gods, had a lot of publicly available information, including methods to kill evil gods.
