Ch.456″It’s a rule that if you show off too much, you’ll end up with a knife pointed at you.”

And the reason I’m reacting this way is none other than…

The point requirements had risen more drastically than expected.
“Wow, it’s become quite brutal.”
“Hmm, indeed it has.”
I couldn’t help but think that a balance patch had been implemented because of my rampage.
Just a few minutes ago, this fleet status table would have shown around 860 or 870 points.
Through that damned balance adjustment, my fleet points had suddenly filled up to nearly the maximum limit.
Contrary to my expectations, I realized that the game administrators were keeping a pretty close eye on the players’ situations.
But that wasn’t the important thing right now. What mattered was that with this update-patch, my fleet no longer had any wiggle room.
“Jessica, you haven’t unpacked the Rafflesia-class yet, right?”
“No, since I didn’t receive any instructions from you, Commander, I kept it unopened and positioned it next to the Tannhäuser, with a guard fleet stationed in front of it.”
“Hmm, good.”
I decided to scrap all but one of the existing patrol ships.
With the shipyards idling around with nothing to do after finishing repairs, I used the remaining 29 points from scrapping the patrol ships.
I decided to build 9 destroyers with a strictly anti-air configuration, bringing my fleet points to exactly 1,047.
Moreover, while regular shipyards couldn’t construct large ships, large ship shipyards and Dreadnought platforms could build “small ships.”
So I used all available shipyards and platforms, except for the two dismantling the patrol ships, to simultaneously construct destroyers and reduce the construction time.
Of course, even with all that optimization, it would still take at least half a day…
In the meantime, I witnessed Pashtra teasing Dornia about being a loser with small breasts and short height, only to get hit with an uppercut to her lower chest and become dazed.
Ignis, who took splash damage from being nearby, also ended up getting dragged into the mess.

Title: WTF HAPPENED TO MY ANOMALOCARIS!!!
Author: Mona Lisa
Content: [Image of Anomalocaris requiring over ‘300’ points.jpg], [Image of fleet points easily exceeding the maximum limit.jpg]
What the f!!!uck!!!
I haven’t even built the Orbital Ring yet!
Comments:
-[Wow, those point requirements are insane]
-[It alone eats up a third of a normal user’s fleet points lol]
-[LOLOLOLOL]
-[This is crazy lol]
-[Why are they doing this?]
-˪[Even if you build the Orbital Ring, the Anomalocaris takes up so many points that you can’t recover if your fleet gets destroyed]

I munched on popcorn while watching Mona Lisa, who had been screwed over by the point increase even worse than I had.
==========
Anyway, after spending half a day like that and seeing the 9 destroyers pop into existence,
I felt my heart pounding with excitement as we prepared for the first unveiling of a Xenovia Empire-style ship in our fleet.
It was even an “Assault Combat Aircraft Carrier” like the Kraken I had received from the monster.
‘Mmm, yummy.’
I proceeded with the unveiling, filled with anticipation about what kind of thrill this pretty ship would bring…
And after that.
Unlike the Kraken, which had been a typical “ship” style with a small head and large shoulder pads(?),
How should I put it…
“Commander, is that the Rafflesia-class?”
“…Yes, it is.”
“It has quite a bizarre shape, like it’s trying to imitate a natural gemstone and a flower but stopped halfway.”
The appearance was truly strange enough to warrant such comments from Tiamat, who had rushed over upon hearing news of the assault combat carrier.
To summarize the Rafflesia-class’s form as briefly as possible, it did indeed have a “flower-like” structure as Tiamat said.
Unlike the common-grade carriers I used or the Kraken, its overall shape wasn’t elongated from front to back but from side to side, like an inverted “flying wing” aircraft.
It had the anachronistic oddity of “multi-layered flight decks” attached to it.
Moreover, these multi-layered flight decks extended diagonally from the gem-like hull at the center.
Between these flight decks and the hull were weapons like battleship main gun turrets and secondary turrets.
Right next to the flight decks and hull were densely packed protruding VLS systems.
In many ways, it boasted a particularly unusual appearance compared to ordinary ships.
Anyway, while I was evaluating its exterior, the Rafflesia-class, being towed by YTL-like tugboats, docked at the Tannhäuser’s internal mooring facility.
A status window for this newly acquired ship popped up before my eyes.
And looking at the contents written in that status window:
—————————————–
<Rafflesia-class Assault Combat Aircraft Carrier>
<This is the Xenovia Empire’s main combat aircraft carrier.>
<Grade: Assault Combat Aircraft Carrier>
<The Xenovia Empire, which is quite lacking in quantity compared to other factions, has compensated by either enhancing the performance of each ship or designing ships capable of performing multiple missions simultaneously.>
<The Rafflesia-class, designed with this intention, is one of the ships closest to the “all-purpose” type that the Xenovia Empire desires.>
<It can handle artillery battles, fleet air superiority, air strikes, escort, transport, and even “teleport” functions.>
<Of course, due to the nature of worldly things, no single ship could fulfill all performance requirements.>
<The Xenovia Empire’s design bureau, based on the logic that “Since we have barriers anyway, we can’t invest in hull armor too!”>
<In exchange for all those functions, its inherent defensive capability is virtually “zero.”>
<Therefore, if the barrier is ever deactivated,>
<You’ll witness the miracle of hull armor being punctured by fighter gun attacks—not just common-grade patrol ships.>
<Also, despite cutting armor as much as possible to accommodate too many functions,>
<The power sources are excessively strained just to sustain it, resulting in significantly deteriorated maneuverability even during normal operation.>
<Additionally, due to power source overload issues, the teleport function requires either deactivating the barrier, completely stopping movement, or temporarily disabling all weapons when used.>

‘…Is this good or bad?’
It seemed quite good at first glance, but seeing the list of disadvantages at the end,
I decided to consult the gallery-wiki, that repository of knowledge(?), to understand the situation better.
