If there was something I hadn’t anticipated, it was that Mona Lisa was simply having a platonic(?) and passionate love-love relationship with that imperial princess.

Unlike Mona Lisa’s situation, where other clan members weren’t fanatically worshipping(?) or following her as a meme, and were simply congratulating her…

Unfortunately, unlike Mona Lisa, I had too many fanatics(?) already, yet I hadn’t considered this when I was encouraged by other users’ “birth announcements” and quietly posted my own.

It started with bizarre comments on my gallery post, and then…

They were spamming my territory’s chat room, “blessing”(?) the birth of the so-called “Icarus’s heirs.”

They were carrying on with all sorts of first verses, second verses, third verses, and complete nonsense without any restraint.

And as the ultimate expression of this madness…

<Holy Hourglass Empire Official Chat Room>

<Notice: At last, Icarus’s heirs have been born, everyone rise and cheer>

-[What’s this, do we have to congratulate Icarus on his son’s birth when we come here?]

-[Not necessarily, but he’s our boss so we just do it]

    -[I see]

-[How about new people do something together to get in sync?]

    -[Like what?]

-[We got a bunch of new outposts recently]

-[I was thinking maybe we could do a flash mob or something]

    -[Ohhh…]

    -[That actually sounds pretty good]

    —————————————–

Out of nowhere, they decided to do some weird flash mob, gathering with the people who were protesting in front of Daedalus.

Then they started writing “Congrats on the babies” with small ships…

    “Crazy, crazy, crazy.”

“Commander, are you starting to regret posting that verification on the gallery?”

    “Yeah, very much so.”

I could feel a bitter sensation in my gut from the intense pressure of all that praise.

    ==========

Anyway, while they were busy laughing and chatting among themselves…

After about 2-3 days of this… right after I sent warning messages to those who had sent strange gifts for the babies, Jessica approached me saying she had something to report.

“Commander, the dismantling work you mentioned has been completed.”

“Huh? Has that much time passed already?”

And with that, I realized it was time to receive my pretty, precious Hresvelgr Mark II that I’d forgotten about until now.

“The rest of the ships have been dismantled too, right?”

“Yes, since they were all destroyers, there was no need to take it slow.”

Jessica, dressed in formal attire today, gestured with her gloved hand as she spoke, and I nodded and decided to receive the Hresvelgr Mark II right away.

As the “wrapping” was automatically removed at the internal docking facility of the outpost, I decided to check the current status of my fleet…

    —————————————–

    Fleet Status

    Total Points: 1,348/1,350 points

    Annihilation-type Siege Battleship: 1 ship, 120 points each = 120 points

Assault Combat Aircraft Carrier: 3 ships, 110 points each = 330 points

    Dreadnought: 5 ships, 100 points each = 500 points

Aircraft Carrier: 0 ships, 70 points each = 0 points

Arsenal Ship: 2 ships, 70 points each = 140 points

Salvage Ship: 1 ship, 50 points each = 50 points

Heavy Battleship: 0 ships, 45 points each = 45 points

    Battleship: 0 ships, 40 points each = 0 points

Subspace Submarine: 1 ship, 50 points each = 50 points

Light Aircraft Carrier: 0 ships, 40 points each = 0 points

    Battlecruiser: 0 ships, 30 points each = 0 points

Heavy Cruiser: 2 ships, 10 points each = 10 points

Light Cruiser: 0 ships, 6 points each = 0 points

    Destroyer: 42 ships, 3 points each = 126 points

Escort Ship: 0 ships, 1.5 points each = 0 points

Patrol Ship: 0 ships, 1 point each = 0 points

Resource Mining Ship: 8 ships, 1.5 points each = 12 points

    —————————————–

    ‘Wow, it fits perfectly.’

Since I wasn’t particularly good at these detailed mathematical calculations, I had just roughly estimated the points.

But I had exactly 2 points left, which meant if I got another ship through gacha or other means in the future, I wouldn’t need to dismantle anything.

I found myself nodding in satisfaction at how excellent this was.

And after checking the fleet status like this, as always…

“Call Dornia and Decarabia. We need to do some work including leveling up the Hresvelgr Mark II.”

“Yes, I’ll call them right away, Commander.”

Since it was absolutely essential to level up a newly acquired ship to ensure it performed properly,

I decided to use the relatively recent additions Dornia and Decarabia for the leveling work, instead of Berial and other superhumans who had grown too powerful for efficient leveling.

    ==========

So after sending those two people along with an escort fleet including the Hresvelgr Mark II,

And while paying this week’s “Daedalus modification costs”…

<This is different from the rare mineral ‘gold’ and can only be used here>

    <Commander’s remaining currency: 811,009 gold>

    —————————————-

    ‘Wow…’

Thanks to significantly increasing the amount of resources for sale as planned, the gold supply from the trading market was in a very optimistic state.

At the same time, with the 12 new outposts we’d acquired, the gold income rate had increased dramatically.

    “Commander, Commander.”

    “Yes?”

“At this rate, we’ll collect 1 million gold in about two weeks at the latest, right?”

    “Yeah, it’s faster than expected.”

I’m not joking, at this rate I thought we could reach our goal of 1 million gold in as little as two weeks, or a month at most.

But while I was estimating the gold income rate and preparing to watch the Hresvelgr Mark II’s leveling process…

    -Beep! Beep!

-“Commander, there are unfamiliar fleets from another commander nearby. Should we proceed with our work?”

    “An unfamiliar user fleet?”

When the superhumans suddenly mentioned “external users not docked at my outpost,” I felt question marks floating above my head, wondering what was going on.
