    Ch.6565. Raising a Björn Apostle (3)

    ‘······What is this?’

    Meanwhile, at the same time.

As I watched Bjorn break through the wall to reach the advanced level, I couldn’t understand what was happening.

Except for the fact that Bjorn reached the advanced level, nothing about what actually happened matched my plan.

First of all, according to the original plan, that wolf god shouldn’t have appeared.

The place Bjorn was drawn into was his inner mental world, and I, who guided him there, intended to manifest the possibility of Bjorn reaching the advanced level among his many potential futures.

It might sound absurd, but with the instability and irregularity unique to the mental world, combined with my intervention, it wasn’t particularly impossible.

Therefore, I planned to make the current Bjorn fight against a successfully manifested future version of himself, ultimately providing infinite continues until he reached the advanced level, but·····.

Somehow, without me doing anything in particular, a wolf suddenly appeared, and when I tried to summon the future Bjorn, the remnants of the wolf god lingering in his mind showed up instead.

I was quite taken aback by this unexpected variable, but upon further reflection, it wasn’t entirely bad.

Capturing exactly what you want among countless future possibilities is several times more difficult than one might think.

Considering the faith that would be consumed in the process, I determined this choice to be the best option, so after some deliberation, I let Bjorn face whatever that wolf god form was.

Looking carefully, it seemed to be the wolf god’s lingering thoughts with divine remnants attached to them, reflecting my intentions.

The wolf god had become a symbol of Bjorn’s limitations while simultaneously functioning as a mirror for Bjorn to see himself.

My intention was for him to see aspects of himself in it and gain some sort of enlightenment·······.

Unfortunately, this led to the second variable: ‘Bjorn’s Soul Disappearance Incident.’

As Bjorn observed the wolf god and happened to see through its inner nature, attempting to gain enlightenment like in some martial arts novel, I was happily waiting for his growth.

He was breaking through the wall by gaining insight into the frozen wolf god’s inner self—essentially looking through a mirror reflecting himself.

I was enjoying watching this when·······.

    ‘············Huh?’

Suddenly, Bjorn’s soul momentarily detached from that space.

Surprised by this completely unexpected event that occurred without any warning signs, I jumped up.

Around that time, Bjorn’s soul returned.

In terms of perceived time in this world, it was about 10 seconds; in that other world, it was less than 0.001 seconds at most.

Despite such a brief time, Bjorn had somehow reached the advanced level and killed that inexplicable fake wolf god-like entity with a single sword strike.

    That was the whole story.

Let’s think about this. Yes, let’s think. Why, why did this happen?

To better understand this incomprehensible incident, I first put Bjorn to sleep and analyzed his soul.

    ‘There’s········no abnormality.’

And the result was completely normal.

The spiritual connection between us hadn’t been severed, nor had his soul transformed into something else.

However, while there were no abnormalities, that didn’t mean there were no issues at all.

    【Rank】3

    【Job】Lord of Chaos

    ‘········?’

First, something was strange about his job.

The job that should have been Lord of War—commonly known as Warlord—had strangely transformed into something I’d never heard of called Lord of Chaos.

Moreover, while his soul hadn’t completely transformed, it was coated with some kind of bizarre energy.

From my perspective, combining these facts led to a conclusion.

‘Certainly, the name of the being who brought me to this world was God of Chaos········so it must be related, right?’

The reason I fell into this parallel world resembling Dungeons & Adventure was due to the guidance of the God of Chaos, and now Bjorn’s job title is Lord of Chaos········literally meaning the Lord of Chaos.

Even an idiot couldn’t miss the connection between these two facts.

‘So, that God of Chaos········isn’t exactly the culprit.’

Therefore, my conclusion was that Bjorn must have accidentally approached this self-proclaimed God of Chaos.

A deity powerful enough to send me to this world and even make me a god would certainly be capable of tinting his soul in less than 10 seconds.

Additionally, based on my further speculation, Bjorn probably didn’t have direct contact with that god.

Even I, who only recently reached the intermediate level, could drive someone insane just by revealing my true form to anyone below intermediate level, without doing anything, simply through my presence and the trace amounts of divinity surrounding me.

Their grudges would amplify on their own, making them rampage madly until parts of their body turned to blood, ultimately falling into endless rage until their soul melted away from the divinity.

If even I can do this effortlessly, what about the God of Chaos?

Considering that just encountering or even being near such a being could result in instant death·······. He probably just received some moderate influence.

My guess was that if Bjorn had actually reached a space similar to that God of Chaos’s divine territory, he wouldn’t have survived, no matter how exceptional he is.

Anyway, having decided to ignore the issue since there was no major problem—or more accurately, nothing I could do about the existing problems—I began to check his changed state.

The easiest and quickest fact I discovered was that the attribute of his aura had changed.

Previously, it was non-elemental like most auras, but upon checking again, his aura had transformed into something I’d never seen or heard of called Chaos.

And this Chaos attribute aura not only ignored the target’s attribute resistances but was also basically non-elemental, yet would change to match the target’s weakness if one existed.

    ‘········Isn’t this cheating?’

It was such an unfairly powerful attribute that if you encountered an enemy with this attribute in a game, you’d question the developer’s upbringing.

Also, upon checking his job, I found that there weren’t many significant changes from what previously existed.

Only some of the Lord of War skills that used special attributes had all changed to the Chaos attribute.

In some ways, these were only beneficial changes, and decisively, unique skills exclusive to Lord of Chaos had been added.

    First, Army of Chaos.

As the name suggests, this summoning skill······.

Appears to summon outsider monsters classified as ‘Soldiers of Chaos’.

The total combat power of the army increases proportionally to the MP consumed for summoning, but the quality and quantity ratio is complete chaos.

From armies consisting of various soldiers between ranks 8 and 7, to summoning something called a military chaos dragon.

Even which monsters are summoned is entirely random.

Considering it’s not a cooldown skill but a limited-use one, usable once per day·······.

It seemed almost excessively luxurious, so no further explanation is needed.

Also, while Bjorn’s original intended job, Lord of War, could be described as a technical warrior,

the current Lord of Chaos seemed almost too versatile, capable of a wide variety of things.

The use of Chaos Magic, something never seen or heard of before.

Stealth that goes beyond not being detected outside others’ field of vision to not even being targetable.

And on top of that, teleportation abilities that ignore even teleportation restrictions as long as it’s to a place not visible to others.

Although it’s somewhat different from the intended direction, Bjorn was able to advance splendidly to the next level.

He could still use all the original abilities of Lord of War, and the unique skills of this Lord of Chaos job were beyond imagination.
