Ch.361Side Story 1 – Southern Continent Travelogue (16)

As Merin left the room, silence returned once again.
However, as expected, the quiet didn’t last long.
“M-Master!”
Jawill Wilson suddenly pounded the table and leaned forward.
His face was incredibly excited, a stark contrast to the composed demeanor he had maintained until now.
His eyes sparkled, and his lips were completely dry.
“This is an opportunity! A truly incredible opportunity!”
Jawill Wilson’s voice was brimming with excitement.
It even seemed about half an octave higher than usual.
I sighed briefly before speaking.
“Could you calm down a bit first?”
“No, Master! Isn’t this an offer too good to pass up?”
“Well, it is a tempting offer.”
“Honestly, wasn’t our purpose for coming here to visit pleasure quarters anyway?”
“This isn’t a pleasure quarter.”
“Isn’t it better than a pleasure quarter!? Getting to bed someone AND receiving payment for it? This is basically free money.”
“So you want to do it?”
Jawill Wilson tilted his head with a look of complete incomprehension.
“Master, do you have any interest in women?”
“If I didn’t, would I have done it with Jena?”
“Then why are you hesitating?”
“Because I don’t particularly want to sign a contract.”
Jawill Wilson abruptly stood up, placed one hand on his hip, and tapped the table again with the other.
“Look. She said they seek men periodically every five years, right? And only women who haven’t been with men do this, which means they’re virgins, doesn’t it!?”
“That’s not something to decide so easily.”
“Why on earth not!?”
I lightly pushed the magical contract on the table with my finger.
“This contract isn’t just a simple pledge. You have to breathe your soul into it!”
“So what if we have to breathe our souls into it?”
“It’s obviously going to be a life-or-death contract.”
At my words, Jawill Wilson’s eyes widened.
However, they quickly returned to normal as he grew even more excited, veins bulging in his neck.
“Even if that’s the case, couldn’t we decide after planting our seed first?”
This bastard…
He wasn’t this bad until we left the Southern Continent, so why is he so obsessed with women now?
Is he frustrated because he couldn’t do it in the Baltican territory?
“What are you going to do if you don’t sign the contract after planting your seed?”
“Well, we fight! Since you’re strong, Master, we’ll win anyway, right!?”
“…Are you insane?”
I slightly furrowed my brows in disbelief, and Jawill Wilson, seeming to realize he’d gone too far, cleared his throat.
“I suppose murder would be excessive. Then after having a wild time in bed…”
“After that?”
“Let’s escape.”
“…Huh?”
“They’ll want us to sign the contract before we’ve been with all the women, right?”
“I suppose so.”
“So we just need to have enough satisfying encounters and then flee in the night!”
It’s amazing how someone who normally can’t think straight suddenly becomes so cunning in situations like this…
I snickered before speaking.
“Since we’re both wearing transformation leather now, it would be hard for them to find us if we just take it off.”
“That’s exactly what I mean!”
“But wouldn’t we feel guilty?”
“Why would we feel guilty!? We just didn’t sign a contract. If only you and I keep it a secret for life, there’s no need to feel guilty at all!”
Jawill Wilson’s words flowed like a mountain stream.
His hunger for intimacy with other women was evident in how fluently he spoke.
But it wasn’t a bad plan.
I wasn’t planning to sign the contract anyway because it felt suspicious.
‘Having relations and then escaping…’
If we planned it well, we could flee in the night, change clothes, remove our transformation leather, and return to Lake territory.
Some unknown conscience was bothering me, but what could I do?
If we didn’t sign the contract, we’d be chased regardless.
Since it had come to this, I thought we shouldn’t feel unjustly pursued.
“Come to think of it, it doesn’t sound bad.”
“N-Now you finally understand my thinking, Master. I’m so moved!”
“So when do we escape?”
“First, we need to ask Merin how many women we need to sleep with. Even with a strong libido, there must be limits, right?”
“I suppose so.”
“Then once we know how many women we need to be with, we can escape a day or two before the end.”
Jawill Wilson’s mind was working suspiciously well.
I couldn’t help but be impressed.
“Wow… with this level of quick thinking, you could really be the head of the knights.”
“Haha… Rain Breaker is still holding that position, isn’t he? I’m satisfied being the vice-captain.”
“Hmm, now that I understand the plan, let’s call Merin back.”
“Yes! Right away!”
With a booming voice, Jawill Wilson went outside.
Shortly after, he returned with Merin.
“Sir Casian, have you made your decision?”
“First, how many women do I need to sleep with?”
“Eight in total, ranging from 20 to 24 years old.”
It wasn’t as burdensome a number as I had expected.
I straightened my back and twitched my eyebrows.
“Do I need to sleep with one each night?”
“That’s up to you. If you wish, you can sleep with multiple women at once.”
At those words, Jawill Wilson seemed excited again, his cheekbones quivering.
I shook my head and spoke.
“I’ll need time to rest too.”
“You can set your rest days freely. And…”
Merin trailed off, cleared her throat, and continued.
“If there’s a woman you particularly like, you can sleep with her as many times as you want. But!”
“But?”
“You must sleep with each woman at least once.”
This was a course that would cost quite a lot even in a pleasure quarter.
Moreover, they hadn’t set a deadline?
That meant we could enjoy ourselves fully and escape whenever we chose.
*Clap!*
Seeing me hesitate slightly, Merin clapped her hands loudly.
As the sharp, brief sound cut through the silence, light footsteps were heard from outside.
Soon the door opened, and women wearing light combat attire in black and red harmony began to appear one by one.
There were eight of them in total.
They weren’t as tall as Merin, but as each one entered the room, the atmosphere subtly changed.
Some walked with confident strides, while others moved with gentle yet dignified demeanor.
However, they all had one thing in common.
They were all strikingly beautiful.
“What do you think?”
“Th-They’re all beautiful.”
A woman with distinct features.
A woman approaching with a haughty smile.
A woman scanning the room with defiant eyes.
A woman with an innocent expression but somehow inscrutable aura.
They each had different personalities, but by a single standard, they all possessed enchanting beauty while maintaining the toned physiques of mercenaries.
‘She deliberately brought them to show off their faces and figures, huh?’
I felt somewhat relieved when I learned there were only eight, but dealing with each one individually was still no light task.
However, if Jawill Wilson and I divided them, we’d have four each.
I concluded it wasn’t an overwhelming number.
Taking a deep breath, I looked at Jawill Wilson.
“Do you want to choose first?”
“Ah, no, that’s alright.”
“No, you go first.”
“Are you sure that’s okay?”
“I don’t mind.”
Since they all had exceptional looks with none falling short, I offered him the first choice, causing Jawill Wilson’s eyes to sparkle.
He quietly scanned the women and whispered.
“This is what they call a happy dilemma.”
“If you don’t choose first, I will.”
“No, no! I’ll choose first!”
As Jawill Wilson raised his voice, the air in the room seemed to pause momentarily.
Then, Merin tilted her head and asked with a puzzled expression.
“…Excuse me? What are you talking about?”
Merin’s unexpected reaction made me furrow my brow slightly.
“What’s wrong? Don’t we get to choose?”
“Th-That’s not it…”
Could it be that instead of dividing them, we each have to sleep with all of them once?
That would mean I’d have to sleep with women who had been with Jawill Wilson.
With an incredulous expression, I pointed at Jawill Wilson.
“No matter what, I can’t sleep with women who’ve been with my subordinate.”
Merin silently shifted her gaze to the female mercenaries.
She slowly examined each one before turning her attention back to me.
“Didn’t you say they were all… beautiful?”
As she finished speaking, silence fell over the room once again.
With an expressionless face, I looked at Merin and spoke quietly.
“…I did, didn’t I?”
“W-We need to extract superior genes.”
“Superior genes?”
At my question, Merin pointed at Jawill Wilson with an unwavering voice.
“What was your name, sir?”
“…Teiran.”
“Ah! We only need Sir Teiran. After discussing with my subordinates, they all want Sir Teiran.”
“W-What!?”
“Sir Casian, I’m afraid… we’ll provide you with delicious meals and comfortable lodging until Sir Teiran has finished relations with all the women. Of course, you’ll receive the same payment, so don’t worry.”
I had forgotten again that we were wearing transformation leather.
In that moment, my cheekbones began to quiver subtly from the embarrassment of having spoken up.
Just as I wanted to hide in a mouse hole, Jawill Wilson shrugged his shoulders and looked at me.
“That’s what they’re saying.”
