Ch.6161. Sister, Please Keep Your Hands Still.

    “How’s the water temperature?”

    “It’s warm and nice.”

“As I thought when I touched them earlier, your breasts are quite magnificent, aren’t they?”

“….Yours are magnificent too, my lady.”

Why did their conversation sound so natural?

I wondered if there was some kind of connection between crazy women.

Actually, I had planned to leave before Luna entered the bath.

But when I saw Luna confidently entering completely naked after unwrapping her towel, ‘that fellow’ down below became heavy.

Now I was in an awkward situation where I could neither stay nor leave.

I was mentally trying to soothe and calm ‘that fellow’ down.

I knew Luna was a dangerous woman.

However, what fault was there in her pure body?

Besides, she seemed to have been training hard recently, overflowing with muscular beauty, so ‘that fellow’ couldn’t help but respond.

“Selden, how is it? How does it feel to be in a bath with two pretty women with great figures?”

“Father will scold me if he finds out.”

“Then we just make sure he doesn’t find out, right Luna?”

    Luna, still red-faced, nodded slightly.

Then she very slowly moved her body next to mine.

“Young master, I’ll move a bit more to the side.”

    “W-why? There’s plenty of room.”

“The lady keeps touching my body….”

The atmosphere in the bath was getting quite heated.

If Jawil Wilson could see this scene, he would be so envious that he’d immediately strip and jump into the bath, but I was trying hard to maintain my composure.

“Sister, please keep your hands still.”

“Why!? It’s not like you’re going to touch me instead.”

When in life would I ever have the chance to bathe with two women?

Though it was regrettable, I stood up quickly to leave, concerned about rumors spreading through the mansion.

Fortunately, ‘that fellow’ had also calmed down.

“I’ll be taking my leave now.”

    “Kyaah!”

“Our Selden is quite impressive, isn’t he?”

Luna couldn’t even lift her head, while Miria Alphonse was flicking her tongue and having a staring contest with my ‘fellow.’

With a short sigh, I stepped out of the bath.

    *

“Your skin is so fresh and smooth despite drinking so much yesterday. Must be your youth!”

“I woke up early and soaked in hot water.”

“Oh? I suppose you bathed with Miria again?”

So Baron Byron knew about it too….

With a sense of resignation, I nodded.

    “…Yes, that’s right.”

“Well, it’s not your fault. It’s all because of Miria.”

“By the way, you drank quite a lot yesterday. Are you feeling alright?”

“I’m fine. I’m not old enough to need your concern yet.”

“Haha! I apologize for my unnecessary worry.”

Baron Byron firmly gripped the handle of the teacup on the reception room table.

“Now return to the family. You’ve even received gifts from His Majesty the Emperor, so your other brothers won’t be able to say anything.”

“As I mentioned before, I’d like to complete my full exile period.”

    “Why?”

“There’s the matter of compensation and many other issues to resolve.”

“Federicks can stay behind and handle those.”

“I don’t doubt Federicks’ abilities, but I’d like to finish what I started with my own hands.”

Baron Byron furrowed his brow and continued.

“Is it perhaps because you’re uncomfortable with the first and second sons at home?”

“Well, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t uncomfortable, but it’s really because of the work I need to do, so please don’t worry.”

“Then what do you plan to do for the family when you return?”

I sensed Baron Byron was indirectly expressing concern about the succession dispute.

I adjusted my posture while maintaining a relaxed smile.

“With my first and second brothers firmly in place, I plan to quietly work diligently in the background.”

“…I see. Oh, and I heard that knight Jawil Wilson also attended the imperial event?”

“Yes, I thought it would be appropriate to bring one knight, so I took Jawil Wilson.”

“I saw him earlier at the training ground with a girl. Who is she?”

I had told Jawil Wilson to keep Lucien out of sight while my family was staying, but of all people, she had to run into Baron Byron.

I was momentarily flustered but tried hard to hide it.

“She’s Jawil Wilson’s niece who has no parents. Her situation was pitiful, so I allowed her to stay at the mansion.”

“Silver hair and silver eyes… anyone would believe she was my granddaughter.”

    “Haha… is that so?”

“Both my first and second sons are married, yet there’s no news of children… I suppose I’m not lucky when it comes to grandchildren.”

There’s only one reason why the first and second sons of the Alphonse family are being cautious about having children.

With everything focused on the succession dispute, pregnancy announcements are inevitably delayed.

“Why are you only thinking about my first and second brothers?”

At my question, Baron Byron stared at me and tilted his head.

“Don’t tell me you’re suggesting we marry off Miria Alphonse first?”

    “Yes, that’s right.”

“Hah… it would be faster to see grandchildren from my first or second sons. What madman would take my daughter?”

Even though she’s his own child, Baron Byron certainly seems to have a good objective view.

I smiled at the sighing Baron Byron.

“There are so many men in this world. Surely we can find a husband for my sister?”

“That would only be possible if she were a normal woman.”

“I’ve asked Federicks to look into it. Preferably someone who doesn’t know much about the Alphonse family.”

Though Baron Byron seemed to have given up, he was curious enough to glance at me sideways and listen quietly.

I thought, after all, what parent wouldn’t want their daughter to get married?

    “And then?”

“Federicks is narrowing down potential husbands. But I’d like to keep this a secret from my sister until everything is finalized.”

“Sigh… alright, if the third child can get married as you say, it would feel like a ten-year-old indigestion finally clearing up.”

“Yes, just leave it to me.”

Baron Byron slowly nodded, then paused as if something had occurred to him.

“Wait… come to think of it, your coming-of-age ceremony isn’t far off, is it?”

    “About half a year left.”

“Is there a woman you want to marry?”

“How could I think about that while stuck in exile?”

“Tsk, tsk… when you suddenly broke off your engagement with the Parseche family’s child, I thought you had someone else in mind.”

Once my life enters a safe period, I certainly plan to look for a good bride.

After all, isn’t the goal to live a sweet life with someone you love and have chubby children?

“Besides, how could I marry before my third sister and fourth brother who aren’t married yet?”

“These days, there’s no particular order. Other families don’t seem to care much about that either.”

“Haha, then I’ll think about it after finishing my exile first.”

“You keep bringing up exile whenever it’s disadvantageous to you. If I had known, I wouldn’t have sent you….”

All last night he was grinning from ear to ear about the gifts received from the Emperor, but now his senses have returned?

I took a step back from his increasing nagging and continued.

“By the way, when do you plan to return to the family?”

“Are you trying to send your father away already?”

    “I’m worried about mother.”

“You’re worried about your mother but not about your father who gets the cold shoulder every day for sending you into exile?”

His image now was clearly different from when I first met Baron Byron.

If he had seemed sturdy, boisterous, and beast-like then, now he gave off the impression of a lonely wolf.

Perhaps it was because I’d grown familiar enough with him that the word “father” now came naturally to my lips.

“Why didn’t you come with mother this time?”

“I asked her, but she said seeing you in exile would break her heart too much.”

What kind of person is Selden Alphonse’s mother?

Even in the original work, only Baron Byron was properly described, with no separate account of his wife.

    I was curious.

How much did she care for me that she wouldn’t even speak to the father who sent me into exile at first…

“When I return to the family, tell her I’ll bring lots of gifts.”

“Forget the gifts. Your mother will be overjoyed just to hear that you received gifts from His Majesty the Emperor.”

Just then, I heard someone running toward the reception room.

With such a weak presence, could it be Leonard?

    THUD!

Leonard burst through the door with a loud “BANG!” without even knocking.

His face was blackened as if he’d been doing something again.

    “F-Father!!”

As Leonard whimpered, Baron Byron’s eyebrows twitched.

“How old are you that you don’t even know how to knock?”

But Leonard, ignoring his father’s rebuke, raised his voice with an urgent expression.

“Th-there’s a dragon in the mansion!”
