Ch.401Humanity is Awakening (2)

Of course, even for the Biomass Clan, which was treated as one of the 3(+1) major clans…
Charging headfirst against the Loki Clan, which was more than three times their size, was an action that exceeded expectations in many ways.

Title: Breaking News) Current War Situation Between Regions.txt
Author: News Boy
Content: [3D world map model, with the entire Earth Federation territory marked as ‘Civil War’.gif]
Current situation summary is as follows:
First, as everyone knows, the Humanity Clan led by Antares is launching an all-out offensive with their subordinate clans, external mercenaries,
mercenary groups, and even Earth Federation forces they’ve recruited.
Naturally, the Earth Federation is responding with their main forces.

But even with established front lines, the situation is dangerous because Humanity is literally popping up everywhere,
and since the Earth Federation fleets were preemptively ambushed, they’re at a significant disadvantage.
Next are the other clans responding to the Humanity Clan.
Justice and Loki rushed in, but unfortunately, Justice can’t move freely because their forces were weakened by the event.
I don’t know if that’s true or not, but the user acting as the clan spokesperson says so.
And what about Loki?
Since they’re right next to Humanity, they tried to rush toward the Earth Federation as soon as the event ended,
but when most of Loki’s forces were concentrated in the southeast, the Biomass Clan from the monster faction stabbed Loki in the back.
But the Biomass Clan barely exceeds one-third of Loki Clan’s size?
When interviewed about why they did this, Tenta, the Biomass Clan leader, said:
-“Loki Clan’s spy bastards terrorized our main strongholds and destroyed our users’ fleets.”
And when I checked, several user bases destroyed by the Biomass Clan were confirmed.
Anyway, now Loki is hastily diverting half of their forces that were meant to check Humanity to the north,
while Biomass is stubbornly pushing forward.
(Addition)
Someone in the comments said Justice can’t move because they’re caught between Biomass on one side and the Xenovia civil war on the other. Thanks.

-[Wow, what a mess]
-[Everyone’s backstabbing each other]
-[Justice just can’t move]
-˪[For real?]
-˪[On one side, Biomass is invading the Loki Clan, and on the other side is the Xenovia Empire where users are in civil war]
-˪[They could go through the center]
-˪[As if central users and that Icarus guy would let a massive fleet from a huge clan pass through the central region full of solo players]

As it turned out, the incident occurred because Loki Clan’s “spies” had preemptively provoked the Biomass Clan first.
Most users were beginning to think, “As expected of a troll gathering, they charged in without assessing the situation.”
Or rather, given Loki Clan’s usual behavior of “deploying spies into other clans whenever they felt like it,”
some were even developing a “they had it coming” attitude.
==========
But for the Loki Clan themselves, they were thoroughly experiencing what it meant to feel wrongfully accused.

<Notice: See, you bastards, I was right>
-[Which idiot acted on their own?](Betelgeuse)
-[Not us]
-[At least none of the people we deployed, something’s weird]
-[Sigh… Antares that bastard is playing tricks](Betelgeuse)
-[Whoa]

Surprisingly, while it was true that Loki Clan had deployed spies to the Biomass Clan,
the ones who caused this commotion weren’t their spies but some random other users.
From Loki Clan’s perspective, being blamed for something they didn’t do was truly absurd.
Of course, Loki Clan tried to protest to the Biomass Clan, saying “It wasn’t us!” but…

When the Biomass Clan presented conditions that Loki Clan couldn’t accept,
Loki Clan chose to bear the slight dishonor rather than reveal their internal information network.
And though it’s somewhat awkward to say, while the Biomass Clan was quite large in its own right,
it was essentially just barely over one-third of their forces.

The Loki Clan users were showing strong determination to not only launch a defensive operation against Humanity,
but also to take this opportunity to crush the monster faction.
==========
And at the same time,
the users who “appeared” to belong to the Loki Clan were indeed getting destroyed, with their bases exploding as the Biomass Clan took revenge…

-[Whew, barely survived]

-[Ooooh]
-[Oooh]
-[Wow, really?]

As everyone had already guessed, these users were all Humanity Clan spies who had benchmarked Loki Clan’s tactics.
Having escaped by sacrificing their bases and most of their fleets, they were currently staying in the “Icarus Triangle Zone” after passing through the monster territory gateway, grinning at the thought of receiving compensation from Humanity.
And watching this spectacle, our protagonist Icarus…
==========
“Now even refugees without bases are coming here.”
“The war must have really intensified.”
With the event over, I was quietly gathering resources to build fortress cannons,
when suddenly dozens of “base-less” refugee users started fleeing through the Tannhäuser gateway one after another.
Thinking the world had become quite chaotic, I naturally began deploying not only security fleets,
but also my direct mercenary corps who hadn’t participated in the event and were in perfect condition.
Just in case those crazy people might try to attack the poor inhabitants of the Triangle Zone to get resources to rebuild their bases.
Or to prevent them from terrorizing the bases of “mercenary” users and “agent” users who had docked at Tannhäuser and left with most of their fleets to participate in the war between Humanity and the Earth Federation.
But fortunately, contrary to my expectations, these ragged refugee fleet users showed quite a slick and friendly(?) demeanor.
