Seo Hyo-ju was dumbfounded.

    “…Are you avoiding me?”

She had bid 35 billion on the auction.

She thought it was worth that much, and since it was an item she absolutely needed, she didn’t feel it was a waste.

But it was an undeniable fact that she had invested such a large sum partly because she was thinking about meeting the seller who had put this item up for auction at that 35 billion price.

It meant that someone with the ability to obtain such leather was worth spending money on to build a connection.

And if the seller was who she thought it was, then it would have been an even more correct investment decision.

    But he had refused.

    “Hah…”

Suddenly, she remembered the man who had made her laugh.

She was half-convinced it was him, but she couldn’t be certain until she saw him in person.

Yet it felt awkward to contact him first.

    What would I even say?

Originally, she had planned to meet him as a buyer meeting a seller, pretend it was a coincidence, suggest having a meal sometime, and thank him for selling her such a good item—thus building a connection. But now that she’d been rejected right from the start, it felt awkward to reach out.

In times like these, she needed to try a different approach.

She searched for Kim Su-jung’s social media and checked it out.

Seo Hyo-ju had no reason to look up Kim Su-jung’s social media, but she remembered that Su-jung had bragged about following her that day.

Among the many people following her with the name Kim Su-jung, she quickly found the right one by recalling how Su-jung had shouted, “Unnie, my ID is…!” before leaving.

Kim Su-jung’s social media had quite a few followers too.

    Young age.

    Friendly personality.

A hunter with a pretty face.

Kim Su-jung’s social media was mostly filled with photos taken in dungeons, without much showing off or vanity.

After a period of inactivity, today a new post had appeared—a video.

    A link leading to YouTube.

[SSS+ Rank Farmer Hunter. Watch it right now!]

    “…”

    Was she hacked?

That was her first thought seeing such an amateurish advertising phrase, but Hyo-ju couldn’t resist clicking when she saw the thumbnail perfectly capturing the moment when five goblins’ necks were sliced and a familiar man stylishly sheathing his sword.

    She had to admit it.

You couldn’t call yourself a hunter if you didn’t click on this.

Following the link, she found a newly created channel called [SSS+ Rank Farmer Hunter] with only 5 subscribers and just one video.

    The title was [Leaping Slash].

    The 3-minute video ended quickly.

Even after it ended and YouTube’s automatic recommendation timer passed and another video started playing, Seo Hyo-ju didn’t turn it off.

She was watching in a daze.

    “…Wow.”

    It was impressive.

Hunters are superhuman beings with near-supernatural abilities, but there aren’t many hunters who fight this stylishly in reality.

Of course, showing such performance in a low-level dungeon wouldn’t be difficult for someone of Seo Hyo-ju’s caliber, but that’s assuming the person is around her hunter rank and level.

Which means the man in this video must be a hunter around her level.

“Kim Su-hyun, what are you really hiding?”

Seeing the huge “SSS+ Rank Hunter” label, she thought that even if he wasn’t truly SSS+ rank, he must be at least S-rank.

    How clever.

If he had just written “S-rank Hunter,” people would think, “What kind of S-rank is this? Probably B or A-rank at best.”

But by writing the ridiculous “SSS+” rank, even when people mentally downgrade it, they still end up thinking he must be at least S-rank.

    She regretted watching this video.

Her suspicion had turned into certainty.

    She felt slightly anxious.

    Maybe she was overreacting.

But her grandfather always used to say:

“Your instincts are right, Hyo-ju. Trust your instincts.”

Even before awakening as a hunter, she had always trusted her instincts and succeeded, overturning evaluations of “risky challenges” and earning recognition.

    This time was no different.

The Golden Guild and Golden Group needed a turning point.

They were certainly the second largest conglomerate in Korea and the third-ranked guild, but they were always losing the top position to the Han Group.

To overturn this, the Golden Guild needed to become number one first.

    For that, they needed hunters.

    “I have to catch him.”

    At minimum, an S-rank hunter.

And not just any S-rank hunter.

The value of an S-rank hunter who could clear dungeons and obtain A-rank leather needed no explanation.

Seo Hyo-ju left a comment on the video, which had only 11 views so far, using her main YouTube account.

    – You’re my ideal type.

    “Pfft.”

Even as she wrote it, Seo Hyo-ju didn’t understand why she had commented like that.

She just wanted to write it that way.

    Why?

Perhaps it reminded her of when she laughed at his sudden self-deprecating joke at the apartment.

Maybe she had unconsciously developed some inner sense of familiarity with him.

It might have been a momentary whim, but she left without deleting it and exited the channel.

    She was curious.

Would he still reject her after this?

Even if he had rejected auction participant #69 because he didn’t know it was her.

Could a new YouTuber really turn down an offer from major YouTuber Seo Hyo-ju?

Despite these thoughts, Seo Hyo-ju, with a reddened face, couldn’t bring herself to look at the YouTube channel on her phone again until she got home.

    —————

It was almost time to log in, so I hadn’t paid any attention to the YouTube situation.

The same was true for Kim Su-jung.

“Ugh. There’s too much to bring.”

This time, there was too much to take.

First, the plan was to bring solar panels to set up electricity and connect a small refrigerator—that was the primary goal.

Once that was done, I wouldn’t need to bring a bunch of fully charged power banks every time for tablets and other electronic devices. It would make things much more convenient.

I could have cold drinks and freeze meat for long-term storage.

So this was definitely something I had to bring, and after that, I packed food to eat there.

    This part was easier now.

I hadn’t even eaten all the food I brought last time, and since I mostly packed easy-to-cook items, quite a lot fit into one box.

I also packed some food for Lulu.

And the armor was completed, so I picked that up too.

It wasn’t as good as A+ grade armor, but it had sufficient options for immediate use.

With a few accessories I’d spent days searching for, I felt I could now proudly say I was properly equipped like a real hunter.

“Wow, oppa. You used to wear stuff that looked like maggots, but now you look like a real hunter.”

“We’re going at 6 AM tomorrow, so set your alarm.”

“Okay. Whew. Do you know how much more regular my schedule has become since joining Farming Company? I used to stay up all night and wake up in the afternoon on days I didn’t go to dungeons… I guess you don’t know. Anyway, see you tomorrow.”

Kim Su-jung seemed to enjoy the farm life and happily went to bed early, excited to see Lulu tomorrow.

I also lay down in bed, ready to sleep.

    I felt nervous and excited.

Every time I log out and log back in, I achieve tremendous changes and growth, whether in reality or in the Rift Dimension.

It’s no wonder people get addicted to the sense of growth in games.

Visible growth and progress soak people in endless dopamine and make them forget what it means to be tired or exhausted.

The battle with the S-rank monster, the Ogre.

    Can I win?

As I was thinking this and trying to fall asleep, Kim Su-jung suddenly opened the door and came in.

“Oppa! Big news! This is huge!”

    “What is it?”

“Our YouTube channel. It’s blowing up!”

On the phone screen Kim Su-jung held out, I could see the YouTube channel [SSS+ Rank Farmer Hunter] that we had created yesterday morning.

I had seen that my mom and dad had subscribed, along with Kim Su-jung and Lee Ji-hyun, and my parents had even contacted relatives to subscribe, bringing it to 20-something or 30-something subscribers, but…

    “What? 30,000?”

Why did we get 30,000 subscribers in just one day?

“Did you see Hyo-ju unnie’s comment?”

    “Who’s Hyo-ju?”

    “Seo Hyo-ju! From Golden Guild!”

    “Oh.”

Scrolling down, I saw the most liked comment at the top.

    – You’re my ideal type.

    “…? Isn’t that a fake account?”

“I thought so too and checked, but it’s really her.”

“Someone else must have written it using her account.”

“She confirmed it herself during a livestream. She said she wrote it.”

    “Why?”

“Hyo-ju unnie always says her ideal type is a handsome and strong hunter. Maybe that’s why?”

    “What the…”

    So it’s just clickbait.

“But thanks to that, we got a lot of subscribers. It’s great publicity!”

    “That’s good.”

Having more subscribers was good, but I wasn’t as excited about it as Kim Su-jung was.

It felt more like something inevitable.

To be honest, I vaguely thought that with SSS+ rank abilities, I’d succeed without much effort anyway.

    “Let’s just go to sleep.”

“…Ah, you’re no fun. When you get back, at least thank her for this. I don’t know why she did it though. But how did she even find our channel? We just made it yesterday. Wait! Could it be she saw my social media?”

“Doesn’t she have better things to do? It probably just showed up in her algorithm.”

The debut of a new YouTuber was quite successful, even if the person in question was indifferent about it.
