    <‘All-Big-Ship’ Event Start!>

    <Additional Notice>

<After completing battles 1, 2, and 3, the ‘destroyed’ ships and superhumans will revive for the raid battle!>

    —————————————–

As the event officially began, an additional notice appeared essentially saying, “No matter how much you beat them up, you’ll still get a taste of the raid boss battle.”

Users were either confidently selecting solo battles saying, “Real men fight one-on-one!!!”

Or choosing team battles with comments like, “I should build up teamwork first.”

Overall, they were showing quite ordinary yet appropriate approaches to the start.

But once they entered the event map and battles began…

Title: Whyyyyy do I have to calculate firing angles

If these are the latest SF battleships, shouldn’t the captain and his lackeys handle the calculations?

Why am I doing the math lol

    Comments:

-[Shouldn’t you delegate that to your subordinates or superhumans? Why are you doing it yourself?]

    Help??

    Comments:

-[Superhumans, captains, and ship computers should be making predictive shots automatically, so they shouldn’t miss that badly?]

    -[Did you mess with something?]

The opposite of the previous guy.

Someone who’s ruining things by “unnecessarily” interfering when the superhumans or ship NPCs would have handled it fine if left alone.

With so many eccentric types popping up, the gallery was flooded with endless posts.

I shook my head looking at the gallery, then—

    -Beep beep beep! Beep!

“Commander, enemy fleet detected on the shared long-range radar system of the Brawler and Khabarovsk.”

“That’s faster than expected. Are they just charging straight at us?”

I decided to immediately issue attack orders to the fleet in response to the enemy fleet detected through the dual-core drone systems of the Brawler-class and Khabarovsk-class ships.

    ==========

Meanwhile, while Icarus was busy leading his fleet packed with all sorts of specialized ships to crush some user, temporarily ignoring the gallery…

In the gallery, the topics about eccentric users died down, replaced by discussions about the NPC fleets people had faced.

Naturally, most of these posts were about facing fleets that were clearly copies of top-ranked players’ fleets.

Among these, the most popular posts were about encounters with fleets copying Icarus’s fleet with its assortment of bizarre ships.

Of course, this wasn’t simply for the mundane reason of seeing Icarus’s fleet…

With the Kraken-class that ranked among the strongest in small fleet battles.

The Ouroboros with its wide-area annihilation capabilities.

The Hresvelgr packed with strategic missiles that could decommission a battleship in one hit.

The Anchorage with its groundless harpoon weapon that could definitely sink any ship of equal or lower class if you were unlucky enough to encounter it.

And others like the Bayern that was average overall but ranked high in durability.

After facing a fleet consisting of various battleships, battle cruisers, and aircraft carriers including Dreadnoughts, the results were…

    Title: Is this for real?

Content: [GIF of a fleet advancing when Ouroboros’s concentrated fire hits directly.gif]

    Holy shiiiit

I managed to withstand the Ouroboros’s barrage with my fleet barrier

But then teleporting zero-range missiles came flying in, leaving my main ships moderately or severely damaged

Then three weird harpoons opened wormholes and tried to stick into my battleship and drag it away

Luckily two missed and disappeared with their wormholes so no problem

But one hit and my battleship got stuck in the wormhole and exploded

Then in the midst of all that confusion, bio-bombers appeared right above my fleet and dropped laser bombs on my defenseless carriers and battleships

I finally managed to take down the carrier-based aircraft, and while hurriedly gathering to deal with the ships hit by strategic missiles, concentrated fire came in and melted the battleship’s armor plating

Seeing nine battleships and three carriers severely damaged in an instant, I surrendered out of frustration

    Damn NPC fleet, shit

My battleship formation got messed up from the start when Anchorage harpoons hit

Then a Dreadnought couldn’t even dodge additional Anchorage harpoons, got hit by all sorts of attacks, and exploded

I feel like my spirit is breaking

    Damn

    Comments:

Title: Tried to take down NPCarus’s fleet with stealth but got taken down instead

    Author: Anonymous

Content: [Image of a toad blowing cigarette smoke]

I had stealth battleships and medium cruisers, so I made my main force draw aggro while sending the stealth units to flank

But damn, they had a Khabarovsk so everything was detected

    Comments:

-[That Icarus bastard, his main fleet is all exposed now lol. Only a matter of time before someone figures out how to beat it lol]

-˪[But individual battles are one-and-done anyway]

    -˪[Oh right, damn]

Title: What makes posts about facing NPCarus fun is that they’re never “I gritted my teeth and won” but always “unfair bullshit”

    Author: Anonymous

Content: [Image of a toad wearing sunglasses and smiling]

    For real lol

Posts about facing other top rankers’ copied NPCs are like “I gritted my teeth, twisted my body, and took down a top ranker, doesn’t that make me skilled too?”

But posts about facing NPCarus are just summarized as “Damn, this is unfair bullshit”

Plus, unlike others, his fleet is full of uniquely weird ships, so people get defeated in uniquely weird ways

    Comments:

    -[This is so true;;]

-[I still remember the post about someone getting blown up by strategic missiles teleporting between aircraft carrier launch bays, not even at zero range]

-˪[Why are you the only one who sees such fun stuff]

-[Anchorage is truly a highlight generator. Videos show cruisers suddenly getting sucked into wormholes like moles]

Users were enjoying all the bizarre strategies displayed by the NPCs copying Icarus’s fleet.

They were happy to see other users suffering, glad they hadn’t experienced it themselves.
