    Ch.57Chapter 57 – The Organization

    “Y-you… What are you doing…”

    – Crack…

    “Aaaaaahhhhh!!!”

Colonel Heyter’s scream echoes around as his grotesquely twisted leg is stomped on.

    “Shh.”

    “…! ….!!”

Issac Adler, with a smiling eye, kicks the colonel in the stomach, instantly silencing him.

“…No matter how many times I see this, I can’t get used to it.”

The colonel, who had been writhing and trembling, hears Adler’s chilling voice and his eyes fill with terror.

“I really think being a programmer suited me best.”

    “Urgh…”

    “…Can’t be helped, I suppose.”

Adler’s gaze, with his face flushed from alcohol, was unbearably cold.

It was quite different from his well-known dissolute gaze, and from the somehow cute-looking eyes that had recently become popular among London women.

    “Given the situation.”

    “I, I was just… following Professor Jane Moriarty’s orders…”

“That’s information I’d rather not know.”

    “Gurk…”

As Adler placed his hand on the colonel’s head with that cold gaze, Colonel Heyter began foaming at the mouth, showing the whites of his eyes.

“…Actually, maybe I should have asked how far the professor had planned.”

    “………”

As he lost consciousness and collapsed, silence began to fill the surroundings.

    “Celestia… Moran, was it?”

In that silence, Issac Adler rises from his seat with eyes glowing red.

    “What a cute little lady.”

    – Tremble tremble…

He looks down at Moran, who is trembling while tightly hugging a sniper rifle, with a smile in his eyes.

    “How old are you?”

    “T-twelve years old.”

    “Hmm…”

And then, Adler quietly tilts his head.

“You’re the youngest form among the designs I reviewed.”

    “…….?”

    “I like it. I’m pleased.”

He wags his tail with a satisfied expression.

“My Curse surely wouldn’t reach such a young child.”

At his suspicious behavior, Moran begins to flinch, clutching her sniper rifle even tighter.

    “Is that your father’s keepsake?”

    “………!”

“I see it’s designed to shoot the air itself through an artificial circuit made of magic stone. Excellent. It’s an original method that doesn’t exist anywhere else in the world.”

    “How do you know that?”

She opens her mouth with wide eyes at Adler’s penetrating words.

    “Who knows.”

    “Are you a Demon?”

“Being a little girl, your question is quite innocent.”

Adler bursts into laughter at her round and cute appearance, and crouches down.

“No one in this world has ever dodged my shots twice.”

    “………”

“And you’re still alive after being shot in the head… plus that tail…”

“I’m not a Demon, but I can grant your wish.”

Moran, who had been muttering while backing away with a slightly frightened look, becomes dazed at those words.

    “Mr. Demon.”

    “I told you I’m not a Demon.”

And then, she mutters with dark eyes.

    “Please take my soul.”

    “…Why?”

“I want to go to hell.”

Hearing those words, Adler quietly gives a bitter smile.

    “I killed someone.”

    “I see.”

“I’ll probably be arrested and sent to prison soon.”

    “………”

“So I’ve already given up on going to heaven.”

Looking at her intently, Moran begins to mutter in a low voice.

“And my father always said that he would go to hell because he killed many people.”

    “Ah…”

“If I go to hell, I can meet my father again.”

Her dark eyes were blankly directed at Adler.

“Then I can kill my father one more time.”

“…What do you mean by that?”

“I’m the one who killed my father.”

Eventually, a bombshell statement leaks from her lips, which still look youthful but somehow worn.

“You’re saying you killed Colonel Sebastian Moran?”

“…Father always became a monster when he was drunk.”

    “Ah.”

“I had no choice if I didn’t want to be devoured by the monster.”

Adler, who had been looking at her with a slightly sympathetic gaze, twisted at such a young age, quietly reaches his hand toward Moran’s head.

    “…….!”

She flinches as she watches with a pale face, and unconsciously closes her eyes.

    – Rustle…

    “…….?”

But Issac Adler just smiles and gently strokes her head.

“Miss Moran is a bad girl.”

    “…Yes, I’m a bad child.”

At his words, Moran tilts her head and answers with what sounds like expectation.

“So, Mr. Demon, please take my soul…”

“But what should I do about this?”

However, Adler shakes his head and interrupts her mid-sentence.

“I just checked, and there’s still some purity left in your soul.”

“That can’t be. I killed someone.”

“Children’s souls are less damaged when they’re young.”

    “…Gasp.”

Hearing those words, Moran opens her mouth wide with a surprised expression.

“So if I take your soul now, you might go to heaven.”

    “N-no, that can’t happen.”

    “Would that be okay?”

Eventually, she shakes her head urgently.

“Hmm, what to do about this…”

Adler’s eyes, looking down at her cute appearance with satisfaction, quietly begin to glow.

    “…I have no choice.”

And then, he quietly begins to stroke her chubby cheek with his finger.

“Offer your soul, and become mine.”

    “………..”

    “Then, I will taint you.”

    Moran’s pupils begin to dilate.

“Become a shadow loyal only to me, an existence that eliminates approaching dangers.”

    “………”

“You’ll obviously get blood on your hands. Not just that. If you stay with me, you’ll be involved in all sorts of dirty work.”

Adler’s soft voice begins to pierce her ears.

“Probably for the rest of your life.”

    “………”

“A trained hunting dog that is loyal and obedient to its master, carrying out any order without question. That’s what I want.”

At his dark gaze, Moran begins to tremble slightly.

“Can Miss Moran become such an existence?”

    – Gulp…

“If you can, I’ll gladly taint your soul.”

The contract book that Adler had summoned was quietly floating in the air.

    “You’ll need to decide quickly.”

    – Issac!!

    “People are coming.”

Moran’s hand, which had been hovering in the air for a moment, slowly stretches forward.

    “…Will you feed me?”

Her timid question as she holds the pen.

“Good meals make for good hunting.”

At Adler’s matter-of-fact reply, her hand slowly begins to move.

    – Tzzzzzzz…

And how much time had passed? A familiar golden seal began to be engraved on Moran.

    “An excellent choice.”

Moran, who had been blankly staring at it after slightly lifting her top, blankly looks at Adler who brought his face close to hers.

“I’ll do my best to raise you well.”

    “…Mr. Demon.”

Then, she tilts her head and opens her mouth.

“The people coming here now, should I kill them?”

    “Haha…”

Hearing those words, Adler bursts into laughter and snaps his fingers.

    – Tzzzzzzz…

“…If you don’t want to die, let’s leave this place first.”

Then, Moran’s body begins to become transparent.

“I’m the only one who can handle those people.”

Adler, who had been staring at the silhouettes of Sharlotte Holmes and Jane Moriarty appearing in the distance, quietly raised the corners of his mouth and began to mutter.

    “…Probably.”

[Celestia Moran has become subordinate to you!]

The fruit of this incident was appearing before his eyes.

[More than 3 regular characters are subordinate to you.]

    [《Organization》 is established!]

    A few days later.

Night falls on a back alley in London as the sun sets.

    “…..Ugh.”

A girl with a blank expression was walking down that street, which even most heinous criminals would hesitate to enter, holding something carefully wrapped in newspaper.

    “Cold…..”

Then, she mutters glumly while rubbing her hands.

Although it was raining quite heavily, the girl was soaked like a drowned rat, walking without even a raincoat, let alone an umbrella.

    “Hey, kid.”

“Stop for a moment, will you?”

But as she was gritting her teeth and continuing to walk, suddenly some unpleasant voices were heard in front of her.

    “…What?”

    “Fearless little one, aren’t you?”

    “Hand over everything you’ve got.”

In the girl’s view as she raised her head, two thugs with knives appeared.

    “I don’t have anything.”

“Then you’ll have to pay with your body.”

“Are you serious? No matter how I look at it, that kid’s just a brat.”

“Idiot, I mean organs. Organs are higher quality the younger they are.”

After quietly listening to those words, the girl silently raises her finger.

    – Pwick…!

A moment later, two bodies silently fall face-down into a puddle.

    – Step, step…

After staring down at them for a while, the girl quietly steps over the corpses and continues walking.

    “Found it.”

The girl, who had been walking forward regardless of being covered in blood, suddenly stops and her eyes sparkle.

    – Knock knock knock…

And then, the girl begins to knock on the door of a shabby house.

    – Creeeeak…

As the door opens, a disheveled girl with messy hair enters the house, dripping blood and rainwater onto the floor.

    “Mr. Demon.”

And after looking around the house for a moment, she finds the blonde boy she had been searching for. Celestia Moran.

“As you ordered, I shook off the pursuit.”

She said with a bright smile.

    “……..Excuse me?”

But the blonde-haired man, Issac Adler, looks at Moran with a puzzled expression.

    “Who are you?”

As he speaks with genuine confusion, Moran’s bright smile freezes.

    “You promised.”

Tears begin to well up in her eyes.

    “…That you would taint me.”

At the astonished words that leaked from her mouth, silence begins to fall.

    “Master?”

    “Adler?”

The gazes of Silver Blaze, who was wagging her ears and tail while wearing a maid outfit behind Adler, and Lady Joanne Clay, who was wearing a collar and taking on the appearance of a Vampire, were all directed at Issac Adler.

    “…It’s a misunderstanding.”

    “”………..””

Eventually, the atmosphere begins to grow cold.

    “So Master had such tastes…”

“Go die, you piece of trash.”

“No, this is really a misunderstanding!”

The first meeting of the three executives who would later become Adler’s royal guard and wield great influence was not so smooth.
