    Ch.67Ep.67 Waterway vs. Chaos

    “Guhack!”

Nyarlathotep spits out his death throes from the unexpected attack and floats through the sky.

Poseidon realizes this is a golden opportunity and pushes her Divine Order to its limit.

‘If I could just kill Nyarlathotep here!’

If she could eliminate even one being with Divine Order, the tide of battle would instantly turn.

    “Inundación!”

Poseidon raises Triaina toward the sky.

From its three prongs, her powerful Divine Order opens its maw and roars.

    Swoooooosh!

Soon, an overwhelming torrent of rain engulfs the mountain, preparing to fill the entire world with water.

It was Poseidon’s ultimate technique, inspired by Olympus’s past massacres of humans, now revealing itself to the world.

    “Dieeeeee!”

Under Poseidon’s command, an indescribable volume of water rushes toward Nyarlathotep.

He seems to finally realize the sharp dagger aimed at him.

“In a place like this..! Do you think I’ll fall so easily?!”

He too unleashes his Divine Order at full power to counter Poseidon.

He abandons his worthless polymorphic form and returns to his hideous true form.

    Kuguuuguuguung.

Indescribable vapor rises from his entire body, and with the rippling air, chaos begins to engulf all of Kadinant.

Kraud, who was holding back Aldebaran, couldn’t hide his dismay.

‘Damn it! Why now of all times?!’

As the Skythé tattoo becomes completely filled, Cronos’s consciousness begins to occupy part of his mind.

While pushing back Aldebaran, he’s in an extreme situation where he must shake off Cronos’s mental control.

And in such a situation, to see all of Kadinant beginning to be engulfed in chaos…

    “Stop it!”

    “What?!”

“At this rate..! Kadinant and everything else will be completely destroyed!”

    “B-but my lord–“

Elysse appears to be in panic, trembling uncontrollably.

Though Kraud couldn’t understand why her condition had become strange,

He had no energy to spare for her feelings.

“Your lord Radios will die too if we’re not careful! Stop it!!”

At Kraud’s shout, Elysse seemed to come to her senses and hurriedly flew toward Nyarlathotep.

    “That blockhead! Not that way!!”

    “O-okay!”

Elysse changed direction at Kraud’s bellowing and busily moved to eliminate Nyarlathotep’s chaos.

Going directly to Nyarlathotep would only result in being reduced to ashes.

She needed to block Nyarlathotep’s magical power rising throughout Kadinant.

    “Haaaaaaaaah!”

    “Graaaaaaaaaah!”

Poseidon, continuing her power struggle with Nyarlathotep, had no leisure to look after Kadinant’s situation.

Not only had her killing blow turned into a power struggle,

If she backed down now, it would only produce greater damage.

‘Damn. I thought I had fully recovered, but was it still too much?’

To pretend to be captured by Yog-Sothoth, she had to actually sustain internal injuries.

Poseidon thought she had managed her injuries and restored Triaina while in prison, but…

‘Five minutes…? No. In three minutes… one of Triaina’s prongs will break.’

Even though Nyarlathotep was critically wounded,

If he had gone all out from the beginning, Poseidon would have once again faced the sight of Triaina breaking.

    ‘Then the only hope is…!’

Poseidon turned her head with an urgent expression toward Brina, who had struck Nyarlathotep.

While she felt great achievement that her strike had affected Nyarlathotep,

Once he revealed his true self, she was gripped by an inexplicable fear.

    ‘Oh no!’

Thanks to this, Poseidon could see.

Not just Nyarlathotep, but the true forms of those called the Outer God forces.

Not only hideous in appearance, but bizarrely shaped in ways that made one question how they could biologically exist.

Numerous tentacles with various eyes embedded between them, and randomly scattered teeth…

While Poseidon was already immune to such sights,

‘The ones in Kadinant… have no immunity to cosmic horror!’

    Cosmic horror.

Fear based on helplessness and worthlessness that comes from something humans can never oppose or reject, and cannot even properly understand.

    In other words,

It’s something that transcends the range of primal fear that humans can feel.

    Although Brina is a dokkaebi,

Once she faced Nyarlathotep’s true form, the pinnacle of cosmic horror, with her own eyes,

    ‘It’s… difficult to expect help!’

Yet facing Nyarlathotep alone is impossible.

    What remains is…

‘If I could get help from that guy who has father’s energy!’

But his mind seemed to be wavering for some reason,

And worse, if he couldn’t stop Aldebaran’s fall, that too would mean Kadinant’s destruction.

    This won’t work either.

    Then…

    [Radioooooooos!!!!]

She calls the name of the man who would dive into this situation like a moth to flame.

If he arrives quickly, they might be able to stop Nyarlathotep.

    ‘But if he doesn’t arrive…’

    Everyone will die.

All or nothing… from now on, it’s truly a race against time.

    ***

    [Ugh!]

A thought that always comes to mind is that this cursed grimoire is too difficult to handle.

Even now, just summoning it puts a strain on my body.

    ‘It’s consuming Radios’s magical power… so…’

“I don’t know what you’re trying to do, but hurry up, you bastard!!”

As magical power suddenly drained from Namgung Ihyun, Radios gritted his teeth and shouted.

He was already in a power struggle, and now his magic was being taken away.

“Hahahahaha! Things aren’t going as you want, huh? Huh?!”

    “Damn it!”

    Keeeeeeeng!

The God-Slaying Light Sword begins to be pushed back by chaos bit by bit.

‘What is that crazy woman trying to— Necronomicon?’

When Radios glanced at Namgung Ihyun, he realized the identity of the grimoire in her hand.

    Necronomicon.

The worst forbidden book was now being opened in her hands!

    [This is… the only way!]

    Woof! Woof!!

The sound of dogs barking comes from somewhere.

Radios could now understand Namgung Ihyun’s intention.

“Kuk. So the Necronomicon has something like that too?”

    Thump thump thump thump thump.

With the sound of the earth shaking, a huge quadrupedal animal rushes toward Serena.

    Yes, its identity is…

    “T-Tindalos hunting hounds?!”

    “Growl!”

    “Kyaak!”

Two Hounds of Tindalos that Kraud had previously subjugated.

Namgung Ihyun had gained control of their consciousness through the Necronomicon.

The two mad dogs, capable of attacking enemies by transcending time and space, each bit off one of Serena’s arms and disappeared.

    “Well done, Namgung Ihyun!!”

    “N-no!”

As a result, Radios’s God-Slaying Light Sword cut through the weakened chaos completely.

    “Take thiiiiis!”

    “Aaaaargh!!”

With incredible speed, it pierced both of Serena’s legs and stuck into the ground.

    Kwaaaaaaang!

A massive explosion followed by a storm of dust.

But Radios was not arrogant and acted cautiously.

Mere dust couldn’t block his vision.

    “Namgung Ihyun!”

[You don’t need to tell me! Withdraw, and bind her!]

    Kiririring.

Blood chains made of blood pierce through the dust and circle to bind Serena.

    Puk. Pupupuk. Pupupupuk!

    “Kyaaaaaaah!”

With the sound of chains piercing into flesh, the woman’s painful cry reaches their ears.

    [Lock it, seal it.]

    Click.

Then, Namgung Ihyun seals Serena’s magic at its source with a verbal command, preventing her from using magic.

“Now you understand the situation a bit, don’t you? Traitor.”

    “Uuuugh…”

With her limbs torn off and her freedom of action restricted,

Serena looked up at Radios and Namgung Ihyun with fearful eyes.

Her body was gradually collapsing but paradoxically regenerating.

Nyarlathotep’s blessing had transcended the limits of her body.

    “P-please…”

“Are you going to beg for forgiveness again? Even so–“

Just as he was about to say “you’re already dead,”

    Kuguuuguuguung.

    “What is this?!”

[…Is this what it means to have Divine Order? This is…]

Radios and Namgung Ihyun could feel it.

The dizzying sensation as if the sun was right before their eyes.

All of Kadinant… was being engulfed by Nyarlathotep’s chaos.

    “Hu, huhuhuhuhuhuh…”

Serena seemed to understand the situation and let out a hollow laugh.

    Yes, this was Nyarlathotep’s choice.

‘In the end, I was… nothing more than a traitor.’

Eventually, hope disappeared from her eyes, replaced by complete despair.

Radios swallowed hard and ordered Namgung Ihyun.

“Stop… that chaos… Kadinant must not be devoured.”

    [What will you do?]

    “Someone’s calling me.”

    [Radioooooooos!!!!]

    Poseidon was calling for him.

He vaguely understood why she was calling him despite Brina being nearby.

    ‘Lady Rin… wouldn’t have immunity.’

Radios had already experienced fighting Cthuga’s true form like a madman,

And had faced Yog-Sothoth’s true form in Namgung Ihyun’s consciousness.

Just thinking about Yog-Sothoth’s true form that he had glimpsed then,

‘It makes me want to vomit.’

Meanwhile, Rin was probably facing the Outer God forces for the first time,

And was likely experiencing cosmic horror.

“I’m counting on you… absolutely do not let Kadinant collapse.”

    [Leave this to me.]

    “Alright.”

The woman who once came here to destroy Kadinant,

Had now become a comrade he could entrust his back to.

    Indeed, human affairs are unpredictable.

Let’s leave this story here for now.

    “Right now..!”

He had to support Poseidon and stop Nyarlathotep.
