Ch.41Storm Premonition (2)

Anyway, I sat down on the living room chair as I was told.

Well… I had some writing to do anyway. I glanced at the two of them occasionally while working on my novel.

Eri is a good cook. That was already verified last time.

The problem was Umi. During the dating events in the game, there was no mention of Umi’s cooking skills. In other words, she was an unverified talent.

‘Honestly… in the original setting, she’s supposed to be bad at cooking.’

    It’s a common cliché.

Eventually, concerned, I approached Umi directly.

    Tap-tap-tap-tap!

However, contrary to expectations, Umi was actually good at cooking. Just watching her chop vegetables on the cutting board, I could tell.

“Umi… you’re surprisingly good at cooking?”

    I said.

“How rude!! Did you think I couldn’t cook?!!”

    Umi immediately got angry.

“You’re pretty good. For a rookie, that is.”

Though still not as good as my cooking skills.

“So arrogant!! I bet I’m better than Shota!”

Umi made a statement typical of an overconfident puppy.

“Once you taste my ‘Paradise Fried Rice,’ that thought will fly right out of your head.”

    I said with a smile.

“Paradise Fried Rice… kuhuhuh! What an unnecessarily grandiose name…!”

Umi burst into laughter. She really laughs easily.

“Well… my mom is actually a good cook… but she doesn’t cook much. So I ended up gaining some experience with household chores.”

    Umi explained.

“Asuna-san? Why doesn’t she cook much?”

    I asked Umi.

“Well… my mom is pretty strong. When she chops things on a cutting board, the board often gets cut through.”

Umi made a statement that defied common sense.

Wait. How does one cut through a cutting board while chopping?

“It’s kind of my mom’s trait… or maybe her constitution. When she holds any blade, she ends up cutting through everything.”

    Umi said.

“Back in elementary school, when she was helping me with paper cutting, she sliced through the desk with a utility knife. It was a big deal.”

Umi made another statement that defied common sense.

    “………”

Now I understood why Gonzaemon couldn’t do anything against Asuna-san. She was just inherently powerful.

    “Well, Umi is strong too.”

So that’s why people said Umi had heavy hands—it was hereditary.

“That’s rude to say to a woman!!”

    Umi immediately started hitting me.

It hurt. Really. Even though she was just patting me, I could feel my bones ringing.

I wondered what would happen if Umi threw a full-power punch. The thought filled me with mild terror.

    ———

Anyway, I finished my writing while watching the two of them cook.

    ‘This is nice…’

Honestly, I had to admit that I had become quite accustomed to having Umi and Eri around.

Just seeing their backs as they cooked gave me a sense of fulfillment. I also felt satisfied knowing these women liked me.

    “Ta-da!!!!”

Eri and Umi brought out the food.

    “This is…..”

Eel rice bowl made with store-bought eel and seasoning.

Grilled asparagus neatly arranged on the plate.

I sensed some intention behind the dish selection. Even though I never studied Korean language much when I was young, I always got top grades. I could detect the writer’s intention, or rather, the cooks’ intention.

These two… they came prepared this Sunday.

“Are you worried the ingredients are too expensive? Don’t worry. I earn plenty from my modeling jobs.”

“I have quite a bit saved up too.”

Umi and Eri quickly reassured me.

“No… it’s not just that they’re expensive… I can clearly see the intention behind this meal…”

    I said.

    “Don’t worry about it.”

After that, Eri and Umi sat down on either side of me.

And so, Umi and I ate our late breakfast/lunch.

‘Even if they used ingredients known for enhancing stamina, it’s not like something out of an adult novel is going to happen.’

I smirked to myself. The effects don’t work that directly. Aphrodisiacs and love potions like those in martial arts novels don’t exist in reality.

I just relaxed and enjoyed the meal.

Afterward, I brushed my teeth and read some web novels.

    ‘I’m sleepy.’

I suddenly yawned. Why is Sunday afternoon always so drowsy?

“Maybe I’ll take a nap and then go to the dojo.”

    That was my plan.

A Sunday afternoon nap before a holiday? Absolutely irresistible. Only a non-human could resist that.

“Then shall we take a nap too?”

Umi and Eri exchanged glances. From the moment they entered my home, they hadn’t allowed separate rooms.

    “Sure. Sure.”

All the doorknobs were already broken anyway. There was no point in trying to escape to another room. I lay down spread-eagle. Umi and Eri immediately occupied both sides of me.

By the way… what should I do about the doorknobs? I’ll need to call someone to repair them eventually.

    ——–

    On a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Umi and Eri continued their intimate skinship with my body, as if indulging in sleepy affection.

It seemed like any other day. That’s what I thought as I tried to close my eyes… but it wasn’t like usual.

Somehow… my body felt strangely hot. The change in the lower half of my body was just a bonus.

    “This is…..”

No way. Could eating eel and asparagus really cause this? Impossible. I immediately sensed they had put something in the food.

“Umi, Eri. Tell me the truth. What did you do?”

    I looked straight at them.

“It’s… a commercially available pill!! Definitely not something weird!”

    Umi confessed immediately.

“You know, that medicine originally developed for heart conditions.”

Eri also smiled with a cute expression.

So that’s why the food had such a strong aroma… it was to mask what they’d added?! These calculating little… Leaving the cooking to them was my fatal mistake.

Dad always said never to trust women!!!! I’m sorry, Dad!! I’ve been had!!!!

It was clearly a situation where I should scold them, but… my head felt strangely hot. At this moment, Umi and Eri seemed more adorable than anyone else. I wanted to stay by their side forever. That’s what I thought. As a result, my reason flew out the window.

“Shota… sorry. But… we want you that much.”

Umi said, gently caressing my cheek.

“Shota… let’s feel good together, okay?”

Eri said as she slowly began removing my clothes.

“With Taiga around… and women constantly flocking to you, Shota… we felt so anxious that we had to advance our relationship somehow…”

Umi nibbled on my ear as she spoke.

My body grew hotter and hotter. I felt like I was coming down with something. At the same time, my mind became increasingly foggy.

And then my consciousness faded to black.

    ———-

Umi, Eri, and I all surrendered to our instincts and ended up doing… that.

Yes, we did it. The heat in the room and the evidence all around proved that I had already crossed the line.

‘Let’s just call this a mistake for now. Yes. Act like it never happened. It was just a dream. An embarrassing dream.’

I was thinking this while trying to stop them when:

    “Shota… let’s do more. Okay?”

    Eri lightly embraced me.

“It’s the weekend… we can go to the dojo later…”

Umi also let out passionate sighs beside me.

And so, we confirmed our love once more until early evening.

When the sunset began to fill the entire room, I finally opened my eyes to the strong rays of the setting sun.

    “Whoa! You startled me!”

I must have lost consciousness at some point. I immediately opened my eyes and looked around. Umi and Eri were still nestled against me.

That’s right. It wasn’t a dream. This was reality. Which meant… we had crossed the line.

“Oh, Shota. You suddenly passed out and scared us.”

Umi said, snuggling closer to me.

“Ufufu. Are you tired? Even Shota has his cute sides.”

Eri also nestled into my arms.

Dealing with two women was much more physically demanding than I’d expected. That’s why I had fallen asleep from exhaustion.

“We still have plenty of time… before dinner…”

Umi squirmed and looked up at me expectantly.

“I… want Shota to love me more.”

Eri also entangled herself with me, cutting off my escape route.

    “…Isn’t this enough already?”

We had been intimate since noon, and now it was early evening. Yet they still wanted more? About five hours had passed. Even soccer, a physically demanding sport, only lasts 45 minutes per half!! You crazy women!!!!

    *Shudder*!!!

For the first time, I felt fear toward Umi and Eri.

“But… I want to be with Shota more.”

Umi puffed her cheeks and acted cute.

It seemed… Umi and Eri had absolutely no intention of letting me go.

And so, that unforgettable Sunday continued.

I was finally released from the two of them at 8 PM. As for the dojo… I decided to skip it.

Cooking was too troublesome, so we just ordered pizza.

Me? I ate the pizza they fed me while I lay there half-mummified.

For the first time in my life, I felt my life was in danger.

“Well… we’ve eaten pizza, and you’ve regained some energy, right? So… shall we go back to the bedroom?”

But I wasn’t free from hell yet. Umi and Eri dragged my mummified self along. I had no strength to resist.

Without strength, you can’t assert anything. I truly tasted the bitterness of the world today.

After that, I wasn’t released until midnight.

    ——–

    Midnight.

Since it was another day for monster hunting, I went outside. I rationally decided that hunting monsters would be better than staying home where my life force might be drained further.

    “Hey… Sasith.”

I greeted Sasith who was in the park.

“Shota… are you okay? Your complexion…”

Sasith looked at me with concern. It was like he was looking at a living mummy.

    “…I’m fine.”

    I could only answer vaguely.

“I see. So in the end…”

Sasith seemed to have guessed what had happened to me.

“Well… hang in there. It’s your karma after all. I won’t… tell Taiga.”

Sasith patted my shoulder as he spoke.

Unintentionally, the brotherhood between Sasith and me deepened.
