<Self-Destruct Prevention and Ship Capture Successful!>

    <Details>

<You have successfully prevented the Ouroboros-class from self-destructing and acquired the ship!>

    <Result>

    <Acquired Ouroboros-class Annihilation-type Siege Heavy Battleship x1>

    —————————————–

    ‘Kyaaaaaaaa.’

    “Kieeeeeeeeeek!!!”

“Wow, the Commander is going wild again.”

With Arcadia’s help, we successfully captured the engine room.

As soon as that damn self-destruct event was disabled, I could finally see that large and beautiful Ouroboros come into my possession.

Of course, right after that, some enemy ships that survived Arcadia’s fleet regrouped around their last battleship.

“Commander, enemy fleet is regrouping and advancing toward us!”

    “Oh.”

They were charging fiercely toward us, trying to reclaim their precious Ouroboros-class ship, but…

“Is the Ouroboros fully operational now?”

“Yes, since we conquered it without tampering with the ship’s functions.”

“Good, now that we’ve got a new ship, let’s start it up.”

    “Understood.”

    Not a chance.

Now that we’ve successfully taken control of the Ouroboros-class, they’re charging at us in a tight formation for assault.

This is essentially the developers wanting us to experience the Ouroboros-class’s concentrated fire… that must be their intention, right?

‘Come to think of it, that’s quite likely…’

From before, how should I put it.

When users acquire a completely new ship like this, a special ship,

To address the question ‘So how do I use this thing?’, the developers would automatically trigger a sort of event battle.

Through that battle, they would naturally show ‘how to use’ the ship, so…

‘Hmm, I never thought I’d start the first main cannon firing and leveling like this.’

With that thought, I immediately ordered the Ouroboros to fire its ‘flamethrower’ at the enemy fleet.

“Ouroboros, commence attack on the enemy fleet ahead immediately.”

    -“Understood, Commander!”

And right after my order was given.

After some incredibly complex firing procedures were carried out from the Ouroboros bridge.

-“Concentrated mode, fire at maximum output!!!”

With those spirited words from the bridge crew, massive energy began to surge within the elongated barrel on the underside of the Ouroboros.

Then at the muzzle… no, in front of the ship, several blue glowing halos formed in layers and began spinning.

Eventually, a massive amount of plasma… or some unknown energy spewed from the barrel and rushed between those halos, compressing and compressing further.

After the red energy became so concentrated that it glowed white-hot, the halos were released.

Then that powerful energy bound within began to stretch forward with an intense flash of light…

And when our magnificent torrent of energy engulfed the enemy fleet.

    -Kwaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Except for the battleships and heavy cruisers, the rest of the ships were annihilated in just a few seconds, just like our fleet had been.

More precisely, they couldn’t withstand the overwhelming power of the torrent, and their hulls were shattered into pieces before they could even “melt.”

The heavy cruisers followed about 5 seconds later.

Starting from the bow, all parts caught in the torrent melted like ice cream on a hot summer day before exploding.

Finally, the battleship, as if living up to its name.

Having the toughest armor among conventional ships, it managed to hold out for more than 10 seconds, but…

    That didn’t last long.

The protruding bridge, other structures, and main turret barrels began to melt like taffy.

Eventually, when the red-hot frontal armor began to melt.

The ammunition storage and energy batteries inside the battleship couldn’t withstand the heat, and a series of explosions erupted from various parts of the reddened hull.

Not long after, a massive explosion engulfed the entire ship, shattering the battleship’s hull into pieces.

Of course, that massive explosion and the debris that tried to scatter in all directions…

Were immediately blown away to some distant part of space by the Ouroboros’s energy torrent that continued to pour out.

And after witnessing this fucking awesome maximum output concentrated bombardment from the Ouroboros in real-time, I…

    -Clap clap clap clap clap!

    “A glorious sight indeed.”

“Commander, you look disturbingly like a dictator right now.”

    “Silence, Jessica.”

Clapping like a seal, similar to how North Korean leaders applaud ICBM launch scenes, I couldn’t hide my joy thinking about how much use this would be in future battles.

Just the existence of this weapon would be such a tremendous “help” in future base assaults or fleet battles.

And I decided to express my gratitude to our Arcadia who made this source of joy possible.

    -[Thank you]

-[Thanks to you, I got this]

    -[I’m truly grateful!!!](Icarus)

    -[It’s nothing]

-[We won thanks to your hard work, Icarus](Arcadia)

    ‘She’s… a saint!’

Even in this situation, she doesn’t put on airs.

Just as she said, she doesn’t claim any share of the Ouroboros-class.

Looking at Arcadia like this, both during the ancient empire event before and now being so kind to me.

I could feel my affection for her increasing exponentially in my heart.

    -[lolololol]

-[If you were next to me, I might have hugged you tight](Icarus)

    -[Ah yes](Arcadia)

-[Oh, not sexual harassment, I mean]

-[Just that I’m so grateful I wanted to do that, yeah]

    -[Really, for real](Icarus)

    —————————————–

Of course, after blurting that out in the chat window, when Arcadia’s short reply came only after 10 minutes.

I hastily spammed excuses, trying desperately to cover up my mistake.

    ==========

    Contrary to Icarus’s urgent feelings.

The reason Arcadia took 10 minutes to reply was none other than…

    “Hueeeeh, hueeeeeh.”

    “Commander.”

“What should I do, what should I do? Icarus wants to hug and pounce on me!”

    “I don’t think that’s what he meant.”

“How many children should we have? Howww…”

“It seems our Commander has broken down.”

    “Indeed.”

As soon as she saw Icarus’s chat, her brain went into overdrive.

With a throbbing lower abdomen, she fell into fantasies about living happily ever after with 50 children or so.

Of course, there was no way for Icarus to know this.

After 10 minutes, Arcadia somehow regained her senses and tried to bury this fact as dark history.

The only ones who knew this fact were Arcadia’s adjutant who was at the base command center at the time, and one unnamed Superhuman.

    ==========

Anyway, after quickly apologizing with a dogeza to Arcadia-sama.

After dealing with the remaining small ships that survived by being outside the range of the concentrated mode attack.

‘Your fleet is annihilated, GG’ is what the battle results screen was telling us.

And looking at the Ouroboros, which had become a monstrosity like a FIFA frog with assault pods stuck all over it.

I decided to take a screenshot of this glorious victory scene and post it on the gallery to celebrate our magnificent triumph.
