    Ch.6262. Wolf Berserker

After the creation and deployment of the new Blood Wolves to the Blood Warrior army, Rael actively shared his opinions with me regarding new military formations.

Of course, most of his suggestions were often rejected due to the limitations of the era’s understanding, falling short compared to my judgment, which was essentially like having glimpsed thousands of years into the future.

Nevertheless, Rael enthusiastically organized and presented his ideas, especially since some exceptional tactical concepts that were only possible due to the existence of superhumans were implemented when deemed reasonable.

《Are you saying we need a new military branch?》

    “Yes, that’s correct.”

Among these ideas was a special military branch unique to this world where superhumans exist.

“We need shock infantry that charge into enemy lines, different from the Blood Warriors.”

    ‘Shock infantry?’

At first, I thought it was just a failed concept stemming from tribal society knowledge, but… upon further reflection, shock infantry was indeed an essential branch in this fantasy world.

The Blood Warriors I envisioned were like the anvil in a hammer-and-anvil strategy—heavy infantry armed with shields and halberds, forming defensive formations to withstand enemy charges.

The role of delivering fatal blows to the enemy was assigned to medium cavalry with Blood Warriors mounted on Blood Wolves, or to scout/light cavalry units like the Hounds of Vengeance.

My basic tactics were based on typical real-world strategy: defensive formations supported by firepower from Blood Cannons mounted on battle chariots firing from the rear.

However, this tactical approach had a critical weakness.

Naturally, it lacked flexibility on the battlefield.

While cavalry remains a powerful weapon even in this world of superhumans… entrusting everything to cavalry presents too many variables to consider in the wars of gods.

Terrains like swamps or quicksand that hinder movement, mountainous divine realms designed to impede charges, or wide-scale divine powers or magic that could sweep away forces in a single blow.

Rael argued that shock infantry capable of advancing into enemy lines was essential to flexibly respond to these various situations.

While Blood Warriors, being northern warriors by origin, could certainly be formidable if they broke formation and charged… Rael went a step further, insisting on a branch dedicated solely to charging.

He claimed it would be the most suitable branch for divine servants whose stats could be elevated to intermediate level through blessings, even if they weren’t inherently intermediate-level beings.

Come to think of it, in games, almost all gods had such charge-type servants under them. I remember they were infamous as “gatekeepers” or “cannon fodder cutters”—beings with no special abilities but overwhelmingly strong base stats.

《Very well, Rael Auredottir. I will follow your advice.》

“It is an honor that you would accept my humble counsel.”

Finding this idea quite useful, I accepted his suggestion and immediately began preparations to create a specialized branch dedicated solely to charging.

First, for these shock troops, I chose to create inherent servants like the Hounds of Vengeance or Blood Wolves, rather than modifying mortal beings as was done with the Blood Warriors.

The primary reason was that to elevate beings with lower-tier limitations to near intermediate-tier physical abilities, they needed to be built from birth to reach such levels.

The second reason was that I was reluctant to risk wasting precious warrior souls on what would essentially be suicide charges or similarly dangerous deployments.

Thus, for these two reasons, I decided to form the shock troops as robot-like beings molded according to my will from their very creation.

The completed shock troops’ appearance featured red armor with a wolf-like design covering their entire body, leaving no skin visible, topped with Blood Wolf fur.

These beast-like creatures could either extend claws from the backs of their hands to slash like wolves or wield weapons with their separate hands.

The true nature of these so-called Wolf Berserkers was essentially living armor filled with blood.

With no visible seams, they appeared to be ornate metal dolls created as a single piece. While the armor might seem to be their main body at first glance, the reality was different.

The liquid completely filling their interior without the slightest gap was their true form—the blood inside was the actual essence of the Wolf Berserkers.

Designed to overcome the chronic weaknesses of heavy infantry—”breakthrough” and “armor penetration”—they suffered almost no damage regardless of impacts to their interior.

Therefore, the only way to defeat them was to destroy their armor.

Of course, this armor was linked to the blood within,

allowing them to instantly repair damaged areas or stop bleeding by consuming blood. The claws on their hands could also dissolve enemy bodies or other materials, converting them into internal blood.

The Wolf Berserkers were entities that combined all the revolting combinations I had experienced thus far.

*Warning! Gore/cruel and brutal descriptions may appear!

He was staggering down the street, carrying some kind of sack in his hand.

    At 19 years old,

by the Roman Empire’s standards, he should have had a respectable job and family by now… but he was still living as a parasite in his family’s home without any occupation.

The public view was understandably cold toward this strange lifestyle of someone who was physically capable, had citizenship, and was even relatively well-educated.

But he, addicted to that ‘pleasure,’ paid no attention to such concerns.

The pleasure he felt when he first visited ‘that place’ on the recommendation of a senior from his academy revealed to him that his entire life until then had been meaningless.

The impact was so profound that he could confidently say he was reborn under that ecstasy, and as he was heading there again to experience the same sensation…

    Wriggle!

“You old stench! Stop moving! You’re heavy!”

About the size of a rice sack by modern standards. When he snapped at ‘that thing’ wriggling in the sack of that size, it seemed to give up and stopped.

“Heh, heh, should have, done that, earlier…”

Thus, using his arms that resembled thin twigs with no trace of muscle, he carried the sack, wandering through back alleys for quite some time.

    “F-found it!”

After spotting a sign marked with a symbol—two overlapping circles drawn in purple dye—he immediately approached the brick wall where the sign hung and pushed himself against it.

With a sensation like his body was being sucked in, he suddenly found himself in some enclosed, sealed space.

The interior was filled with strange heat, moans of pleasure, and contradictorily, screams of agony and chilling laughter.

On one side, dozens of naked couples, intoxicated by the purple smoke flowing through the space, were excitedly engaging in activities too explicit to describe in a 15-rated novel.

On the other side, dozens of men and women covered in bizarre, distorted tattoos and piercings had hung human torsos—still alive despite having their limbs severed—on hooks suspended in the air, using them for “artistic activities.”

A musical performance using screams as instruments.

A beautiful landscape painting using backs as canvases and flames as brushes.

Living statues and chefs cooking the byproducts of these processes.

Amidst these horrific acts of cruelty, including exploring the mysteries of the human body and recording the results in books made from the person’s own body…

    “Phew, let’s go, Mother.”

    “Mmph! Mmmmph! MMMMMMPH!!!”

Having just arrived, he too joined these groups, changing into similar attire, then taking out the mass he had prepared and grinning widely.

    Rip!

    “──────?!!!?!!?!!!!”

Beginning with hanging it on a hook and healing his mind with screams that could hardly be called such, he prepared to start his true art with the tools he had brought.

*Pleasure Cult’s Evil God, Evil God of Pleasure Sodomia Gomorio Blutas

    《…………Tee-hee.》

And watching her child who had fallen into such depravity, the Evil God of Pleasure Sodomia Gomorio Blutas───

*Bacchus, Goddess of Alcohol, Entertainment, and Festivals

Also known as Bacchus, one of the 12 main gods of the pantheon, the Goddess of Alcohol, Festivals, and Entertainment smiled contentedly at the satisfying scene, letting her followers hear her flirtatious giggle as she quietly waited for her birth.
