But long, long ago.

The nonsensical trade items of national secret weapons that many people used under the name of “Elementary School Notebook” didn’t last very long.

The reason was obvious—due to excessive nonsense making information acquisition impossible, there was a large-scale purge by furious users with moderator privileges.

    Yeah.

    Let’s tone it down, folks.

Nonsense is only fun in moderation.

If you post nonsense just because others are doing it,

from everyone else’s perspective, it’s just repeated garbage.

    Comments:

-[As expected from the Justice Clan]

-[Isn’t this too lenient for people trying to contaminate the database?]

-˪[The truly malicious ones were caught and dealt with by other moderators long ago](Author)

    -˪[I see]

    -[Moderator working haaaard]

And besides dealing with them in such “benevolent” ways, there were also cases of users getting 15-day bans without any discussion.

As a result of these users being purged, the analysis of enemy forces for the event naturally normalized.

Anyway, with users working hard like this, exercising collective intelligence while purging trolls, and somehow extracting memories from senile veteran players…

By the night before the event started, they were finally able to produce a somewhat plausible analysis.

Title: Deluxe Version of Ancient Empire Ship Specifications Made by Grinding Senile Veterans and Demons

    Author: Machu Picchu

Content: [Image of a toad waving a magic wand]

First, I’d like to express my sincere gratitude to the many anonymous users and nonsense-posters,

as well as the poor veterans and demons who had their brains drained.

The enemies in this event, since the boss is truly a boss, are highly likely to be in the “Ancient Empire” style.

But apparently the Ancient Empire’s small ships are somewhat inferior?

I didn’t know this, but their characteristic is that they’re “weaker” than regular-grade ships.

The setting is that they make up for it with numbers, so users with gacha ships should be able to slaughter them without major issues.

The problem is the large ships.

Since the Ancient Empire is the technological foundation of the 4 major factions in the setting, their flagship seems to be a mix of the 4 major factions’ performance, each cut by 20-30%.

Plus, being an unmanned drone fleet, their maneuverability is insanely good.

Literally, they can be considered the strongest in fleet battles.

    But they’re not without weaknesses.

First, being unmanned drones, their handling is actually worse than the NPC fleets we’ve faced so far.

And this might be really important:

Since they’re ships specialized for fleet battles, their anti-air capabilities are ridiculously weak.

Small ships often have only one CIWS or none at all, and their VLS only carries anti-ship missiles.

    Comments:

-[Why start by killing veterans right away;;]

-[This is interesting. So now the Laflesia I-class ships will shine?]

-[Time for carrier mains to get excited?]

-˪[Not really, they’re saying if you kill the carriers before their aircraft can attack, that’s it]

    -˪[Oh damn]

-[Why did you leave out the part where their fleet battle capability is increased to compensate for reduced anti-air?]

-[Aren’t there Ancient Empire ships that can grant stealth abilities to surrounding ships?]

-˪[Apparently those aren’t unmanned ships but available through user gacha, so they left them out]

    -˪[I see]

And although this result was ultimately just a patchwork of user rumors and brain theories…

A hodgepodge sewn together from previous event experiences without much nutritional value…

Regardless of the quality, what mattered was that users showed some teamwork by crushing the pranksters and accomplishing something.

    -[Hal su idda woong]

-[Ah, it’s too bothersome, just do everything for me, Veteran-mon]

    -˪[Jjukgu, go die]

They laughed among themselves, engaging in strange self-congratulation that “we worked pretty hard on this.”

And finally, on the morning of the event…

…for some reason, the event notice still hadn’t been posted.

-˪[Why the hell would you imagine it that way?]

    -˪[Why? Because… it’s fun]

As a result, some users who couldn’t accept the sudden delay became aggressive.

Or they shouted “These users want quick and convenient updates!”…

They showed violent reactions, including posting threatening messages openly in the gallery.

Of course, these lunatics who tried to cause chaos ended up, exactly 59 seconds after posting such content…

-˪[Probably because they’re staying in the Central Zone now]

They were thoroughly destroyed by high-ranked players who were standing by to collect proper information as soon as the event started.

Well, that certainly turned out well.

And right after hanging these trolls out to dry, the real event notice we’d all been waiting for popped up.

The users, including myself, instantly forgot about the trolling that had just happened and started focusing on the event update.
