Ch.5656. Encounter (1)
by fnovelpia
The Incarnation of the Black Sun was truly curious about the Supreme Being’s intentions.
Why would he side with the created beings?
Why did he dislike other constellations, who were essentially his own kind, so much?
Yet even in his apparent dislike, the fundamental texture of his inner emotions was somewhat different.
If it had been pure hatred from beginning to end, the Black Sun and the Star Child wouldn’t have been able to remain by his side.
Therefore, as time passed, the Black Sun began to feel that their relationship was no longer a thorny path—
But something more special and unstable.
However, the Incarnation of the Black Sun sensed an inexplicable emptiness and loneliness from the Supreme Being’s true form.
The powerful were inherently solitary beings.
Though the Incarnation of the Black Sun hadn’t witnessed it directly at the time, he remembered the scene of the great holy war.
The image of him fighting against the outer god summoned by a foolish constellation, with the continued existence of the world of Dianon at stake—
‘Someone like me.’
Though he was currently living an unstable life due to the Supreme Being’s machinations, if he had truly wanted to be hostile toward him.
He certainly wouldn’t have survived.
‘Somehow I need to get into his good graces.’
He surely hadn’t forgotten the fact that I attacked his believer.
That fact would clearly continue to hinder the Incarnation of the Black Sun’s wishes in any “requests” that might come later.
He needed a massive event that could overshadow such a sin.
Hating yet wanting to keep close, showing disgust yet seeking familiarity.
He still couldn’t understand the Supreme Being’s intentions.
‘What exactly are you?’
Constellations are curious beings.
Therefore, he wanted to use this opportunity to learn more about him.
That would be the only way to secure his position.

Five apostles of the constellations had come to Dungeon City.
All of them were human.
It wasn’t strange, considering that Dianon’s worldview was heavily influenced by humans.
“Whatever method they’ve used, I can’t determine their names.”
The Lens of Truth would immediately allow tracking, but that would only work if they came within its range.
‘Just a little more.’
Our Black Abyss believer was doing an excellent job persuading them with her eloquent speech.
The five believers were hesitating, but gradually beginning to listen to her words.
“Why should we believe what you’re saying?”
“If it were a lie, I wouldn’t have bothered to approach you.”
Ragnis, wearing a mask, pointed toward the checkpoint to add credibility to her words.
“…No. If you know about us, you might have other motives.”
“Why don’t you just reveal your identity? This is too unfair.”
Ragnis hesitated briefly, then asked her constellation.
‘What should I do?’
“Show them for now.”
Ragnis is a believer of my alternate persona, ‘Black Abyss.’
Her divine power was designed specifically to entice them.
Therefore, even if she showed her face, there was no risk of arousing suspicion—only gaining trust.
Swish.
Following my instructions, Ragnis slowly removed her mask, revealing her bare face.
Behind the rough mask was the distinctive beauty of an elf.
A quiet stir arose among the apostles when they saw this.
“Never thought I’d see an elf here.”
The white-haired apostle spoke first.
“But don’t elves traditionally serve the Incarnation of the World Tree? The divine power I sense from you feels quite different.”
“That’s because I serve a different constellation.”
“Is that even possible?”
Ragnis didn’t bother to answer.
Her very existence before their eyes was the reason.
“I am Ragnis, a believer serving Black Abyss.”
“Black Abyss…?”
The apostles looked puzzled at the unfamiliar name.
“Anyway, why are you helping us?”
“I’ll guide you to the deepest part of the dungeon and give you an artifact that can end the Supreme Being.”
“Why don’t you use it yourself?”
“The revelation I received was only to ‘guide’ you.”
Our constellation told me to do it that way, any objections?
When Ragnis provided this convenient excuse, the apostles raised no further questions.
“You need to enter the dungeon, and I need to guide you. Isn’t that enough?”
“Hmm…”
As the white-haired apostle pondered, the large priest beside him finally opened his tightly closed mouth.
“Let’s proceed for now.”
“…?”
“If this believer’s words turn out to be false, we can adjust our plans then. Our objective is to enter the dungeon.”
“I agree.”
Another apostle supported the man’s statement.
Time is money.
Having received direct orders from their constellations, the apostles needed to act quickly.
“Tch, this makes me look like the weird one.”
“Aren’t you, though?”
“…?”
The white-haired apostle surveyed her companions.
“…”
One priest subtly avoided her gaze.
Anyway, following the principle of majority rule, the five apostles decided to follow Ragnis’s guidance into the dungeon.
“That’s right!”
Watching the situation, I immediately began manipulating the dungeon system.
Numerous adventurers were still actively engaged in dungeon conquest.
“There must be a reason for this.”
While clicking my tongue at their madness, I continued to prevent them from reaching the center of the dungeon.
「Incarnation of the Black Sun: If they get caught up in this—」
“It would be troublesome for me.”
My targets are the apostles with constellation divine power, not innocent sacrificial lambs.
“Contact with other divine powers might affect the regression.”
「Incarnation of the Black Sun: We need to do something before those believers enter.」
“Exactly.”
「Child of the Lost Star: Is it possible?」
“Absolutely possible.”
All I needed to do was summon another portal separate from the dungeon entrance currently in use.
「Child of the Lost Star: That works?」
“Why wouldn’t it?”
「Child of the Lost Star: Wouldn’t that normally affect the magical circulation of the dungeon and risk collapse?」
At the Star Child’s concern, my gaze turned to the dungeon system.
-Ding!
「Reward has been received.」
「You can create a new portal in your dungeon, limited to one time only.」
「The newly created portal will function ‘safely’ without any risk.」
That’s what it says.
「Would you like to consume some divine power to create a new portal?」
“Seems fine to me.”
「Child of the Lost Star: Interesting. You already had a solution?」
“Something like that.”
「Child of the Lost Star: I understand.」
When I said that, the Star Child agreed without a moment’s hesitation.
It seemed he had no intention of ruining our plans at this point.
“Well then.”
「Consuming divine power to create a new portal!」
-Whoosh!
Near the dungeon entrance crowded with adventurers—
I created a temporary entrance in a secluded location for Ragnis and the five apostles to use.
「Using revelation on Black Abyss’s believer, ‘Ragnis’.」
The operation was proceeding smoothly.
Finally.
“Here it is.”
Ragnis and the five priests arrived at the newly created dungeon entrance.

「Title: Oh FFS
(Photo of dungeon entrance marked with red danger level)
-Was this made to be cleared?
└Just don’t clear it
└Why is this guy still obsessing over clearing even here?
└Seriously; that’s what’s so infuriating about it」
「Title: Don’t blame me for getting a bad constellation again
(Photo of dungeon failure)
(Photo of believers crying after failing)
-Is it my fault?
Is it my fault that I took 3-star believers into a high-risk dungeon?
Why are you looking at me like that?
(Photo of angry frog shouting)
I want to stay with you all forever!!!
└Holy shit that’s madness too lol
└Rabung, you’ll kill all your believers at this rate, just leave them alone
└Doesn’t this guy have any pickup characters?
└He does but I like these ones~
└This guy’s just crazy
└They call him Ra-psycho~」

-Finally…!
Five constellations who had agreed to join forces after being persuaded by the Incarnation of the Black Sun.
Some cowards had decided to back out, but the current situation with fewer competitors was more welcome.
A constellation watching the dungeon entrance through their believer responded with deep anticipation.
-We have five top-tier constellations on our side. We could face even a decent army.
-Two hours should be enough. After that, we’ll have the key to becoming the strongest constellations in the world.
-I don’t care about anything else, I just want to drive out that Supreme Being.
They watched their believers entering the dungeon, each carrying their own wishes.
To a constellation’s eyes, the sight of their believers in action was as small and insignificant as observing pet insects.
To be honest, they couldn’t even remember their faces properly.
For them, believers were like parts that could be replaced at any time.
-By the way, that believer is quite capable.
One constellation’s gaze turned to the elf guiding the apostles.
-An elf, huh. He wouldn’t have willingly let his children go.
The constellations knew well about the Incarnation of the World Tree.
A constellation with a terrible disposition who cherished his few believers dearly and would rather kill them than let them go.
-Maybe I should kidnap a few elves and make them my believers too.
-Non-human races are valuable. They used to be common, but now it’s the age of human dominance.
-Perhaps the reason for her efficiency is due to her race.
As they were evaluating the believer’s worth among themselves and continuing to watch—
-Crackle…
-…?
-What’s wrong?
-Just now, something felt off.
-That’s impossible. Not even the Supreme Being can penetrate this place.
After momentarily feeling an inexplicable anxiety, they dismissed it as imagination and refocused on their believers’ situation.
「Searching for target…」
「Search successful!」
「Entering the ‘World of Void’!」
「Hidden entities are revealing themselves.」
「’Walker of the Night Sky’ has been discovered.」
「’Emissary of the Sun’ has been discovered.」
「’Reassembler of Chaos’ has been discovered.」
「’Forgotten Wisdom’ has been discovered.」
「’Eternal Sculptor’ has been discovered.」
“Found them.”
