Although the content was quite embarrassing from my perspective.
At least I understood what they wanted, so that’s fortunate, I guess.
At the very least, they weren’t a highway robber(?) saying, “Give it to me, or I’ll kill you!”
But those words from the user called “Penicillin” gave me rather complicated thoughts.
Setting everything else aside, there wasn’t a single other user docked at this Avalon Fortress where I currently was.
So I was about to tell the user that I had never granted them docking permission and they must be mistaken…
“Commander, Commander.”
“Yes?”
“I was thinking about what you said, and what if we allow docking at our base for a fee?”
“…You mean selling docking rights?”
Hearing Jessica’s interesting suggestion, I felt my ears perk up.
Of course, previously it would have been impossible for users from different clans to dock at another user’s base, so I would have ignored it…
‘Come to think of it, that’s not the case anymore.’
With the recent update, now other users could dock at a base with the base owner’s permission as long as they were in a “friendly neutral” state.
I nodded at Jessica’s suggestion, thinking it was quite plausible, and decided to discuss the details.

After discussing with Jessica, I presented a “reasonable” price proposal.
I made it clear that I would allow docking at the base as long as they accepted these terms.
And well… naturally, whether it was the Village users or that passing user.
Since they could naturally use a level 5 base by paying just a small fee.
They were showing very positive reactions, saying they would gladly pay that price.

But if there was one thing I hadn’t considered…
Why did I have that “Penicillin” user invited to the <Village Chat Room> and speak there?
The intention was ‘Since you came and started this conversation, I’ll include you, but don’t go blabbing about it outside.’
Yet our Penicillin, right after docking at the base.

“Well, yes.”
After saying that, they went ahead and spread the information on the gallery without giving us any notice.

I was scouting with my ship and happened to pass by Avalon
There were a bunch of bases there
So I wondered if they were allowing friendly neutral users to dock and went to check
They let you dock at the base if you pay a sufficient fee

Just having my base docked at a stronghold makes me feel somehow reassured

Naturally, after Penicillin arbitrarily posted something like that.

I was dumbfounded to see that there were already over 50 user bases in front of me.
And the number of bases was still increasing.
But that thought didn’t last long.
As the number of users rushing in exceeded three digits, I decided to write a post on the gallery to block this crazy refugee(?) influx.
Of course, the main reason was that it was too many for me to manage…

If I wasn’t careful, surrounding users might react as if this situation was trying to create a “clan.”
I wanted to preemptively counter the unintended birth of “my clan” due to this situation…

Whether they were truly trying to make this a “neutral zone” of the central district.
When the three major clans suddenly showed interest in placing some kind of “representative office” at my base, I felt an immediate sense of rejection.
But that didn’t last long.
“Hmm… come to think of it, if I let the three major clans dock their bases, wouldn’t other users naturally be more cautious?”
“I suppose so. Honestly, if the three major clans seriously invaded, the central district would have a hard time holding out.”
Rather than dealing with everything by myself, I judged that the very presence of those clans would serve as a deterrent to mischievous users.
So I decided to send a warm welcome to the three clans that had contacted me.
