The master has left the house again.

Lulu looked around the empty cabin.

    It had grown larger.

The small cabin that Lulu first saw when she opened her eyes had now become a two-story house and was quite spacious.

    “Hmm hmm~”

    She found herself humming.

    She felt lonely.

    Lonely, but it was nice.

Having this spacious house all to herself.

    “Lu lu lu~”

It was wonderful that she could use the second-floor room where Master and Miss Sujeong used to stay however she wanted.

Although she usually slept in the room with Miss Sujeong, having a room to herself was, how should she put it? It gave her a happy feeling like having her own personal space.

Of course, she didn’t use Miss Sujeong’s bed just because she wasn’t there.

Lulu really liked the soft bed that Master had bought especially for her.

Plus, the fluffy cushion was placed inside a small house-shaped space, so Lulu had her own little house that she had decorated quite cozily.

    A lonely, spacious house.

When she entered her own little house inside it, it felt incredibly snug and warm.

Above all, no matter how big the house outside was, the thought that it wasn’t dangerous allowed her to sleep soundly with peace of mind.

The cabin was invincible, at least within this fractured dimension.

    It was divine power.

Unless a being capable of breaking divine power came to destroy the cabin, absolutely no monster in this dimension could attack it.

So even without Master, Lulu might be lonely, but she wasn’t afraid.

    “Lulu~”

Lulu’s daily routine wasn’t much different from the last time Master was away.

She would wake up in the morning, wash her face, and briefly check through the window if everything was alright in the garden and if no monsters had come. Then she would start her morning routine.

She would fill a wooden watering can and water the now-expanded field.

At least now she didn’t have to go back and forth inside the cabin because after clearing the sewer last time, they had connected a water channel to the farm with the help of the goblings, so water flowed right next to the field and she could just scoop it up and sprinkle it.

Even that wasn’t an easy task for someone of Lulu’s small stature.

    “Hehe. All done.”

Besides that, Lulu didn’t have much else to do.

She would check the growing period for each seed, harvest mature crops, and plant new seeds in their place.

Most crops had a growing period of 2-5 days, which meant she wouldn’t have to work hard until Master returned, except for her morning routine.

And around morning, as she diligently watered the plants, the goblings would arrive.

    “Keruk. Keruk.”

    “Lulu. Lulu. We’re here. Keruk.”

“Ah! Bringies, you’re here? Could you help clean up this area today?”

She would finish watering with the goblings and then assign them odd jobs.

Master had said to give the goblings work every day even if there wasn’t much to do.

Since slaves would only think about rebellion if they had no work, Lulu faithfully followed Master’s words.

The goblings, now loyal slaves, diligently cut weeds, trees, and stones according to Lulu’s orders.

The afternoon was the goblings’ time.

Lulu would take out some snacks from the house and eat them while supervising the goblings, sunbathing on the roof.

Around 5 o’clock, as the sun was about to set.

The goblings would gather in front of the cabin.

“Good job, Bringies. This is today’s food from Master.”

    “Keruk! Meat! Keruk!”

    “Master gives good meat. Keruruk.”

    “Thank you. Keke.”

    “Eat well.”

And Lulu quite liked this feeling.

    Having slaves.

At first, she felt a bit uncomfortable, but the slaves were nice and listened to her well, so how should she put it?

She developed a desire to reward them and make them listen to her even better.

So she gave them a little something.

“And this is a secret gift from me. You all worked hard today.”

    “Keruruk!”

    “Snacks! Snacks!”

“Thank you, Lulu. Keruk. Snacks are so delicious. Keruk.”

    “Salty, salty.”

    It wasn’t much.

Just one packet from a box containing four packets.

Each packet had about six crackers in it.

Since Lulu was saving her snacks, this was quite a big decision for her.

The goblings thanked Lulu and showed their gratitude and submission.

    Indeed.

It wasn’t that Lulu’s taste was strange.

The monsters living here… well, it’s a bit odd to call them that, but at least the goblings liked snacks.

She couldn’t give them snacks every day, but she thought she should give them occasionally to encourage them to work harder.

After the goblings left, it was dinner time.

Lulu would have her dinner too.

    What should she eat?

This was the time that made Lulu happiest despite feeling sad and lonely with Master gone.

When Master wasn’t around, all the food in the cabin was freely available for Lulu to eat.

She didn’t have to eat the dinner Master would choose, and she could eat whatever she wanted every day without anyone saying anything.

Of course, since Miss Sujeong had arrived, she missed the delicious home-cooked meals that Miss Sujeong prepared, but for Lulu, ramen was still the best.

    “Slurp slurp.”

Now she even slurped the noodles with her small mouth.

She had become so accustomed to the spiciness that she could eat continuously with her tongue out, panting, and had even progressed to the level of burying her nose in the cup noodles to drink the broth.

    “Kiyaaaa!”

She could feel the hot spiciness traveling down her esophagus.

    That’s the taste!

    After dinner.

Lulu would wash up briefly and go up to the second floor to enter her house.

She would struggle to set up Miss Sujeong’s tablet PC, turn it on as instructed, and watch what they called dramas.

    “So interesting.”

Earth might be a lower dimension, but this kind of culture seemed to be something even Lulu could envy.

    Watching Earth dramas before bed.

This could be considered Lulu’s current best hobby and joy.

Miss Sujeong had asked if she could understand it, but of course she could.

It seemed like a question about understanding Earth’s language, but from the beginning, both Master and Miss Sujeong were conversing with Lulu in Earth’s language.

She thought it might be divine providence, and Lulu was very grateful for that.

    “Hehehe.”

Watching dramas while eating leftover snacks from lunch in Lulu’s house.

Around midnight, she would yawn, pause the video, and go to sleep.

I wish I could live like this forever…

    Lulu dreams a happy dream.

And so, on the fifth day.

    Once again, an incident occurred.

    “Keruk. Keruruk!”

“What is it, Bringies? What’s wrong?”

    Early in the morning.

It wasn’t even time for the goblings to arrive, but several goblings came running in a hurry.

    “Keruk! Big trouble. Keruk!”

    “What? What?”

“Black Monkeys. Keruk. They attacked us demanding mushrooms!”

    “Oh no.”

    Ah, that’s right.

    She had forgotten.

The goblings were growing mushrooms in their village, and by offering them to the Black Monkeys, they had been avoiding invasion despite living right next to them.

But Master had harvested all those mushrooms.

Naturally, when the mushrooms didn’t come for this tribute, the Black Monkeys came to attack the goblings.

The goblings had come here to evacuate.

    “Where are the other Bringies?”

“They’re coming. Keruk. Gobling 11, 12, and 13 are dead. Kerururuk.”

    “Oh no!”

The goblings were calling themselves by the names Master had given them.

    A total of 13 goblings.

Three of them had died, and Lulu quickly ushered the arriving goblings into the cabin for safety.

    “Come in here!”

About 20 minutes after entering the cabin with the goblings.

    “Keruk. Keruk. Monkeys! Monkeys!”

    “Black monkeys are here. Keruk.”

The Black Monkeys stormed the cabin.

    “Ugh. They’re so black. Big.”

The Black Monkeys were very large.

    About the size of Master.

They could almost pass for humans.

If they weren’t covered in black fur all over their bodies, they might have been mistaken for humans.

    Slightly hunched backs.

    Limber walking gait.

Eight Black Monkeys looked around the cabin, trampling the fields.

    “Ugh, this isn’t good…”

    The fields were being destroyed.

The Black Monkeys would dig up and eat any crops they liked, even if they weren’t fully grown, and just rummage through and leave the rest.

    It was a familiar scene.

The Big Rats had done the same thing.

Master had been very angry then…

    “Keruk. This is bad.”

    “Master will be angry.”

    “But it’s scary. Keruk.”

There was nothing they could do.

Black Monkeys were perfect superior versions of the goblings.

In height, build, ability, and strength, even three goblings together couldn’t stand against one Black Monkey.

The only fortunate thing was that they had harvested quite a lot of crops today and the incident happened before planting new seeds.

It wasn’t much consolation, but still fortunate.

The Black Monkeys persistently rummaged around the area and finally left in the afternoon.

    “Keruk…”

“Bringies, you’ve been through a lot.”

Eventually, the goblings had to leave.

The cabin was Master’s space, not a place for slaves to use.

They could stay until Master returned, but they couldn’t do that indefinitely.

    “Ah!”

But sending them back to the gobling village was too dangerous.

    Three goblings had already died.

She had been tasked with managing the slaves, and already failing with three goblings dead.

Lulu cautiously headed to the orchard with the goblings.

Fortunately, the Black Monkeys seemed to have gone back.

    “Keruk. Keruk.”

“Bringies, sleep here tonight. But absolutely do not touch the fruit. If you get caught eating secretly, Master might kill you.”

    “Keruruk… Master is scary…”

“Won’t eat. Life is more important.”

She needed to restore the field before Master returned.

If she reported a small loss, it wouldn’t be a big deal.

Or so she thought, but the Black Monkeys came every day, and finally, when Master returned.

“What the… Not the state of the house… but why is the outside of the house in such a mess?”

    “Hng…”

Lulu and the goblings were summoned.
