After much deliberation (1 minute), I finally decided to make my decision.

“Let’s see, I’ll set up a minefield, fortress network, and barrier installation.”

“You have 1 point left. What will you use it for?”

“I should add another shield satellite. That way our ships won’t get scratched, right?”

“Commander, are you sure you don’t want to purchase anything else?”

“Well, especially for detection radar… I already have Khabarovsk that popped up after 998 rerolls of 10-pulls.”

    “Ah.”

After giving instructions to arrange the defensive facilities here and there.

“Jessica, quickly tell your minion friends to deploy the facilities.”

“Did you all hear that? Go and encourage them to install everything quickly.”

    “Oh…”

“Ms. Jessica, you’re maintaining a perfect hierarchical system.”

“Anyway, understood. Then I’ll give instructions to our ships.”

    “What a perfectly natural approach♡”

While Jessica naturally gave orders to the Superhumans, and the Superhumans commanded their NPC subordinates in a perfect chain of command…

I quietly opened the gallery window to check how other users were handling the situation.

For reference, Marian wasn’t participating in this event due to “deteriorating condition caused by various complicated reasons.”

As for the fleet’s strength excluding the aircraft carrier, it was essentially the same as Berial having the other Superhumans under her command.

However, at this point, I realized that contrary to my expectations, quite a few users had given up in the middle of the round…

    Title: Abandoning Round 5 lolololol

    WTF this doesn’t make sense

How can the frontal armor of a “Vladimir” class medium cruiser, which is supposed to be armor-reinforced, get pierced by a destroyer’s beam cannon?

    Are you kidding me?

After getting hit, the cruiser’s vital parts exploded and I got a “lucky critical damage” notification, so I quickly used a shield satellite to tank while repairing with an emergency repair ship

Then some battleship or battle cruiser fired, and the shield satellite couldn’t hold up

The beam came straight at us, and it couldn’t fully block it, so part of it hit the armor plating with a sizzling sound

As soon as I saw that mess, I realized the enemy firepower was insane and decided to just quit

Title: Enemies get crazy strong from Round 5

    Author: Anonymous

Content: [GIF of a cruiser exploding after being hit by 5-6 beam streams]

It’s not that all enemy ships are suddenly battleships, but their overall performance increases excessively

I see people in another post complaining about destroyers penetrating medium cruisers’ frontal armor

At battle cruiser level, their main guns can penetrate our regular cruisers even with layers of armor reinforcement

Of course, the power core and ammunition storage are super sturdy so they don’t get penetrated, but the rest of the ship gets penetrated except for the front

And they’re pretty tough too. Using destroyers as an example:

What we used to be able to destroy in one hit now survives, albeit in critical condition

It might not sound like much, but when you actually experience it, it’s infuriating

It’s just awful. If you’re not careful, you might lose your entire fleet just trying to complete this event

    ‘What the hell is this.’

After seeing the report posts from the vanguard users who had already started Round 5…

Assuming everything these people said was true, and assuming these users had properly leveled up…

The Round 5 I was about to face wouldn’t be as easy as the previous rounds.

    ‘Hmm, this is…’

No wonder other users were frantically claiming “This is a balance patch failure by the admins!!!”

And along with such statements, for some unknown reason, they were posting disturbing images to “burn down the gallery.”

Of course, I couldn’t understand why someone would post so-called “adult images” of something that had lost all semblance of human form.

Or why images of two elderly men enthusiastically filming something obscene even existed, let alone why anyone would post them in the gallery.

My brain automatically refused to even try understanding it.

After I, along with other moderators like Arcadia, worked hard to remove those crazy people and restore the gallery to normal…

    I calmly organized my thoughts…

And made one final patrol through the gallery to prepare for any potential trolls like Stop X-ker…

    ‘Good, no problems.’

After confirming there were no troublemakers who would bombard me with notification bombs…

With the vague confidence of ‘Surely the Dreadnought, other ships, Kraken and the kids can handle this?’ as my foundation…

I boldly decided to step toward Round 5…

…or rather, to press the start button.

Of course, just before pressing the button, an inexplicable anxiety wildly tore through my mind…

    ‘Ah, bad thoughts.’

Since such negative thoughts weren’t right, I shook my head and immediately threw them out of my mind.
