Chapter Index

Meanwhile, just as the full-scale migration from Avalon-Barracuda to Tannhäuser was about to begin.

I heard some rather unexpected stories from certain users who had been coming from Avalon or Barracuda.

    <Avalon-Barracuda-Tannhäuser Residents Chat Room>

<Notice: Those migrating to Tannhäuser, check in here>

-[Wow, our village chief, I mean ranker community]

-[Even organizing an escort fleet for us, thank you thank you]

    -[Seems a bit old-fashioned though;;;]

    -[But we’re grateful, right?]

    -[Agreed]

    -[Huh?](Icarus)

    —————————————–

‘What on earth are they talking about?’

For some reason, they were saying I was “escorting” them.

I was just sitting at the command center thinking “Ah, I want to gather resources and build a big fucking gun!” while fiddling with Jessica’s soft bunny ears.

Or recovering from mental fatigue by feeling the soft, squishy sensation of her thighs wrapped in black stockings… as mentioned above.

I couldn’t help but have the reaction that this was truly “unexpected news.”

But that thought didn’t last long.

As the users in the chat started chattering away on their own, I began to understand what was going on.

    <Avalon-Barracuda-Tannhäuser Residents Chat Room>

<Notice: Those migrating to Tannhäuser, check in here>

-[Like, when coming from Barracuda and Avalon to here, security fleets were patrolling between them]

    -[For real]

-[Only one fleet was moving around, where was that from?]

-[Honestly, everyone from Avalon and Barracuda had their fleets in terrible condition]

-[Never thought you’d go this far for us, seriously]

    —————————————–

    ‘What?’

This was something neither I nor Jessica, who handles all sorts of miscellaneous tasks, knew about.

Unexpectedly, after I conquered Tannhäuser, the security fleets from each of my existing bases had apparently decided on their own to patrol between the bases.

And seeing these security fleets on patrol, some users who had only docked their bases at Tannhäuser without bringing their fleets—requiring them to navigate individually to bring them—had apparently come along with those security fleets.

Anyway, as I saw users expressing their gratitude, saying their resource-laden fleets weren’t plundered thanks to my security fleets, I felt somewhat bewildered.

But I decided not to show that in the chat and naturally accepted their praise.

Of course, that appearance was only maintained in the chat.

“So Commander, why exactly are the security fleets moving around on their own?”

“Hmm… wait, I definitely remembered the reason.”

After closing the chat, I was trying to recall why these fleets, which had stayed put when I only had two bases, were suddenly patrolling between bases now.

Of course, this required digging up memories from nearly 6 years ago, as it’s been over 5 years already.

After struggling for 5 minutes on my own, I decided I was just wasting time and immediately opened the Omnipotent Gallery wiki tab to search for information.

And in less than a minute after starting my search, I found exactly what I was looking for.

Title: Guide for Clans That Have Conquered Multiple Bases.txt

    Author: Wiki Historian mk-53

Content: [Image of triangular vertices with arrows showing fleet movement.jpg]

If you’ve conquered 2 or fewer bases, hit back and leave

When a clan conquers 3 or more bases, the bases begin to form an organic security system

What this means is that security fleets from each base patrol between bases on guard duty

The security fleets regularly patrol routes between each base

And in the “internal area” created by connecting 3 or more bases, one security fleet from each base patrols the area

And as they patrol, if they encounter hostile neutrals or enemies, they automatically respond and contact the clan that owns the base

Oh, and though it’s unlikely, if a single user conquers 3 bases, they’ll be contacted in the same way

    Comments

-[Oh so that’s why our clan’s security fleets were moving around randomly]

-[Does this mean fewer security fleets remain at the base? Or are these separate fleets that are newly created?]

-˪[The base security fleets are moving, so the standby fleets do decrease](Author)

    -˪[Is that so?]

-˪[To be precise, 1 fleet that originally emerged from the base for guard duty, 1 fleet patrolling between bases, and 1 fleet patrolling the internal security zone—so a total of 3 are taken out](Author)

    -˪[Eh, that’s ambiguous]

    —————————————–

‘Ah, so that’s what it was.’

Before being possessed here, I never had the opportunity to conquer bases myself.

And with my clan having various issues, I only knew this intellectually without experiencing it directly.

My body hadn’t learned it, so I couldn’t recall it immediately.

But now that I fully understand, there shouldn’t be any more major problems.

So I decided to continue enjoying this peaceful time, feeling the sensation of Jessica’s thighs.

    ==========

But a week after experiencing the above incident.

Title: Recent Status of Settlement Communities in the Central Zone.txt

    Author: Anonymous

Content: [Image of settlement communities clustered together, with differently shaped toads doing their own tasks.jpg]

Whether they went to other zones, got kicked out for not joining a clan and causing trouble

Or returned after suffering from territorial harassment

Or were originally in the central zone and constantly getting raided by users with plunderer tendencies

Settlement community users are quietly gathering in the Icarus Triangle Zone

Of course, Icarus’s bases are already mostly full, so they can’t dock at the bases

But since nobody cares what you do inside the triangle zone, settlement community users who were suffering from other users are heading there

    Comments

-[Through exodus, we have found the land of milk and honey]

-[This is the holy land of Israel!]

    -˪[Nothing… Everything!]

-[Next, Zionists will emerge from there, stage a coup against Icarus, and take over the bases?]

-˪[If they try that, 400,000 mercenaries + 400,000 base fleet guys will beat them up saying “this guy”]

-˪[Hearing that, the numbers are insane]

Title: The Hilarious Thing About the Triangle Zone Right Now

    Author: Anonymous

Content: [Gif of a settler(?) fleet being shredded by security fleet bombardment]

This is obvious, but since Icarus has marked everyone as neutral or hostile neutral except for users docked at his bases and a few others

Settlement fleets trying to enter the triangle zone occasionally get caught by security fleets and are driven away

And users who can’t forget the taste of plundering and try to enter also get caught by security fleets and are driven away

Of course, a well-developed user fleet could defeat a single security fleet

But when a security fleet gets destroyed, additional fleet(s) are immediately teleported from Tannhäuser to that area, resulting in a terrible end for most

    Comments

-[Then don’t users who entered the triangle zone also get attacked?]

-˪[The system seems to treat those who’ve settled inside the triangle zone as something between friendly neutral and neutral](Author)

-˪[More precisely, they don’t touch you as long as you don’t attack first]

    -˪[I see]

-[The triangle zone where everyone is happy~]

    —————————————–

My territory was suddenly being called by the mysterious name “Icarus Triangle Zone,” and beyond being a “neutral area” of the central zone.

It was developing a reputation as some kind of sanctuary, giving me quite a peculiar feeling.
