    ==

    After having fun with Mi-ae, who is in our guild [Arang’s Foot Licker], and logging into the game, the announcement was posted.

    Perhaps because it’s the last season update of the expansion pack, there were a lot of updates.

    Since the raid isn’t coming out right away and only the raid prelude quests are being released, there was no rush, so I decided to take my time and look through the update details.

    First of all, the new content is obviously the new story and new quests for the next raid. I’ll skip this since I’ll do it as soon as I get into Leore.

    The new equipment will be new crafting equipment and raid equipment, but since I have to clear the raid anyway, I don’t need it right now.

    The new items are new doping items needed to go to the new raid, so this is important. But I don’t raise life skills, so I’ll pass on this too.

    I’m not particularly interested in the reorganization since I haven’t been playing Leore for very long.

    The event information is about things you get by doing daily quests, weekly quests, and raids in Leore, so if you just play Leore like you’ve been doing, you can get a lot of good stuff.

    And the most important thing in this update is the balance patch.

    If you ask what’s the scariest thing in RPG, it’s the balance patch.

    Balance Patch.

    The balance patch is about judging the pros and cons of each job, buffing or nerfing them, and making patches.

    Even people who aren’t interested in patches can’t help but be interested in the balance patch.

    This is the first Leore balance patch I’ve received while playing Leore. I skipped to the balance patch section with a pounding heart.

    [Balance Patch]

    I immediately went to my only max-level job, [Sword Master].

    Currently, the evaluation of Sword Master is like a hearty stew.

    The damage isn’t that low, and it slightly increases the stats of the entire party with party synergy, so it definitely increases the damage of the entire party, so the employment rate is quite good.

    In that situation, I don’t think there’s much to touch in the balance patch.

    But…

    “Huh?”

    The Sword Master section is longer than I thought.

    First of all, the developer’s comment at the top.

    ==

    [As a result of the steadily increasing growth and proficiency of Sword Master adventurers recently, they are showing excellent damage indicators in various contents.

    It is judged that the damage index of Sword Master recently is significantly higher than other jobs.

    However, the damage index of the current Sword Master has a very large deviation compared to other jobs.

    Therefore, we have reorganized the skills of the Sword Master to alleviate the damage deviation between Sword Master adventurers.]

    ==

    Is this balance patch being done because of me…?

    Recently, before this update, I’ve been uploading my damage meter to the Leore log site while doing various content.

    After getting the crafted equipment, I’ve been confidently ranked 1st in most Sword Master logs, even though I don’t have the final equipment.

    Moreover, the gap between me and 2nd place was quite large.

    I was pulling out almost the same damage as pure dealer jobs.

    In fact, it was a bit strange that a synergy dealer was competing in damage with a pure dealer.

    I was actually thinking about the balance patch.

    I’m curious to see how it will change.

    ==

    [Sword Master]

    [Yeongeok]

    Swing your sword to attack the front. Attack speed increases by 3% for 3 seconds each time an attack is successful. Stacks up to 10 times.

    Attacks with 110% damage.

    Swing your sword to attack the front. Attack speed increases by 5% for 5 seconds each time an attack is successful. Stacks up to 5 times.

    Attacks with 115% damage.

    Many adventurers have difficulty maintaining [Yeongeok], and we thought that the damage deviation was very large depending on the maintenance of [Yeongeok], so we restructured [Yeongeok] to make it easier to maintain.

    ==

    First of all, the maximum number of stacks for Yeongeok has been cut in half. Instead, the attack speed increase has been buffed by 2%.

    Calculating the maximum number of stacks, it’s a 5% nerf, but the damage has been buffed from 110 to 115, so it’s not bad if you only look at this.

    Basically, if you use the Sword Master skill [Pentagon], you can maintain the maximum number of stacks of Yeongeok, so it seems like they made it easier to use [Yeongeok].

    Looking at it, it was so difficult that only I, among the people with the Sword Master job, could maintain 10 stacks, but now it seems like anyone can maintain it.

    The problem was next.

    ==

    [Revenge]

    If you succeed in parrying, the next attack will have a 30% increase in final damage and will be a sure hit.

    [Revenge] skill deleted.

    A new active skill [Wish] is added.

    [Wish]

    When used, the next attack will have a 10% increase in final damage and will be a sure hit. (20 seconds)

    As more end content has been added, it has become difficult to parry, and it was judged that the use of the [Revenge] skill has decreased and only certain adventurers are using it, so we deleted the [Revenge] skill and added the [Wish] skill to ease the conditions.

    ==

    This is… this is a very painful nerf.

    Other Sword Master users will be happy that the [Revenge] skill, which they would never use anyway, has disappeared and has simply been changed to an active skill, but for me, who parries all the time and uses the [Revenge] skill, it’s a big nerf.

    Overall, it’s a pretty good patch for ordinary or lower Sword Master users.

    It completely eased the difficulty of maintaining [Yeongeok] buffs, making it possible for anyone to have a full stack of [Yeongeok]. Just use the skill [Pentagon] and it’s a full stack.

    Moreover, [Revenge], which was not used because it was difficult to parry, has disappeared and changed to an active skill, so it’s good for users because they can use it whenever they want.

    It’s like suddenly receiving a 10% final damage increase skill.

    But from my point of view, 20% of damage has suddenly dropped.

    No, if you think about it, it’s going to be even worse. The final Sword Master skill, [Annihilation Strike], received several buffs and overlapped with the 30% increase in final damage of [Revenge], resulting in unbelievable damage, but this 20% nerf means that the actual damage is much lower.

    Thinking about it like this makes me angry.

    I really liked Sword Master and I liked it.

    The taste of maintaining the [Yeongeok] buff while parrying and shoving in damage was quite exquisite…

    Hmm…

    Should I switch to a job that has been buffed with this patch?

    First of all, I’ve seen almost all of the patch contents, so I logged into Leore.

    Did Mi-ae get home safely and log into Leore?

    I immediately searched for [Arang’s Foot Licker] with the player search.

    Ding!

    Could not find user [Arang’s Foot Licker].

    “Huh…?”

    What?

    Normally, if you don’t log in and are logged out, it doesn’t say that the user can’t be found, but it says that you are logged out.

    That is, the content now means that there is no user with the nickname [Arang’s Foot Licker].

    What, what, did she delete the character because she didn’t like going on a regular meeting with me…?

    While I was thinking that,

    [Arang’s Foot Licker] noticed that I had logged in and was running to meet me in front of me.

    [Munchkin Cat]

    LV : 60

    Arang’s Belly Blanket

    Huh…? Did she like my belly that I touched today so much…?

    ==

    On the way home after having fun with Arang.

    Kwon Mi-ae clenched and unclenched her right hand, recalling Arang’s belly that she had touched before parting with Arang.

    It’s not like I suddenly touched Arang’s belly.

    After playing board games for a long time and playing chess, I moved Arang, who was tired, to the bed and talked to Arang, and Arang brought it up first.

    She asked if I was upset because I couldn’t touch her feet. She also asked if I was sad that I couldn’t touch her hands either.

    Honestly, who can say yes to that! I wanted to touch it!

    Not knowing Arang’s condition, Arang said things that could hurt Arang without even thinking about it, and even the nickname could be hurtful to Arang, but Arang played with her sincerely and liked her without even caring.

    Arang was not much different from Leore and reality.

    Of course, her appearance in reality is desperate to anyone, but Arang’s personality, not her appearance, was the same as Leore.

    Thanks to that, I didn’t care about Arang’s appearance and had a really fun time talking like in Leore and playing together like in Leore.

    So I got used to Arang’s real appearance, and Arang’s appearance lying on the bed without her prosthetic arms and legs was pretty, cute, and heartbreaking.

    Arang said that she hadn’t been able to fulfill my request yet, and that since she couldn’t let me touch her hands or feet, it was okay to touch her belly.

    I was about to refuse right away, but the thought of wanting to touch it burst out in an instant, and I couldn’t refuse right away.

    Because of that, Arang twisted her body and went down, and her top naturally pushed up, revealing Arang’s belly in front of me.

    The moment I saw it.

    I couldn’t stand it.

    I can still feel the sensation of Arang’s belly.

    Until now, I thought I liked feet.

    But it wasn’t.

    As soon as I got home, I logged into Leore.

    I had already reserved the update, so I didn’t have to wait.

    Originally, if there was a large-scale season update, I would have immediately looked at the update status on the announcement, but that wasn’t a problem now.

    I immediately went to the store and bought a nickname change ticket.

    It costs 20,000 won to change your nickname once, but that’s not important now.

    Are you sure you want to change [Arang’s Foot Licker] → [Arang’s Belly Blanket]?

    [Accept] [Decline]

    I immediately pressed the accept button without a second thought.
