Title: EU Hyping Up Humanity’s Movement of Earth Defense Fleet.txt

First, you need to understand why veterans and experienced players are freaking out about the Earth Defense Fleet’s movement.
This is something you’d know if you read the post above, but for those lazy bastards who can’t be bothered, here’s a quick summary:
The Jormungand-class ships that serve as flagships for each border defense fleet? The Earth Defense Fleet has about 10 of each.
Actually, that’s just the ratio. In reality, they have Jormungand-class ships numbering in the thousands.
Plus, there are the Yggdrasil-class super carriers that are exclusively assigned to the Earth Defense Fleet.
And finally, the Earth Federation flagship Leviathan that I linked above.
To face all that, you’d basically need hundreds or thousands of Dreadnoughts ready to be sacrificed, when most users only have 1-2 of them.
Comments:
-[Huh, what?]
-[There are 10 Jormungand-class ships?]
-[Are you insane?]
-[But what’s a Jormungand, and what are Yggdrasil and Leviathan?]
-˪[Sit down, newbie. We’re about to tell you some seriously awesome stuff about that]

Title: Ship Settings That Newbies Don’t Know About the Earth Defense Fleet.txt
Author: BigShipBigGunEnthusiast

Since this isn’t the wiki, I’ll keep it super simple:
1. Jormungand-class Super Dreadnought
From a user’s perspective, it has all-around heavy armor that can only be damaged by Dreadnoughts, siege battleships, annihilation ships, or super-heavy torpedoes (or strategic missiles).
However, most of its armaments are similar to or “slightly” weaker than a regular Dreadnought, with the distinctive feature of having formidable anti-air capabilities.
To compensate for this relatively insufficient firepower, they installed an Ouroboros-class main gun on the front of the hull.
Unlike the Ouroboros that can switch between diffusion, normal, and focused modes, this one only fires in normal mode.
It’s slow, too.
2. Yggdrasil-class Super Carrier, aka Ultra-heavy Combat Carrier
This is what happens when Earth Federation’s “big ship, big gun” philosophy is applied to carriers.
It’s on par with the Anomalocaris used by Monaliza, the clan leader of the Magellan Clan who ranks 10th.
It carries fewer aircraft than that one, but has enhanced firepower and armor instead.
The problem is that even though it has “fewer” aircraft, it’s still a “super carrier,” so each ship launches 50,000 aircraft.
You might wonder how that compares to Monaliza’s ship, which didn’t seem to have that many aircraft, but Monaliza herself clarified that she was “just being conservative.”
And since it’s a combat carrier, it has about 4 battleship-class gun turrets, and except for the aircraft launch bays, it’s covered in armor slightly inferior to the Jormungand’s, making it incredibly tough.
Unlike the Jormungand-class ships that are dispatched as flagships to various fleets, Yggdrasil-class ships are exclusively assigned to the Earth Defense Fleet, so unless you go near Earth, you won’t often see them.
When you add all the other ships like Dreadnoughts, large aircraft carriers, battleships, and smaller vessels… you get an absolutely insane invincible fleet.
But even more problematic than all these overpowered ships combined is the flagship Leviathan.
3. Earth Federation Flagship Leviathan (or Leviathan-class)
While it’s referred to as “Leviathan-class” in the setting guide, it’s actually a “faction flagship” with only one ship per faction.
First off, it’s literally planet-sized.
If we had to classify it, it would be a Super Dreadnought, but here’s the problem:
Whether it’s gacha ships or whatever, users can’t penetrate Leviathan’s armor no matter what ships, weapons, or superhumans they mobilize LOLOLOL
No joke, it wasn’t designed to be defeated by users in the first place.
Someone once tested it by giving an Ouroboros all possible command buffs, totem buffs, and everything else they could think of.
They modified the equipment for maximum firepower, overcharged it to 140%, and fired in focused mode.
It only penetrated after stacking about 50 superhuman buffs, but that’s not a common scenario.
At least they had some conscience, as it doesn’t have strategic weapons like Jormungand or Ouroboros that can wipe out entire fleets.
But based on its insane tanking ability, its sheer size gives it ridiculous firepower.
And if you try to rush it with superhumans, it’s crawling with defensive superhumans inside because it’s a flagship.
Back when this was still a real game, about 10,000 users tried a Leviathan raid but had to run away after their entire fleet was destroyed.
Of course, being a game, it’s not without weaknesses.
You can destroy all its weapons and propulsion systems, surround it with fleets, and beat the crap out of it until it breaks.
But Leviathan never travels alone, and apart from the Earth Defense Fleet, it has its own escort fleet called the “Leviathan Squadron.”
So you have to deal with them while simultaneously taking out Leviathan’s mobility and firepower.
Comments:
-[Your explanation is way too long, give me a 3-line summary]
-˪[Super strong ships travel in groups and obliterate fleet-sized obstacles](Author)
-˪[That’s right, that’s how you summarize it, why did you write such a wall of text?]
-˪[…?](Author)
-[The guy who wrote this is being treated like a pet dog]
-[So the reward for writing a long, detailed explanation is getting treated like a pet by random users?]
——————————————-
And while various other explanatory posts were uploaded,
The summary was that “the Earth Defense Fleet is veeeery strong, and the flagship Leviathan is eeeeven stronger!”
Of course, the Humanity faction could now fully utilize the vast western and central regions of the Federation.
While the users were replenishing their own fleets and mercenary corps that had been depleted in breaking through the front lines.

<Notice: Leviathan spotted, everyone prepare to respond>
-[Damn, resources are draining right after the weekend]
-[Good]
-[Hire the outpost mercenary corps immediately and use them to block the front](Antares)
-[OK OK]
——————————————-
Antares, the clan leader of Humanity, decided to mobilize all “outpost mercenary corps” from each base to stop the advance of the Earth Defense Fleet.
Naturally, in the process, some users in the eastern region of the Earth Federation also confirmed that the Earth Federation fleet was focusing on a full-scale offensive toward the central region.

<Humanity Alliance Official Chat Room>
<Notice: Earth Defense Fleet currently moving toward “New Saint-Germain”>
-[What’s the clan HQ saying?]
-[They’re saying to mobilize all outpost mercenary corps to buy time while we finish repairing ships at the shipyards]
-[Superhumans need rest too]
-[We’re already doing that, but how long can we hold out?]
-[Currently, Clan Leader Antares is deploying all outpost mercenary corps from western and central bases at “New Saint-Germain”](Humanity Representative)
-[Users at New Saint-Germain who have siege battleships or annihilation ships are fighting alongside them, but it’s hard to hold out for long](Humanity Representative)
<Notice: Maximum rest time is 2 days, prepare as intensively as possible>
-[Oh my]
-[Holy shit]
-[This is intense?]
-[I heard eastern users and lower clans are also conducting guerrilla warfare to somehow prevent the Earth Federation fleet from gathering]
-[Wow damn…]
——————————————-
Conducting their own guerrilla warfare, they were doing their best to chip away at the Federation’s forces to maintain the hard-won advantage.
While the outpost mercenary corps mobilized by Antares and the lower clan leaders bought time, the users who formed the Humanity Alliance tried to regroup their fleets to respond to the coming final battle.
