Ch.6666. Unity (2)
by fnovelpia
The universe is empty.
Though countless stars adorn the black world, even that…
When observed over tens of millions, even billions of eternal years, even the most lofty and powerful beings would eventually grow weary.
-…..
That’s why the constellation later called the Visitor, who would become the terror of all things, was empty and lonely.
-We weren’t wrong.
A foolish constellation suggested the wrong method.
-Is this truly the right path?
A dull-witted constellation asked.
-I’ll take responsibility. This will bring proper peace to the world.
Yet another irresponsible constellation arbitrarily sketched Dianon’s future.
And what was born from that was…
-W-what is happening?!
-Clearly, according to the formula, nothing should be wrong… Aaaaargh!!
-You wicked thing…! Do you not know the beings who gave birth to you…!
Agonizing screams echoed throughout the vast universe.
-Chomp. Chomp.
Energy is needed to maintain the power of stars.
So it simply ate what was right in front of it.
A natural and instinctive act that couldn’t be contained by human ethical standards.
The Visitor only regained its senses after devouring the three constellations involved in its creation.
It opened its eyes.
The stars that had become mere husks were now the Visitor’s eyes, and with these opened eyes, it gazed upon the newly revealed world.
Vibrant colors intervened in the monochrome world, and it began to be tinged with emotions it didn’t understand.
-Pretty.
The still youthful Visitor offered an honest appraisal.

A child’s innocent curiosity kills the goldfish.
The Visitor gazing upon the colorful world of “Dianon” seemed to fit that description.
Though manifested by someone, its mere existence harmed all living things.
And so began the nightmare for merciless players.
Other constellations trembled in fear at the overwhelming divine power unlike anything they’d seen before, and the world was on the brink of destruction if it wasn’t stopped.
In the end, the burden fell upon the players who had to become the strongest constellations in the world.
When the Visitor constellation began its activities after devouring three constellations, a large amount of curses spread, creating demonic territories.
This led to the birth of demon lords, which became the hero’s responsibility.
When the Visitor’s activities reached their peak, a constellation stood before her.
The constellation that had risen to the strongest and greatest position in the world.
‘What?’
The Visitor, who had regarded all actions as mere ‘play’ until now, was bewildered.
‘I hurt.’
Pain.
Attacks delivered with divine power of equal caliber were enough to cause pain even to the Visitor.
‘Why do you hurt me?’
Though they couldn’t communicate with words, the Visitor didn’t hide her disappointment.
Feeling hurt and angry at the target, she rebelled more fiercely.
The world was now focused on the holy war between two constellations fighting for the world’s survival.
‘I hate you. I told you I was hurting, but you keep hitting me. I really hate you.’
Thus, at the end of everything, the Visitor sealed in the Absolute One’s underground prison harbored a deep curse, awaiting a future day.
—
“Title: But Can a Mere Prison<< Really Contain a Late-Game Boss?
-If it ever breaks free, don’t we have to start all over again?
└Don’t jinx it, damn it;
└According to the lore, once sealed, no one can escape, so we have to believe that
└They say it’s a separate world where time flows differently
└Mental training room OMG
└A room you can’t leave unless you xx;;
└Oh…”
—
Time continues to flow.
Though the Visitor couldn’t see the outside world from her sealed state, she lived within the vivid memories in her mind.
And she took time to reflect on herself.
In a space where the concept of time was completely removed.
The Visitor could do nothing else but—
Repeatedly revisit her most intense moments and her most enjoyable moments.
At the center of those memories always existed the Absolute One.
‘I hate you.’
The Visitor still despised the constellation named the Absolute One.
#
While time stands still in the sealed prison, the consciousness of what’s inside continues to remain.
Not knowing how much time had passed, the Visitor didn’t care.
After forgetting even the brief impatience, all that remained was the same emptiness as at the beginning.
Then.
-Thud.
“….?”
From some blank day, the sealing power constraining the Visitor weakened.
Though failing to be completely liberated, she succeeded in sending some divine power outside the prison.
Despite severe restrictions and suffering pain as the price for defying the seal, the Visitor didn’t mind at all.
Though the energy was as weak and fragile as an ant compared to her true form, the Visitor eagerly peered through the outside hole from the room where no one came.
Unlike before when her mere existence caused harm, now her energy was feeble even to Dianon’s residents.
The world she saw again was surprisingly beautiful and peaceful.
Contrary to the images of people falling into fear, despair, and wailing to avoid her energy—
The Visitor was immersed in another fresh shock.
They were happy.
But they wouldn’t be happy if the Visitor was near.
When she didn’t know, she didn’t care, but now, watching this peaceful world.
She grew impatient again at their tranquility.
‘I want to blend in.’
Their lives looked fun.
The lives of constellations and residents.
They loved each other and trusted each other deeply.
The Visitor had no such relationships.
The only ones she had were the three constellations who created her without knowing her existence, and the hateful Absolute One.
Again.
The Visitor observed the world.
The world viewed from loneliness and solitude was filled with light and love, and at its center was the greatest constellation, the Absolute One.
The Absolute One here, the Absolute One there.
The whole world was nestled in the Absolute One’s embrace, and soon the Visitor began to get confused about her hatred.
‘It looks warm.’
So she became envious.
She envied his position in this world.
A warm world where everyone looked to him and loved him.
The Visitor’s thoughts began to flow in a different direction.
At the end was not hatred, but pure curiosity.
Pure curiosity.
The fundamental emotion that formed the Visitor’s existence from the very beginning.
After removing loneliness and hatred, she reached the clearest and purest state.
‘I want to meet him.’
The Visitor wanted to meet the Absolute One again, even if just once.
She wanted to see the world he was looking at together with him.
The thought of ‘unification’ came from such a natural flow of thinking.
So now.
Looking at the surprised face of the Absolute One, the Visitor gained an unexpectedly pleasant feeling even to her own surprise, and wore a faint smile.
“What?”
“I want unification.”
“I feel strange right now.”
The Absolute One, Ron, hugged his shoulders with both arms and showed a wounded expression.
“Incarnation of the Black Sun: This is no time for jokes…!”
“What are you talking about? This is more of a joke than ever.”
The Visitor.
That boss monster that boasted such vicious difficulty—
Has put aside her pride and even used divine manifestation to say she wants to be with me.
If this isn’t a joke, what is?
Ron was confused.
He wasn’t sure whether to unleash his highest attack skills right now, or to continue the conversation a bit more.
But since the former would leave no room for dialogue, he decided to take a step back for now.
“So. Why?”
“Huh?”
“Why do you want to merge with me?”
-Unification! Unification!
A constellation was making noise beside them, but soon quieted down thanks to the Star Child.
“Because I think it would be much more fun and happy that way.”
“Happy.”
For a word coming from a constellation’s mouth, it carried a meaning too unfamiliar.
Usually, constellations preferred to decorate their judgments with impressive-sounding words rather than such fundamental emotions.
“The Absolute One is strong.”
“I am pretty strong.”
“And everyone likes the strong Absolute One. And they’re happy.”
“Hmm… that’s true.”
“So I want to unify with the Absolute One.”
So different from her previous mindless physical bombardment, Ron was momentarily surprised by her somewhat logical reasoning.
But here’s one problem.
“So how exactly do we do this unification?”
“…Huh?”
At the Absolute One’s question, the Visitor tilted her head.
“Don’t you know about unification?”
“How would I know? I’ve never done it before.”
Ron, who until recently was just an ordinary human, had no way of knowing.
And the worldly-ignorant Visitor didn’t know either.
Though she had lived for countless millions of centuries, this was the first time she viewed another constellation as a companion to be with rather than prey to devour.
“Please wait.”
Ron held his head, which felt like it might get dizzy, and waited.
Emergency strategy meeting.
In his mental space (friend window), he requested an urgent meeting with two constellations.
