Ch.788This Feels Disgusting.
by fnovelpia
“What doesn’t kill me makes me stronger,” they say.
That maxim I so often quoted while beating Demian was a truth that applied equally to myself.
It’s been a year and a half since I fell into this world. During that time, I’ve faced countless monsters of astonishing power.
Rurik, Isabella, the Arm of Evil Gods, Orhan, Ragnar.
None of them could kill me—instead, they lost their lives to my hands, and every desperate battle helped me grow. Into the realm of heroes and monsters, far beyond human limitations.
The Karma I’ve accumulated, the evidence of my fierce battles, was displayed here.
In the form of devastation.

“Graaaaaah…!”
A spectral Deathknight swung a rusted, frost-covered longsword with an eerie groan.
“How crude.”
A blue arc bit into the rusted blade, shattering it, followed by my right foot erasing the creature’s entire upper body.
Metal-mixed bone fragments exploded like shotgun pellets, shredding the flesh masses scattered around.
“Kieeeeek!”
I raised my left arm toward a creature that looked like a mix of spider, dragonfly, and eagle.
The left hand of Murder Karma, concentrated in the form of Frosting, stretched out like tentacles to grab the creature’s body and drag it to the ground.
With a thunderous crash, the monster was embedded into the earth and burst apart. Its crushed flesh bloomed like cherry blossoms.
“Kenaz!”
I swung my right arm toward the sky, awakening the rune’s seal.
A formation of imps spewing paralytic fluid burned in intense flames, turning to ash that scattered in the wind.
“Waaaaaah!”
As soon as I heard a child’s cry, my left chest burned as if branded with hot iron.
My Mana Resistance and Stigmata of Astraea neutralized the cursed mother’s mental attack, and the vacuum blade I shot back in retaliation split open its belly.
Dark green fluid burst forth like amniotic fluid from the split abdomen, and half-rotten fetuses poured out, rolling across the ground.
“Kyaaaaaaak!”
The cursed mother frantically crouched down, trying to gather the fetuses and stuff them back into her belly.
I grabbed a sturdier-looking monster and threw it at her. The two monsters exploded together, mixing their flesh in the pool of blood.
“Grwooooor!”
A roar like thunder rumbled above my head. Looking up, I saw a shadow cast over the sky. It was the front paw of a grave eater dropping vertically to crush me.
*CRASH!*
I lightly threw myself sideways to avoid its paw, which struck the ground and caused a small earthquake.
“Too slow!”
I kicked off the shaking ground, leaped toward it, and raised my knee to strike its lower jaw.
*CRASH!*
The grave eater’s skull bent backward, scattering broken bone fragments. Durandal’s blade, soaked in monster blood, swung toward the exposed neck bone.
The gleaming blade cut through the neck bone—as thick as three massive tree trunks—splitting it in two.
The headless grave eater collapsed with a deflating groan, crushing smaller monsters beneath it.
Like ripe fruits falling and bursting on the ground, wet crushing sounds echoed one after another.
*WOOOONG!*
A storm of black chains, spears, and blades rushed toward me as I floated in the air.
Were there magic-type monsters mixed in? Well, with this many, of course there would be.
‘Intercept them!’
[I told you not to speak in commands!]
Though grumbling with displeasure, Hersella extended tentacles of Murder Karma, swinging them like blades.
The incoming magic collided with the dark red blades, canceling each other out and showering red and black fragments like rain.
Meanwhile, I detected the position of the magic-casting monster through my Mana Resistance and threw Durandal at it, blasting away its head and upper body as it was about to mutter a new spell.
*SPLAT!*
The headless lower body twitched before falling backward with a thud.
“Kraaak!”
“Gyooooo!”
There was no time to retrieve Durandal.
Seeing me empty-handed, monsters of all shapes and sizes charged at me with cries mixing joy and killing intent.
“Uooooooo!”
A Baltyr warrior resembling a barbarian covered in animal hide swung an axe, while a plant-type monster resembling a rafflesia spread its petals wide, extending dozens of strangely glistening tentacles like whips.
“Kroaaaaaak!”
A hybrid monster—a mix of crocodile, toad, and lion with about ten human noses attached—spewed black flames.
“Kiiiiiit!”
From the sky, a monster with a deep-sea fish face combined with flying squirrel and leech features spread its arms wide as if asking for a hug, displaying five pairs of reproductive organs.
Really, every single one looks like absolute shit.
At this point, they’re not monsters—they’re abominations.
My face wrinkled with disgust and revulsion. I created Murder Karma blades on both arms and further drew upon the power of my achievements, explosively accelerating my muscles and blood flow.
“Kyaaaaaaah!”
What followed was literally a storm of blood vortices.
Hundreds of dark red arcs traced through the air like a child’s brush strokes, cutting everything they touched.
The Baltyr warrior’s axe was chopped to pieces along with his hands, the plant monster’s tentacles were shredded like in a blender, spraying sticky fluid everywhere.
The monster diving from above was diced like minced meat, raining down flesh and entrails, while the hybrid monster’s flames were scattered by the storm of slashes.
It was a barrage of ultra-high-speed strikes that no one in the current era could match.
“Hah… this is fucking disgusting.”
However, despite displaying such godlike power, I could only grind my teeth and curse with increased displeasure.
And for good reason.
Rotting intestines hung around my shoulders like a scarf, finely minced flesh had entered my mouth, and I was covered in the whitish fluid sprayed by the plant-type monster. How could I not curse in such a state?
Moreover, the smell made my head spin and my body heat up—clearly, like the fluids these creatures typically spray, it contained some kind of aphrodisiac.
…Perhaps I should have dodged rather than blocking with my sword.
“Die, all of you!”
I spat out the flesh that had entered my mouth, threw away the intestines hanging around my neck like garbage, and poured runic flames onto the plant-type monster whose tentacles had all been shredded and was now glowing.
“Chireeeeeeek!”
The rafflesia monster writhed as it became a ball of fire. Across from it, the furry crocodile-toad crouched, twitching its twenty nostrils and opening its maw wide again.
What, trying to shoot fire? Go ahead.
If you can.
I roughly wiped away the fluid covering my face, and as monsters rushed in to exploit the opening, I charged toward it, melting them with Karma flames expelled from my back and legs.
“Gweeeek?!”
The crocodile-toad, about to spew flames, was shocked to see me charging in an instant and shot out its tongue instead of fire.
A tongue covered with glistening tumorous pus.
“You think that will work?!”
I grabbed the tongue that shot toward my face like a spike, yanked it hard, and thrust my right foot toward the monster.
Like a comet falling diagonally, wrapped in flames.
*SPLAT!*
The monster’s body, struck by my foot, swelled up and then burst.
A blood vortex of dark mana flowed like a wave.
I used the black blood it spewed to wash away the whitish fluid that had pooled on my head, face, and chest.
The blood mixed with dark mana was disgusting too… but better than aphrodisiac-laced fluid, right?
The joy I felt earlier had long since vanished.
It was too unpleasant to feel joy—the monsters’ appearances were too revolting, the stench of rotting flesh and entrails stung my nose, and my body beginning to go into heat was utterly disgusting.
“Right… fun isn’t in my fate. This is normal.”
I spat out blackened saliva at my feet and bared my fangs with a distorted face, blue light burning in my eyes.
“You don’t want to die pleasantly, is that it?”
On the black ice sheet pooled with dark mana-mixed blood, on ground embedded with body fragments like gravel.
“Fine, then.”
I pulled Durandal from where it was stuck beside me and glared at the endless horde of monsters.
“I’ll make you regret crawling out of that hole.”
My killing intent erupted like wildfire, becoming a calamity that swept through.
—-
The battle that followed was less a fight between people and more like a monster’s massacre.
Even though I was the one doing it, that’s the only way to describe it.
*CRUNCH!*
Tentacles of Murder Karma extending from my left arm’s cross-section became a storm of blades tearing through everything, and with each step I took, blood-red stakes shot up, impaling dozens of monsters and lifting them.
*SPLAT!*
Before the monsters skewered on the Murder Karma stakes could free themselves, the stakes penetrating their bodies exploded like grenades.
Dark red fireworks painted the sky, raining down blood.
*SPLAT!*
My swinging blade cut through flesh, bone, steel, and scales alike, while monsters struck by my fists and kicks vanished without leaving corpses.
*WHOOSH!*
Fierce Karma flames burned the outskirts of the cavern, melting monsters trying to crawl out of the black hole before they could emerge, and concentrated dark red beams from my fingertips erased all enemies in a straight line.
“Krr, krrk…!”
“Grooo…!”
Such violence that even monsters who knew only slaughter and reproduction cowered in fear.
When I realized that the Murder Karma power I had been pouring out without restraint was beginning to run low, I paused to catch my breath.
By then, there were fewer than ten monsters left in the cavern.
