Chapter Index

    Ch.337337. Taking Turns?

    “What did you say?”

“Princess Etherian and Princess Sairine went to the Miracle Forest as soon as they arrived at the Lake Territory mansion.”

“Why are they going there again?”

“They said they’re shopping. Apparently, they had many things they wanted to buy when they visited last time.”

I had prepared some light refreshments in the reception room and was waiting, but what’s this all about?

Shouldn’t they at least see the face of their future husband before leaving?

I sighed briefly and jerked my chin toward the sofa across from Jawill Wilson.

    “Sit down.”

    “…Pardon?”

“Since I’ve already prepared refreshments anyway, let’s eat together.”

    “Ah, understood.”

Jawill Wilson sits on the opposite sofa and takes a bite of a snack before speaking.

“By the way, I observed the atmosphere among the knights earlier, and it seems they still can’t believe that you’re marrying both princesses.”

“Federicks said the same thing. I heard the territory residents think it’s somewhat of an exaggerated rumor?”

“Indeed. Come to think of it, if I hadn’t gone to Lumestia Territory with you, I might have found it hard to believe as well.”

    “It is quite something.”

Jawill Wilson takes another bite of his snack and then hesitates.

“A-are you perhaps having your wedding night with both princesses today?”

“The wedding night should come after marriage.”

    “Ah… why not?”

Since I didn’t really have anyone else to consult with, I decided to share my concerns with Jawill Wilson and adjusted my posture.

“Let’s say, for example, that you were me.”

    “You, young master?”

    “I mean, let’s just assume.”

    “Yes, please continue.”

“If you were me, which of the two princesses would you have your wedding night with first?”

Jawill Wilson tilts his head in confusion.

“Why would that be a concern? Obviously, you should have your wedding night with both of them simultaneously.”

    “Why?”

“Because the princess who has to wait would feel disappointed.”

If even Jawill Wilson is saying the same thing as Princess Sairine, it seems I really do need to have the wedding night with both of them simultaneously.

But how am I supposed to balance the bedroom activities?

    Taking turns?

Or should I start with Etherian since she’s older?

Then what would Sairine be doing in the meantime?

Would she be watching and waiting for her turn?

Damn it… I need experience to know these things.

    I sighed briefly before speaking.

“Sigh, if you can’t avoid it, should you just enjoy it?”

“Young master, aren’t you worrying about something too fortunate? It makes me feel a bit envious.”

“From a distance, everything looks like comedy.”

“If you’re stressed about it, wouldn’t it be better to just have the wedding night today? The sooner you face the rod, the less it hurts.”

Should I just get it over with tonight?

    Hah…

Then I probably won’t get any rest until they bear children.

How did marriage suddenly turn into such a hardcore affair?

“I feel sorry for Brother Leonard now.”

“Why suddenly bring up Young Master Leonard?”

Well, because he used hypnosis to have relations with Seri Familia.

That incident even caused Leonard to flee to Lake Territory.

I should have lived a more virtuous life. Is this karma?

I waved my hand dismissively in the air.

“Never mind. When are you going to confess to Clara?”

“I-I’ll do it soon. But, young master, something seems off.”

    “What’s off?”

“It feels like you’re urging me to get married because you don’t want to suffer alone.”

This guy has definitely become more perceptive than before.

I cleared my throat and avoided his gaze.

    “What are you talking about?”

“Look at this. Why are you suddenly avoiding my eyes?”

I’ve heard that in situations like this, the one with the louder voice wins.

I clenched my fists and raised my voice.

“I heard the knights and mercenaries are all going crazy over how pretty Clara is. Are you just going to let someone else take her?!”

    “N-no, I won’t.”

“Then hurry up and confess before someone else does!”

    “…Understood.”

As I was crossing my arms heavily and savoring my victory, Federicks entered the reception room.

    He bowed respectfully toward me.

“Young master, Princess Etherian and Princess Sairine have arrived.”

“Already? Then bring out fresh refreshments and tell them to come to the reception room.”

In response to my words, Federicks gave me a mischievous look and grinned.

“The princesses request your presence in the bedroom.”

    *

“Sairine, we agreed to have our wedding night after marriage.”

As soon as I entered the bedroom, I blinked in confusion, and Sairine tilted her head.

    “Who said anything about that?”

“T-then why did you want to meet in the bedroom?”

“Well, I just wanted to see what your bedroom looks like.”

See the bedroom, my foot. The last time she visited Lake Territory, she already came with alcohol. What kind of game is she playing?

Princess Etherian was already sitting at the table drinking alcohol.

    It seems they’ve come prepared?

I tried to hide my flustered expression and sat down naturally in a chair.

Then I looked at Princess Etherian sitting across from me.

    “How was your shopping?”

“I do not enjoy shopping. I merely accompanied Sairine.”

    “Nothing you wanted?”

“Nothing. I have already obtained what I desired most—you.”

I widened my eyes slightly at Princess Etherian’s bold statement.

“…You must have had a lot to drink…?”

“I have been drinking, but I am not lying.”

Princess Sairine, who had taken a seat in the chair beside me, tilted her head.

“Why aren’t you drinking, Selden Alphonse?”

“I’m not particularly in the mood, since I suspect you might have drugged the alcohol.”

At that, Princess Sairine covered her mouth and smiled broadly.

“You’re better at joking than I expected, Selden Alphonse.”

    It’s not a joke, it’s the truth…

Perhaps because of what happened with Luna Brillhart before, I have an ominous feeling.

To be honest, since Etherian and Sairine are my future wives, I’m more tolerant about being taken advantage of.

But this wouldn’t be my first time in bed, would it?

Selden Alphonse has his pride too.

As I hesitated, Princess Sairine poured alcohol into my glass and then gulped it down herself.

    “…Are you satisfied now?”

“Hmm, I feel much better now.”

I nodded with a serious expression, and Princess Sairine closed one eye slightly before opening it again.

“Is it okay for my future husband to be this cute?”

I hurriedly looked away from Princess Sairine with her seductive gaze, and this time Princess Etherian, who had been silently listening to the conversation, spoke up.

    “…But where will we live?”

“For the time being, we’ll have to live here.”

“What about that small house in the forest you mentioned to me?”

“Even if we start building it now, it would take quite a long time. And living in a small house would be difficult now.”

“I suppose that’s because there’s one more person to marry.”

“That’s part of it, but didn’t you say we need to have many children? Wouldn’t living in a small house be impractical?”

At my words, Princess Etherian cleared her throat with a reddened face.

“Ahem, you’re right. Considering the children too, a mansion the size of Lake Territory wouldn’t be bad.”

…Just how many children is she planning to have that she wants a place as big as Lake Territory mansion?

They usually don’t even listen to Emperor Malius, so why are they so obedient on this matter?

I pressed my fingers against my throbbing temples and spoke.

“By the way, what brings both of you to Lake Territory?”

“Sairine came to shop, and I merely accompanied her.”

“You came all the way to Lake Territory to shop?”

“Sairine insisted she had to shop at the Miracle Forest.”

Seeing that further questioning would likely yield predictable answers, I gave up and picked up my wine glass.

“When are you planning to leave?”

At that, Sairine poked her head toward me.

“Would you like my sister and me to leave Lake Territory quickly?”

“That’s not it, but don’t you need to return to the imperial palace to prepare for the wedding?”

“We’ve already made wedding preparations before you came to the imperial palace.”

    “Ah… really?”

“We just need to decide on a location. Well, that’s something our parents will decide, but where would you like it to be, Selden Alphonse? Alphonse Territory? Or Lumestia Territory?”

    “I prefer Lake Territory.”

    “…What?”

Seeing Princess Sairine blinking at my unexpected answer, I smiled gently.

“I was practically born in Lake Territory. Of course, it’s just my preference.”

    CRASH-!

Suddenly, a loud noise rang in my ears.

Someone had broken through the glass window and invaded the bedroom.

I immediately stood up to protect the princesses and tensed my neck.

    “W-who’s there?!”

My vigilant gaze didn’t last long.

Because I recognized the face of the woman pushing back her disheveled long hair.

    “…Lucien?”

Her expression was like that of a predator eyeing its prey, filled with anger.

Unlike her usual self, sharp and fierce flames were burning in Lucien’s eyes.

She approached me step by step, unbuttoning her white shirt one by one, and spoke.

    “Father, my body feels strange…”
