The next morning.

I woke up experiencing what could only be described as a refreshing “good morning,” just like always.

Munching on the simple toast provided by the base’s chefs, I decided to enjoy my pleasant commute to the command center.

And as soon as I settled into my dedicated command seat, Jessica approached me as she always did.

“Commander, here are today’s daily quests.”

    “Hmm.”

“And here’s your morning coffee to wake you up, no cream or sugar.”

“The same juicy menu as always.”

I nodded with satisfaction at her familiar routine of introducing the daily quests and bringing my morning beverage.

After spending such an ordinary morning, I looked outside through the massive window in the command center…

    -Kueeeng!

    -Kieeeeek!

    -Kieeng!

I could see three Krakens, including the newly recruited one, floating peacefully together…

    -Kwaddeuddeuk!

    -Kwadeuk!

    -Kwajijik!

    “Oh…”

“They’re eating their food quite opportunely this morning.”

…Actually, I could see the three of them latched onto the side of a passing independent pirate battleship, gnawing away at it like a pod of orcas hunting a shark.

To be precise, right next to the vessels the Krakens were eating, Marian’s pirate alliance fleet was detaining independent pirate ships.

And once the Krakens finished eating the ships, they would send over the detained vessels as food. What a sight.

    “What is that, omakase?”

    “What’s that, Commander?”

    “…It’s a thing.”

Obviously, since this kind of situation couldn’t happen inside the base, the entire process was taking place outside Tannhäuser.

As a result, this scene was visible to all users who were either docked at Tannhäuser or living nearby…

Title: Holy shit, the Pirate Alliance is doing omakase for the Krakens at Tannhäuser

    Author: Anonymous

Content: [Image of three Krakens tossing away the shell of what used to be a heavy battleship, while Pirate Alliance salvage ships drag a new vessel over.jpg]

    This is real

When the three Krakens finish eating, they collect the armor plates themselves, then feed them another detained ship

Watching the Krakens eat feels like watching someone devour lobster, it’s a weird feeling

The last image is just the three Kraken sisters sharing a battleship

    Why am I posting this?

Honestly, just so you all can see it

It’s kind of like watching a YouTube pet video, so watch it for some healing

Watching the unexpected Kraken mukbang taking place in real-time first thing in the morning,

I could see an unusual trend of Kraken healing content(??) becoming popular in the gallery, especially among Tannhäuser users.

And as I watched their feeding, I decided to stuff the rest of my toast into my mouth.

    ==========

Anyway, after finishing my breakfast while watching the three Krakens’ mukbang.

“Jessica, where is Marian right now?”

“She had some business with the Pirate Alliance, so she should be at Eclipse.”

“Then contact the fleet providing the food and tell them they can stop feeding the ships now.”

    “Already? Why?”

“Well, numbers 1 and 2 are fine… but looking at number 3’s belly, he’s just about to overeat.”

    “I see.”

After contacting the Pirate Alliance to end the Krakens’ mealtime since overeating debuff was imminent,

I could see numbers 1 and 2 dragging number 3 away with their tentacles as he whined for more food like a growing child. I decided it was time to check on the fleet status.

    But first…

“Oh right, Jessica, for today’s daily quest, tell Tiamat to take the Krakens out to help with their digestion.”

    “Yes, Commander.”

As always, I ordered the WWE—no, the daily quest to proceed first.

After taking care of all the immediate tasks, I leisurely opened the fleet status…

    —————————————–

The “points exceeding the limit” clearly displayed there, along with the “battleship” occupying a spot in the middle, was getting on my nerves.

    ==========

During the Xenovia Empire’s invasion last time.

Betraying the belief that “bigger ships are always right!” which every user holds dear,

I was quite irritated by the pathetic display of battlecruisers and battleships getting penetrated like soft tofu and sunk.

So I not only abandoned plans for additional battlecruisers and battleships but also decided to dismantle the remaining ones.

Since resource supply was now sufficient without needing to run a separate resource fleet, I planned to scrap everything except the minimum needed for emergencies.

And in their place, apart from one armor-reinforced heavy battleship for temporary tanking, I decided to go all-in on destroyers.

The problem was, as shown in the fleet status window, contrary to my plan, one “battleship” was still occupying a spot.

The reason for this was none other than the unexpected appearance of Kraken #3.

    “Ah, things have gotten complicated.”

    “What do you mean, Commander?”

    “No, it’s just something.”

Originally, I had planned to dismantle that battleship too and fill the remaining space with destroyers focused on evasion and anti-air capabilities…

But right in the middle of mass-producing destroyers, events like “Astral Expo” and “4th Anniversary” happened one after another.

As a result, I forgot about dismantling the battleship, being busy focusing on the events.

Naturally, without additional orders from me as their commander, the base personnel only proceeded with repairing the ships already under construction and those of my direct mercenary groups including the Rhodes mercenary unit…

Thanks to that, the one surviving battleship ended up waiting at the docking facility because there was no space left in the shipyard.

Of course, if there hadn’t been any other issues, I would have remembered to dismantle the battleship after finishing the events.

Then I would have eagerly started building new destroyers in the remaining point slots…

    ‘But then, a Kraken appeared.’

    That’s right.

During the 4th Anniversary event, the miracle(?) of getting pregnant with—no, obtaining a third unexpected Kraken occurred.

As a result, the fleet points suddenly exceeded the limit, throwing my plans into disarray…

Even if we dismantled our battleship friend, we couldn’t reverse the fact that we had already far exceeded the limit.
