Unlike the Grand Crosses in other faction territories that were either defeated so easily or brutally pummeled…

The Grand Cross in the Central Zone was in a completely different situation.

There’s a lot to unpack here, but to summarize it…

**Title**: Other zones are already talking about beating up their Grand Cross, but…

Why are we still getting one-sidedly beaten up?

As that gallery post indicates, the biggest problem was the lack of a “center” to formulate and execute a grand strategy.

Of course, even in the chaotic Central Zone, there were users who had formed factions, and they were indeed trying to do something in their own way, but…

Users in other zones either used decoy operations to chip away at the Grand Cross’s forces,

Or because of the Grand Cross’s location, they delivered it right to their faction’s headquarters and quickly took it down.

But in the Central Zone, they lost their bases right from the start trying to do that,

And when the fleets that were supposed to raid scattered in all directions to save themselves, the forces for siege warfare completely disappeared.

Of course, we could try additional attacks, but users kept hesitating until the main cannon cooldown ended.

When the main cannon cooldown resets after losing a base, if users launch an offensive…

How should I put this? Unlike other zones…

Instead of users committing in large numbers, they attacked in frustratingly small groups, so far from breaking through defense lines, they just got beaten up and driven away.

And while users were dithering and hesitating like that, the shipyards inside the Grand Cross successfully completed their defensive fleet,

Now they’re sending out their remaining forces and conducting an all-directional invasion.

Unfortunately, for Central Zone users, the lack of a center to present a grand strategy was a problem that went beyond simply not being able to decide where and how to attack.

As other zones kept asking “Why can’t the Central Zone do it?”, the answer was:

I’m posting this again because many people still don’t get it despite being shown multiple times

Unlike what you think, in the Central Zone, no single faction represents the will of all users

Moreover, the proportion of individuals or small clans not affiliated with any faction is much higher

The largest single factions, Icarus and the Central Base Federation, each have fewer than 10,000 affiliated users

The 8 medium-sized clans combined barely exceed 10,000

Remember that there are at least 50,000 pure individual users who aren’t affiliated even with small clans

There are also federations formed by users who just claimed bases, and the Free Legion clan formed only by Central users, making it a peculiar world in many ways

    **Comments**:

    -[Was it that bad?]

    -[Honestly, it’s a mess]

    -[This is ridiculous]

-[How can there be so much division with that population?]

**Title**: Why you shouldn’t criticize the Central Zone right now

If any of you want to bring Central Zone users to raid the Grand Cross right now, you need to overcome the following conditions:

    1. First, you need to reach consensus among the scattered major Central factions as mentioned in the post above

The problem is that during this process, the ‘Free Legion’ and ‘Central Base Federation’ are completely opposite groups,

And the 8 medium-sized clans are also hostile to each other, which you’ll have to deal with yourself

Well, the Icarus Kingdom (correction: now a Republic, apparently) might be somewhat willing to follow

    2. After unifying the opinions of user groups, you now need to bring in the small clans

But these small clans are treated as separate forces with their own territories, so you can’t treat them as one group

If you try that, instead of these clans uniting to take down the Grand Cross, they’ll take you down first

    3. Let’s say you somehow succeeded with the small clans

Now finally, you need to persuade and mobilize the “solo players” who are the numerical majority

    That’s how it is

    **Comments**:

-[Damn, your head would be spinning from politics before even starting the raid]

-[You missed something here – if you try to grab just a little more power, your base and fleet get torched]

-˪[What the hell is the problem?]

-˪[They’re the embodiment of extreme individualism]

-[And even after doing all that, everyone scatters like crazy when the event ends]

    -˪[Central Zone expert right here;;]

To summarize briefly, unless you engage in “Central Zone-style politics,” it’s impossible to gather enough forces to deal with the Grand Cross.

Users from other zones realized that in the Central Zone, even the most basic requirement for facing a powerful boss – “concentration of forces” – was practically impossible.

Moreover, in the current Central Zone, there was another serious problem besides the political issues…

**Title**: Why are so many people missing the real problem in the Central Zone right now?

    **Author**: Anonymous

**Content**: [Image of results showing ‘solo’ users suffering heavy losses in Event Phase 1]

Politics aside, how can you miss why Central Zone users are struggling so much?

In Phase 2, base users mostly lost mercenary corps or faction detachments, which can be quickly contracted, supplied, and trained within a week

But in Phase 1, solo players lost their main forces and bases

The problem is incomplete ship restoration

In case you forgot, repairing heavily damaged battleships takes a week

But for solo players, not only do they need to repair ships, but their “bases” were also destroyed, requiring additional repair time

    So what can they do?

It’s no coincidence that the only users currently attacking the Grand Cross are base-docking users who suffered less damage in Phases 1-2

The real solo players are all avoiding combat and holed up in their bases for good reason

    **Comments**:

    -[Not easy;;]

-[They’re doing this even though they’re dragging it out so long that internal defense fleets are emerging again?]

    -˪[That’s a different issue]

-˪[Well, from solo players’ perspective, it’s about time for base-docking users to take some damage too]

    -˪[Damn, we got damaged too;;]

    -[What a complete mess]

    That’s right.

“It seems other commanders suffered more damage than I imagined.”

    “…Hmm, I hadn’t considered base restoration either.”

As those users pointed out, the fleet loss rate among the “solo” users, who make up the largest number in the Central Zone, was extremely high.

The recovery of their forces was proceeding much more slowly than base users like myself had anticipated.
