<Notice: NO direct confrontation with Yellow Bandits>
-[What happened to Spiralis? Suddenly can’t move there]
-[Routes connected to the base overlapped with other routes and got disconnected]
-[“You came to rescue us, bro!” / “No, we’re trapped too.”]
-[Oh]
-[Wait is this for real]
—————————————–
Naturally, when this situation developed, the self-proclaimed allied users of the Triangle Zone showed various signs of confusion.
No, beyond confusion…

<Notice: NO direct confrontation with Yellow Bandits>
-[Waaah are the Icarus fleets getting crushed too?]
-[Damn we’re surrounded]
-[We’re screwed, looks like they’re planning to dock here completely, they’ve brought everything except resource fleets]
-[Damn, this isn’t going to be easy]

They were constantly displaying an incredibly depressing defeatist attitude, saying we were now doomed.
And such attitudes were being shown not only by regular users whose mental fortitude had already half-crumbled, but also by the surrounded mercenary users who were knowingly or unknowingly displaying the same attitude.
Because the base was docked here, users other than those who had to resist desperately whether they liked it or not were quietly preparing to flee.
But looking at these behaviors, I shook my head while calming the bewilderment I had felt.
“Jessica, this is the true nature of the people I’ll have to deal with if I become a clan leader.”
“Hmm, I can see why you would dislike it so much, Commander.”
Unlike other users, the reason I was responding so calmly was simple.
“Have we identified the three bases that destroyed Spiralis’ routes?”
“Yes, they’re all level 1-2 bases, and I’ve secured their spatial coordinates.”
“Good, then tell the mercenary dispatch manager to call in all mercenaries that can be hired with 4.3 million minerals and 900,000 rare resources.”
“Yes, Commander!”
“And take this.”
“Ah.”
As you can see from me giving Jessica the sewing machine while saying such things.
It was because all I needed to do was write: ‘Oh, the base defense fleet can’t move? Then just warp the Tannhäuser gate with mercenaries and that’s it!’
Of course, due to the sudden appearance of the Leviathan Squadron earlier, which wasted resources amounting to millions, my hiring capacity had been considerably reduced…
But in the chaos of the past 1-2 weeks, more users had docked at my base than before.
Thanks to the increased resource supply rate, more resources could be gathered than expected.
Moreover, by using resource boxes obtained from previous gacha pulls for box openings.
And by purchasing (cash) resource items from the trading market, appropriately securing resources in advance.

“Looking solid.”
“…Sometimes when I hear your expressions, Commander, I find them difficult to understand.”
After subduing each base with roughly 30,000 mercenary fleet ships, I decided to implement a plan to bring those who were trying to eat my pretty Krakens as takoyaki into my ‘territory’ and let the Leviathan Squadron take care of them.
Of course, my strategy was only useful in the current situation.
If the bases we were targeting had been occupied by bandits from the beginning and ‘defense facilities and fleets were intact!’
And consequently, if the stationed users were also intact, there was a high possibility that a mere 30,000 mercenary fleet ships wouldn’t be nearly enough…
-“Commander Icarus, all fleets have located the enemy base.”
-“Ready to attack?”
-“Ha! The docked guys and fleet condition don’t look too good!”
As reported by the mercenary corps representatives who went directly to the bases, they had driven out the NPCs and other users stationed at those bases and occupied them.
As a result, the bases’ defensive capabilities were lost, and the fleets of the occupying users were still under repair when the mercenary corps barged in.
Eventually, as the Yellow Bandit fleets heading to Spiralis were split by Ouroboros or Kraken-Hresvelgr long-range teleportation and brought our fleets within range.
With cheerful notification sounds, I was able to instantly connect the Spiralis base routes by acquiring two level 1 bases and one level 2 base…
And at that very moment.

<Event>
<Leviathan Squadron Sortie!>
<Details>
<Upon confirming that a large ‘hostile’ fleet has entered Icarus’s ‘territory’ where they were stationed.>
<Under Admiral Lanka’s judgment, the Leviathan Squadron has immediately sortied to intercept said fleet.>
<Result>
<The Leviathan Squadron will patrol the interior until the ‘hostile’ fleet reactions in the ‘territory’ disappear or until the Leviathan Squadron suffers more than 10% losses.>
—————————————–
Upon hearing the news that the Earth Federation exile government’s(?) Leviathan Squadron, which I had been waiting for, had sortied.
I decided to capture that message and post it in the Triangle chat room to calm the users’ confusion.

<Notice: NO mercy for Yellow Bandit fleets even if they surrender>
-[Attention everyone](Icarus)
-[Reconnected the routes that were cut off from Spiralis, and the Leviathan Squadron has sortied to crush the Yellow Bandit fleet that invaded Spiralis](Icarus)
-[All users can leisurely deal with the bandits](Icarus)
-[Ooooooh]
-[Ooooh]
-[How did you manage that]
-[Well](Icarus)

Of course, the Yellow Bandit gentlemen weren’t complete idiots either.
They didn’t think their fleet could defeat the Leviathan Squadron that had escaped through the encirclement created by Humanity’s 150,000 users with a combined ‘over 150 million points worth of fleets’.
They were trying to recapture the three bases that my mercenary corps had taken by brute force, to avoid having their fleet annihilated by the Leviathans.
But no matter how much user fleets received buffs from S-class or higher superhumans compared to mercenary corps.
It was virtually impossible to quickly recapture bases where over 30,000 mercenary ships were entrenched at each location.
They somehow managed to recapture the two level 1 bases, but…
As soon as the gate network connected to the level 2 base, I immediately deployed the Tannhäuser and Barracuda base defense fleets, causing their recapture attempt to fail.
And because of this, the Yellow Bandit fleets trying to surround Spiralis found user fleets, including mine, rushing at them from the front.
And from behind, they witnessed the approaching Leviathan Squadron led by Leviathan, full of Jormungandr-class and Yggdrasil-class ships, along with various other companions.
Our 1,000 Yellow Bandits were double-encircled from front and back, and began to be torn apart internally.
And in the midst of all this, as fleets from other bases began popping up inside Spiralis through the internal gate network…
Shortly after.

-[I’ll give you all resources and bases!]
-[Just spare our lives!]

-[What’s this?]
-[Oh the Yellow Bandits are finished?]
-[lololol]

Perhaps because they were a faction in name only, not a clan, making surrender declarations complicated.
They made a public surrender declaration through the public chat room, finally ending this war that had grown to an incredibly large scale.
