Chapter Index

    One small problem remained, however…

“By the way, Griyanar, you managed to find quite the gift box.”

“Huh? That? No, no, I made that a while back.”

    “I see…”

“I originally made it to get inside myself, but since things turned out this way, I decided to give it to Jessica as a gift.”

The superhumans’ plan was simply to put Jessica in a box and send her over.

The problem was that when Professor Grigri heard “gift box,” she brought her special living-gift box that she had intended to use herself.

“Wait, what do you mean you were going to get inside it?”

“I made it to catch intruders who might infiltrate the base!”

“They’d fall for just a box?”

“Yeah, it only looks like a box, but it’s actually a kind of mimetic life form.”

    “…what does that even mean?”

To make matters worse, the box was designed to disguise itself as a “normal box” under ordinary circumstances, but when something entered it, it would transform like a “mimic”…

So when our Icarus received and opened the delivered box…

    “Nnnggghhh!!”

    “Whooaaa?!”

He was horrified to see Jessica completely bound (to prevent her from escaping mid-delivery).

The disguise inside had been deactivated, revealing Jessica surrounded by writhing tentacles and slimy friends.

    ———-

    A little while later.

    “Uuuuugh…”

“What on earth were you thinking being in there?”

Looking at Jessica who had finally cleaned up and returned to normal after appearing as though she’d been inside a frog’s salivary gland…

I couldn’t help but tilt my head in confusion, wondering why Jessica had suddenly been subjected to such an ordeal when it wasn’t even Griyanar’s doing.

    And hearing my words…

With all her usual clothes in the wash, Jessica was wearing only a robe. She twitched her distinctive rabbit ears while blushing, unable to hide her embarrassment.

    “W-well, you see…”

“Don’t tell me Griyanar played a prank on you? That would be too much.”

When Jessica couldn’t immediately respond and tried to brush it off, I assumed this was one of Grigri’s tasteless pranks.

Without thinking, I grabbed her rabbit ears that were spinning wildly as she tried to dry her wet fur. I tried to calmly question Jessica to understand the situation.

But in response to my question, our bunny-bunny Jessica…

    “Umm… th-that’s… I-I don’t dislike it…”

    “Huh?”

“A-actually, I wanted to with you, Commander… um, yeah.”

Her face turned as red as a radish as she tapped her index fingers together.

Eventually, she laid her fluttering rabbit ears back and spoke to me in an uncharacteristically tiny voice.

“This is really hard to say, but actually…”

    “Yes?”

“Commander, w-would you like to… do it with me too…?”

Despite her shy voice, her hands were already opening her bathrobe.

As a result, my vision was filled with her glamorous figure, fragrant with the scent of shampoo from her recent bath…

Seeing Jessica transformed into the very embodiment of sensuality, blushing deeply yet giving me a seductive smile.

    I nodded briefly at Jessica’s appearance, then…

    *Swish!*

    “Eep?! C-Commander?”

“I realized something while doing it plenty with Marian recently—I’m a man of stamina even without Griyanar’s medicine.”

    “O-oh, is that so…”

“So Jessica, if I accept your feelings and thoroughly explore your body… I won’t show mercy even if you beg while crying, okay?”

“…That’s exactly what I want, especially since, Commander…”

    “Hmm?”

“Rabbits as a species are in heat 365 days a year, all the time… ♡”

    “Oh.”

I lifted up Jessica, now in her birthday suit, and immediately dove toward the bed in my room.

And from that beginning, Jessica and I spent an even longer time than Marian’s first day…

…no, much longer than her first experience—a full 5 days trying every position and play possible in human form.

During that time, Jessica experienced approximately 54 instances of fainting and 128 climaxes.

It was an absolutely incredible time.

Unfortunately, because of Griyanar’s previous antics being discovered, all surveillance cameras and any devices capable of recording “video” had been removed from my room…

So after 5 days, all the other superhumans could see was Jessica, who had been completely secluded for two days citing poor condition.

    “Jessica, Jessicaaaaa!!!”

“Why is the Commander acting like that?”

“Because with Jessica gone, he has to handle all the administrative work himself as Commander.”

    “Ah, I see.”

    “Jessicaaaaaaaa!!!”

Since Jessica couldn’t move as she was in the recovery room healing holes that wouldn’t close…

All they could see was me, mentally broken from having to do all of Jessica’s work at once, crying out for her.

    ———-

Meanwhile, as Commander Icarus was absent from his post, the superhumans were just maintaining the status quo.

Within the Leviathan Squadron, unexpected complaints were about to erupt.

And what were these complaints about?

“Admiral, doesn’t this hurt your pride?”

    “…”

“Commander Icarus was one of the causes of the Federation’s downfall, wasn’t he?!”

It wasn’t about anything else, but rather about frustrations that had been building up without any chance for resolution due to how busy everyone had been.

The complaint was: “Why are we helping someone who attacked the Federation?”

And as if to prove these complaints were about to explode, when such comments were directed even at Admiral Lanka, who had physically blown off the head of the Security Council Chairman…

Admiral Lanka first “dealt with” the person who dared mention this to her face according to military law.

After quickly suppressing the dissidents with her personal guards, she shook her head, cut the end of her favorite cigar, lit it, and spoke.

“Ignorant fools. Commander Icarus was simply conducting business as a mercenary.”

    “Is that so?”

“Of course, it was literally business done for money. It’s not like we haven’t seen commanders do such things before.”

After saying this, Admiral Lanka took a long drag from her cigar and exhaled, her eyes reflecting a truly cold and rational intellect.

“But the fact remains that he attacked us, doesn’t it?”

“He wasn’t attacking us with some purpose like those Humanity bastards—he was simply trying to obtain resources.”

    “Hmm…”

“That’s why when we were defeated by Humanity and fled here requesting surrender, he accepted us without hostility.”

In response to Admiral Lanka’s words, an officer who had been dragged in by the guards shook his head again in objection.

But Admiral Lanka just gave a hollow laugh at the officer’s reaction.

“But Admiral, right after we came through the Tannhäuser gate, Commander Icarus’s fleet surrounded us in a hostile manner, didn’t they?”

“If someone had launched Dreadnoughts and other ships at you before even meeting, would you respond kindly?”

    “…”

Seeing the officer unable to counter her argument and remaining silent, Admiral Lanka took another drag from her cigar, exhaled, then stubbed out the still-long cigar in an ashtray before delivering a brief but powerful message.

“This matter should have been taught to all officers from training school, but you are truly incompetent.”

    “What do you—!”

“Have you forgotten the unwritten rule between factions that there should be no retaliatory actions regarding the ‘commanders” mercenary activities?”

    “…”

“He caused us serious damage? That just means he’s an excellent mercenary, so we should hire him ourselves.”

    “…”

“Anyway, I don’t think there’s anything more to discuss, so dismiss him now.”

    “Yes, Admiral Lanka.”

    “Wait, just a moment!”

After giving orders to “purge” the officer who seemed to have belatedly realized the reality of his situation…

Admiral Lanka turned around and gazed at the “Tannhäuser” visible through the window, lost in thought.

‘Does he understand this situation completely and is now testing us by not responding at all… You’re someone who cannot be ignored, Commander Icarus.’

    ———-

While Admiral Lanka was having these mysterious misunderstandings…

Our protagonist Icarus was simply giving Jessica a “new tail” and then doing a “3, 2, 1, go shoot!”

They were just engaging in intense, sticky rabbit-style heat nyaa-nyaa with each other.
