Of course, despite using up all my gacha tickets, I didn’t get a single resource box.

After returning to the command center with Jessica and Dornia,

I had to immediately contact Perseus to deliver this unfortunate(?) news.

    <Icarus-Perseus Chat>

    -[Sorry]

-[Not a single resource box came out](Icarus)

    -[?]

    -[Does that even make sense?](Perseus)

    -[It’s true]

-[<Gacha results proof, starship and superhuman pulls are censored.jpg>](Icarus)

    -[Wow]

-[So gacha can turn out like that]

-[Well, nothing we can do then]

    -[Thanks for your effort](Perseus)

    -[Yeah, you too](Icarus)

    <Perseus has left the chat.>

    —————————————–

Of course, since I censored the starship and superhuman pulls, all Perseus could see were 148 “equipment boxes.”

He left the chat quietly, wishing me condolences without even knowing what I actually pulled.

Anyway, after cleanly resolving the transaction issue like that,

I turned my attention to Dornia, a superhuman with the unique characteristic of being both a “ranged and melee DPS” that I had used quite effectively with Pashtra in the past.

Of course, this wasn’t to check out Dornia’s physique, which had the minority status in our base of “small chest, thick thighs.”

    ‘Let’s see, it’s been a while… Dornia’s status window!’

It was simply a procedure to check Dornia’s status window to confirm I wasn’t mistaken about anything.

It definitely wasn’t to look at her extremely firm and bouncy thighs and buttocks, which contrasted with her flat chest that was comparable to or even flatter than Bendalofe (female version) or Ignis.

I opened the status window while looking at Dornia, who seemed to notice my gaze and waved a metallic substance resembling a hand at me with a smiling eye while chatting with Jessica.

And looking at the status window, I realized that at least nothing had changed drastically during the time I had quit the game.

‘Good, the stats in the status window are just as I remember.’

After confirming that they matched my memories from nearly 6, no, almost 7 years ago, I immediately opened the gallery.

As always, I deleted the pile of reported posts and decided to open the wiki tab related to Dornia.

And fortunately, I found that Dornia’s settings and performance hadn’t changed much from my memory.

Title: Review of Dornia, the SSS-rank ranged superhuman who’s actually a melee fighter.txt

    Author: Wiki Historian mk-56

Content: [Concept art of Dornia reconstructing surrounding walls and floors into cannons.jpg]

The gallery and veterans call her ranged, but she’s actually a bizarre superhuman who’s used as “melee” specifically against starships.

    Nicknames: Do-Emperor, Do-Thighs, Bread-nia, Doma

Despite having a chest as small as or even smaller than Ignis, with no difference between front and back,

Her lower body is extremely sturdy, making her popular among both slender body enthusiasts and big booty lovers.

Anyway, what does this character do?

According to her setting and all her stats, she belongs to the ultra-long-range bombardment type represented by Pashtra.

But unlike Pashtra, who creates particles in mid-air and fires them like “magic,”

She transforms surrounding terrain, weapons, and equipment into railguns or beam cannons to fire.

    [Dornia’s status window.jpg]

Her performance itself is a fairly average SSS-rank ranged DPS, and she’s not particularly good at close combat.

So why do veterans sometimes push Dornia into melee roles?

As I said above, she uses “surrounding terrain.”

Based on this function, they just ram her into enemy ships.

Then whenever Dornia creates weapons to fight the enemy, the ship itself gets wrecked.

Of course, the ship doesn’t get completely destroyed as soon as she boards it,

But the longer the battle goes on, the more the ship Dornia has boarded transforms into something that was once a ship.

If you somehow manage to take it to a shipyard, you might be able to repair it and use it,

But it’s impossible to repair it on-site with resource harvesters.

So if Dornia boards your main ship in the middle of a battle, you either need to get her out ASAP,

Or just give up on that ship lol.

Oh, but don’t misunderstand this post and actually try to use Dornia as a melee character.

Ramming her straight into enemy superhumans?

You’ll see her get torn apart not just by bruiser characters like Ignis or Partia, but also by equivalent anti-personnel melee or command-type superhumans.

    Comments:

    -[Analysis request]

    -[Summary please]

-˪[Her ranged performance is similar to or slightly worse than Pashtra](Author)

-˪[But there’s an Easter egg where she transforms surrounding terrain, so if you ram her into a ship, the ship gets messed up](Author)

-˪[But that’s just for fun, if you seriously ram her into enemy melee superhumans, you’re screwed]

    -˪[Good summary]

-[Dornia only has good melee stats, but she’s actually slow, so even upper S-rank fighters make her sweat in melee]

-˪[Isn’t that true for most bombardment-type superhumans?]

-˪[The problem is idiots who don’t know this and ram her in anyway]

    —————————————–

    ‘Hmm, it’s exactly the same.’

Judging by our current superhumans, her attack structure and abilities were similar to Pashtra…

But her attack method could be considered identical to Oxianor’s.

After organizing my thoughts this far, I watched Dornia engage in cheerful girl talk with “original members” like Berial,

    Griyanar, and Pashtra.

While I was pleased about having a new ranged superhuman, I somehow felt very wronged.

    ‘Damn gacha.’

Usually, no matter what I did, I only got resource boxes, but when I actually needed them, they were the only things that didn’t appear.

Of course, such thoughts didn’t last long.

After all, for someone like me who was famous for having terrible gacha luck, getting an SSS-rank superhuman and an A-rank medium cruiser (electronic warfare cruiser) with just 150 pulls was quite something.

Complaining about not getting resource boxes in that situation would be too unseemly…

I shook my head once, gave my face a dry wash.

And then spoke to Dornia and the other superhumans, who had finished greeting the “original members” and were now greeting the newly arrived personnel.

    Actually, it wasn’t just Dornia…

    “Berial, Pashtra.”

    “Yes, Commander.”

    “Whatever you say♡”

“Go around with Dornia and help her build up training and experience again, and also take that… Brawler-class with you for leveling.”

I ordered them to take the “Brawler-class” electronic warfare cruiser that came with her and diligently level it up so it could at least participate in basic combat before the event started.

Of course, with barely a week left until the event started…

    ‘It’s better than doing nothing.’

No matter what, it’s an undeniable truth that level 10 is better than level 1, and level 11 is better than level 10.

I resolved to make my best effort to properly level up this suddenly appeared superhuman and starship,

And somehow put them to use in the upcoming event.
