[Dungeon Large Box]

    – Grade: S-(Legendary)

    – A valuable storage box found in a dungeon

    – Made of rare and precious ore, it seems sturdy and capable of storing large quantities of items.

    – Crafted in 1,000 X 50 size.

    – When installed in a base, ‘Auto-Sort’ is activated

    “A legendary box? For real?”

The probability of getting a legendary grade box in Farming World is 0.001%.

It’s a chance that might occur once in 100,000 attempts, and if that box is S-grade, it’s practically impossible to obtain through effort alone.

In fact, even among the veteran players who frequent the Farming World community, not many users possessed this legendary grade box.

Of course, since it’s all about luck, occasionally there were cases of newbies coming in asking “Is this good?” and flexing their finds, but even those instances were rare.

It’s essentially a lottery ticket with extremely low odds.

Even heroic grade boxes only have a 0.1% drop rate, appearing once in 1,000 attempts. Players who grind dungeons hoping to collect heroic boxes often quit before filling their storage with them.

Moreover, legendary boxes of B-grade or higher come with a special option like this “Auto-Sort” feature.

This option isn’t available on C-grade or lower boxes.

Even if you get a legendary box, if it’s C-grade, you’re just getting an extremely spacious container.

That’s why there was always a distinction between users who grinded low-level dungeons to eventually get a legendary box and those who ran B-grade or higher dungeons to obtain one.

The reason for pushing through tougher B-grade or higher dungeons is clear—the “Auto-Sort” option is absolutely broken in Farming World.

This single option is considered the primary criterion for determining whether a map has reached “graduation level” in Farming World.

“Graduation level” literally means reaching the stage where, like Suhyeon’s Farming World 1 that I raised, you’ve invested years mapping everything out, unlocked all tech trees, and decorated the map to a point where there’s nothing left to do.

And this “Auto-Sort” box is essential for that.

The function of this option is very simple and convenient.

When you place items in the legendary box within your base, it automatically sorts and transfers those items to appropriate boxes within the “base” area.

This means you don’t need to go up to the second floor to store various basic resources separately—just put them in this box, and it automatically sorts them into the resource storage on the second floor.

Of course, you need to classify what types of resources go into which boxes, but once that’s done, it automatically sorts identical resources and even similar categories together, eliminating the need to organize boxes manually.

With just this one option, the convenience factor in Farming World is essentially maxed out.

Naturally, since this is locked behind extremely high difficulty and luck, there are mods that add similar options, but even those don’t provide the same “click and done” feeling. They only slightly reduce farming difficulty, which maintains the feature’s rarity.

“Getting Auto-Sort at the beginning means this is a blessed map.”

It’s almost embarrassing how much I’ve gained from the start to call this a blessed map or whatever.

I put the box in my belt without opening it to check its contents.

Then I immediately began butchering the Corrupted Ogre.

The amount of byproducts that poured out was on a completely different scale compared to the baby ogre.

I picked up three items as well.

“Fortunately, the forest remains the same.”

The Corrupted Forest remained corrupted even after the chaotic mist disappeared.

Just to be sure, I went nearby to chop some trees, and they still dropped “corrupted wood.”

For now, I should keep coming back to harvest everything I can, since I don’t know how long it will stay this way.

As much as I’d like to explore and harvest everything right now, it was already quite late, making it difficult.

    [2:14 AM]

It was already past 2 AM.

Since I left early in the morning, I’d been out for almost 10+ hours.

It felt like it might have been less, but I had no concept of time in the fog.

Plus, the forest was vast, so I spent quite a bit of time wandering around.

Still, I couldn’t just return empty-handed, so I finished butchering the baby ogre corpses I had passed by since the middle of my journey and then headed home.

    ————————-

    “Master!”

    “Oppa!”

When I returned home, I heard the familiar worried cries.

“Aren’t you tired of this? Just go to sleep. How long are you going to live anxiously? If I die, just assume I’m dead and live comfortably.”

“Hmm… maybe I should? I guess that makes sense?”

“I was worried about you, Master.”

Well, this time I really didn’t return until dawn, so they might have had genuine concerns.

But as I said, they can’t just keep watching for me and worrying whether I’m dead if I don’t return.

Waiting without knowing is the most draining thing for a person.

Besides, if they’re like this now, it’ll be unbearable later.

This is just a Level 0 biome, so I can return at night, but what about Level 1 or Level 2?

As the biomes expand, considering this map’s size, I might not be able to sleep at home and might need to camp for days. Are they going to spend that time worrying if I’m dead?

I don’t mind them worrying, but it becomes a problem when it disrupts daily life.

“Do what you need to do even when I’m not around. That’s how you survive.”

    I’m not completely irresponsible.

I understand that I’m carrying the lives of Kim Sujeong and Lulu on my shoulders.

Lulu might be able to enter some kind of slumber until the next master appears, but if I die, Sujeong would be stuck living in this dimensional rift, neither as owner nor proper resident, until she dies of old age, starvation, or gets eaten by monsters.

So they shouldn’t wait for me or worry about me.

    Even if I die.

They need to do what needs to be done so they can at least survive.

    That was the rule.

The rule for surviving in this world.

“No, I’m actually getting more numb to it now. I’m also getting sleepy. *yawn* From now on, if you don’t come back for a few days without saying anything, I’ll just assume you’re dead. Just tell me roughly when you expect to return before you leave. Then I can set a deadline for declaring you dead.”

    “Alright.”

Kim Sujeong seemed to be adapting well to life in the dimensional rift.

Despite her words, her expression showed relief at seeing me alive as she went upstairs. Lulu approached, flying around me while asking:

    “Did you hunt the ogre?”

    “Are you hurt anywhere?”

“What happened to the chaotic energy?”

“I’ll tell you tomorrow, you little thing. I’ll explain everything.”

I wasn’t in a bad mood at all.

Having someone worry about me when I return.

In Farming World, NPCs would routinely ask similar questions when I returned from exploration, but there was a difference between the programmed words of NPCs and Lulu’s sincere concern.

Above all, I was genuinely tired.

I had spent over ten hours outside, staying focused, moving around, and fighting. The chaotic energy had numbed my senses to the extreme, draining my mental energy significantly.

I quickly washed with warm water and threw myself onto the bed.

Seeing all these system messages made me drowsy.

As I closed my eyes to sleep, Lulu opened the door slightly, peeking in with a small pillow in her arms.

    “Master…”

    “Hm?”

“Can I sleep in your room tonight…?”

Why did her cautious question remind me of a timid puppy?

Was I such an intimidating figure to Lulu?

Well, I did treat her somewhat roughly from the beginning, thinking of her as a Farming World helper NPC.

That was the inevitable fate of a Farming World user.

I had seen fairies like Lulu thousands or tens of thousands of times before, and my habitual behavior came naturally, almost like inertia.

Plus, my personality was that of a socially awkward shut-in.

Still, I thought I had been relatively kind and attentive in my own way.

But apparently not from Lulu’s perspective.

That didn’t mean I was going to change and be kinder to Lulu.

    That’s just who I am.

I’ll continue taking care of her in my own way, like giving her snacks.

She might be cautious, but she doesn’t avoid me.

“I’ll kick you out if you snore.”

Since there was no special dog house or cushion for Lulu in my room, I patted the spot next to my mattress.

Lulu settled in with a bright expression and fell asleep.
