“S-secretary?”
“Yes, I’m hiring you as my secretary.”
Silver Blaze pricks up her ears while wiping away tears at Issac Adler’s gentle voice.
“I’ve already retired my former employees. It’s about time I hired someone new.”
“B-but… all I can do is run.”
She mumbles with a slightly frightened expression.
“I-I haven’t learned anything… I’m not even good at arithmetic. I wonder if someone like me could work well as your secretary…”
“Miss Blaze.”
Adler chuckles and whispers quietly while still embracing her.
“Of course, the secretary title is just for show.”
“Then…”
“Didn’t you want to be kept by me, Miss Blaze?”
At those words, Silver Blaze, who had been wearing a blank expression, hastily nods her head.
“For certain reasons, I live in my office rather than the dormitory.”
“Ah…”
“It’s such a quiet place that I get bored when I’m alone. So I was thinking of keeping a pet…”
Adler suddenly thought of Lady Clay who had turned into a cat, but quickly dismissed it as a stuffed animal and continued.
“Would you be my pet there?”
“…Yes!”
Silver Blaze’s eyes light up as she burrows into Adler’s arms.
“Really?”
“It’s my wish…”
“Hmm.”
Looking down at her with a slightly pitying gaze, Adler quietly strokes Silver Blaze’s hair and asks a question.
“Think carefully.”
“….?”
“Once you make this choice, you can never change it.”
His eyes gleamed slightly darker.
“If you change your mind now, you can live freely for the rest of your life.”
“I don’t want that.”
“But once you choose to become my pet, you’ll never be able to escape.”
“………”
“Because at that moment, you’ll be surrendering your human rights to me.”
Silver Blaze stares at him intently as Adler’s demeanor changes.
“And I tend to be a bit possessive.”
She shivers at Adler’s low voice.
“Honestly, I don’t understand.”
Noticing that her trembling was from anticipation rather than fear, Adler smiles bitterly and asks:
“You’ve been running hard all this time to be liberated, haven’t you?”
“Yes.”
“So why do you want to be subordinate to me now?”
Hearing this, Silver Blaze quietly smiles.
“I wanted freedom for the werebeasts, but I never wanted freedom for myself.”
“That’s just wordplay…”
“Unlike the werebeasts from the alleys, I was born for horse racing and am more accustomed to being raised by someone.”
Adler quietly makes a sympathetic expression at her words.
“If someone like me goes out into society, what could I possibly do?”
“…If you want, I can help you. To adapt to society.”
“Haa.”
Just as he was speaking sincerely, Silver Blaze suddenly sighs.
*Squeeze*
And then, staring directly into Adler’s eyes, she embraces him.
“…Miss Blaze?”
Despite her delicate appearance, her grip strength and muscle power were on a different level from humans, causing Adler to look slightly bewildered.
“It was the first time in my life,” Silver Blaze begins speaking to him in a low voice.
“That someone treated me kindly.”
“There must have been others besides me…”
“That was my dream.”
Her gaze somehow looked different from before.
“The reason I ran so hard all this time, the reason I thought werebeasts should be liberated, was simply because I wanted someone to treat me kindly.”
As she steps forward in that state, Adler staggers backward while still embracing her.
“When my dream is right in front of me, why should I go out into a society full of variables?”
Silver Blaze whispers in his ear in a low voice.
“…Just raise me.”
And then silence falls.
“What?”
When Silver Blaze tilts her head and urges a response, Adler scratches his head for a moment before smiling and opening his mouth.
“If that’s truly your wish.”
“Mr. Adler…”
“No.”
Then, quietly shaking his head, Adler corrects her words.
“From now on, call me Master.”
Silver Blaze’s face turns bright red up to her ears.
“…Master.”
With that, she bows her head deeply and begins to wag her tail and ears.
‘…I must have been mistaken earlier?’
Seeing her cute appearance, Adler thought that Silver Blaze’s strange behavior from earlier must have been his imagination. Just as he was smiling while stroking her head—
[Silver Blaze submits to you.]
A message appeared before his eyes.
[Her heart will never change in the future.]
As he tilted his head in confusion, a message he hadn’t seen since arriving in this world appeared before him.
[Conquest complete!]
“…Huh.”
Cold sweat began to form on his forehead as he suddenly realized he had conquered a character who wasn’t even a main character.

A few minutes later.
“Then, go to the academy.”
“…Yes!”
“If you explain the situation to the professor, he will give you a place.”
“Understood!”
When Adler, having released her from their embrace, said this, Silver Blaze nodded with shining eyes.
*Fluff*
Then, suddenly raising her fluffy tail to cover Adler’s face.
“You smell like Miss Blaze.”
“…Is that a good thing?”
“How could your scent be anything but good?”
“…Heehee.”
Then, fidgeting with her fingers as if expecting something, she lowers her tail after hearing Adler’s answer, making a peculiar laughing sound.
“Recently, werebeasts from various regions have been contacting me.”
Then, with a shy expression, Silver Blaze wraps her tail around Adler’s arm.
“I’m organizing them with my comrades, so please wait a little.”
Her demeanor changes momentarily, just like before.
“…I will offer London to you, Master.”
After whispering quietly in that state, Silver Blaze slowly unwraps her tail from his arm and turns to leave.
“…Was that a dream?”
As she moved away from him, she turned her head and smiled with her original expression, causing Adler to rub his eyes for a moment.
“It seems not.”
“…Ah.”
Startled by a voice from beside him, he turns his gaze.
“You’ve changed your methods, I see?”
“Miss Lestrade.”
“What are you plotting?”
Zia Lestrade was glaring at him with cold, suspicious eyes.
“I only did what you wanted.”
“What do you mean?”
After staring blankly at her for a moment, Adler cleared his throat and began to speak.
“Didn’t you tell me not to touch any other woman in exchange for dating you?”
“I did. And you just…”
“So you wanted me to behave as I originally would?”
“…I didn’t want that, but honestly, I expected it.”
“That would go against our promise.”
As he took a step forward toward Lestrade, she frowned and stepped back.
“Originally, I could never have obtained the idol and crush of men throughout England.”
But as she retreated, Adler advanced even more.
“The iron-walled knight who has never accepted anyone’s confession.”
“Wait…”
“An opportunity to handle such a being as I please.”
Backed against a wall, Lestrade tried to push away Adler who had come right up to her face, but eventually gritted her teeth and slowly lowered her arms.
“You clearly said it yourself.”
“………”
“That you would satisfy me in place of other women.”
Adler reaches for her upper garment.
“That you would do whatever I demanded.”
His hands begin to unbutton her police uniform one by one.
“That you would gladly let yourself be broken by my hands.”
Trembling as she felt it acutely, Lestrade closed her eyes tightly and spoke just as his hand touched right above her chest.
“Hurry… and finish.”
Her voice, half cold and half disgusted, echoed in the dark alley.
“When no one’s watching… do it quickly and get it over with…”
And then silence followed.
“…….?”
After feeling the wind entering through her unbuttoned uniform for a while, she tilted her head and opened her eyes when nothing happened.
“I just unbuttoned it in advance.”
Smiling with his eyes at Lestrade, Adler gently takes her hand.
“We’ll finish the rest when we reach our destination.”
At his low voice, Lestrade nods with a contemptuous expression.
“It will certainly be an enjoyable experience.”
‘I already expected to be treated like this…’
Her hand, held by Adler, was trembling as if she had goosebumps.
‘…Endure it for justice, Zia Lestrade.’

“Huh…?”
Just a few minutes later.
“Ta-da!”
Looking at where Adler had brought her while holding her hand, she began to wear a blank expression.
“This is…”
“A clothing store!”
Answering Lestrade cheerfully, Adler enters the store with an excited expression, leading her inside.
“I’ve always wanted to visit one with a girlfriend.”
“…..???”
Question marks began to appear in Zia Lestrade’s mind.

Meanwhile, across the street.
“”………..””
After waiting for a long time at the coffee house with no sign of them returning, Sharlotte Holmes finally set out to find them.
And Jane Moriarty, who had finished her morning class in an unusually low mood, immediately left the academy to find her assistant who might be in danger by now.
The two women stood side by side, watching Adler’s back as he entered the clothing store holding hands with Zia Lestrade.
[Probability of abduction: 25%->40%]
[Probability of confinement: 80%->90%]
[Probability of training: 50%->70%]
Adler’s karma was starting to reach its limit.
