Of course, in response to the criticism on the gallery, the so-called “temporary clan” soon posted an explanation defending their position.

Title: We’re Just a Temporary Clan, Planning to Disband After the Battle

    Author: Aurora

Content: [Chat verification from top 10 solo rankers excluding the protagonist.jpg]

    Yes

This is guaranteed by the rankers who have some credibility. Thanks.

Our goal is to create a stronghold that users can freely use, and for everyone to extract resources from it. Yes.

    Comments:

    -[Heeeeeh]

-[How is this different from Walpurgis?]

-˪[They were doing things secretly and got exposed through negative PR, while these guys are openly advertising that they’re a temporary clan with guarantees]

    -˪[That’s ambiguous]

    —————————————–

Regardless, once the self-proclaimed temporary clan posted their explanation with the “guarantee” from the rankers prominently displayed, public opinion in the gallery shifted to “I guess they’re trustworthy enough,” with murmurs of approval.

However, some newbie users still couldn’t understand and had a meltdown(?).

Title: But if 1000 people take a stronghold, wouldn’t each person’s share be ridiculously small?

    Author: Anonymous

Content: [Image of a toad with a question mark]

    For real

Even if you take a stronghold, you only get about 100,000 resources and a few thousand gold

If 1000 people share that, wouldn’t each person get just pocket change?

    Comments:

    [What are you talking about?]

-˪[When you dock at a stronghold, the user docked at the center gets the most, and the rest get one-third of what the central user receives]

    -˪[Oh really?](Author)

-˪[That’s correct, I asked a friend to let me dock at a level 1 stronghold before, and I received one-third]

    —————————————–

But this wasn’t really proper trolling—it was just gallery-style attention-seeking from someone who genuinely didn’t know. This led to a minor incident where self-proclaimed wikis and know-it-alls who love explaining things rushed in to provide information.

Title: Senile newbie grandpas who’ve never taken a stronghold, read THIS.txt

    Author: Anonymous

Content: [Image of a toad pointing at its head saying “think” with a frog underneath]

I’m writing this because surprisingly many people don’t know

The resource income from strongholds works like this: the clan leader or user docked at the center gets 100%, right?

Then users docked around them get about 30-35%

And before any idiots say “That’s not right! The stronghold I docked at was different!” just shut up and listen

Each stronghold has different buffs and detailed resource figures when you dock

Some don’t give resources at all but give fleet points instead

    Some give ONLY gold

Some are completely optimized for “self-defense” like the Avalon Fortress that was trending recently

And some are optimized for “movement” like the Tannhäuser Gate Fortress that’s trending now

Also, the percentage ratio changes depending on the stronghold level

These percentages are based on the central position.

Level 1 gives you 50%, but by level 3 it drops below 40%

From level 5, it definitely drops below 30%

Level 7 and above always gives less than 15%

    Comments:

-[Ah I see, I perfectly understand now]

-˪[This guy wwwww his brain is already broken wwww]

-[Wait, doesn’t that mean taking higher-level strongholds is disadvantageous for resource income?]

    -˪[I don’t understand]

-˪[The absolute amount is higher for higher-level places]

-˪[When level 1 gives 100 and you take 50, level 5 gives 1000 and you take 300, level 7 gives 10000 and you take 1500]

    -˪[Ah, I see]

-[Not just resources, but gold, fleet points, and everything else mentioned above works similarly, FYI!]

    -˪[Thanks, thumbs up hedgehog]

    —————————————–

…But unlike the users who were leaving comments of “adequate” understanding, the clan leader “Aurora” and the users around her had different thoughts.

“Honestly, even if rankers guaranteed it, what can they do once we take the stronghold?”

    “I agree.”

“If we just stall for about a week after taking the stronghold, there’s nothing rankers can do about it.”

    “Kyaaaa.”

Despite having guarantees from the rankers, the moment they take the stronghold, they planned to make excuses about needing time for preparations and drag things out. Once the Tannhäuser’s defense forces regenerated, they intended to officially form a clan and focus on growth.

Of course, this would burn bridges with their existing ranker connections, but…

    “Honestly, isn’t taking Tannhäuser enough?”

“If push comes to shove, we can ally with Icarus as fellow stronghold holders.”

    “Would Icarus accept us?”

“Considering Avalon is right nearby, it would be hard for him to refuse… Plus, could he really reject a clan with a thousand members making a direct request?”

    “That’s true.”

    “Hmm.”

They judged that taking Tannhäuser would be profitable enough to sacrifice those connections, so they didn’t consider it a major issue.

But while Aurora and her inner circle were plotting their betrayal, they weren’t the only ones with such intentions.

    <Notice: Non-rankers♡ Get out♡>

-[By the way, what will everyone do if Aurora takes the stronghold and plays dumb?]

-[I think we all have our own methods](Menaldo)

-[Forget playing dumb, would we just leave the opportunity to take the stronghold?]

-[What are you going to do?](Indefatigable)

-[I got consulting from old man Koenig and planted traitors inside the clan](Menaldo)

    -[Oh, you too?](Laura)

    -[Me too](Indefatigable)

    -[LOLOLOLOLOLOL](Koenig)

-[Since when were we connected by a sacred neural network?](Menaldo)

-[Honestly, it’s hard to just trust Aurora, right?]

    -[Agreed]

    -[Agreed]

    -[Strongly agreed]

    —————————————–

The top rankers were wary of Aurora’s betrayal, and the other guarantors had also planted traitors within the “temporary clan” to prepare for Aurora’s backstabbing. They planned to immediately cause internal strife if Aurora betrayed them and tried to establish an official clan.

    And finally…

    —————————————–

<Group of People Praying to God on a Ship>

-[That name is really well chosen]

-[So we attack the moment Aurora brings her base to dock at the stronghold?]

-[Yes, there seem to be about 10 people in Aurora’s inner circle]

-[We quickly attack when they’re off guard, destroy them, and hand the position to another nearby user]

-[We’ll give it to whoever lost the most fleet power, and if they try to strengthen their forces, we crush them immediately?]

    -[Nice, perfect plan]

    -[Should be enough, right?]

    -[For real lol]

    —————————————–

Some of the internal traitors planted by the rankers and guarantors were planning to double-cross both Aurora and the guarantors to take the stronghold for themselves.

    —————————————–

<Tannhäuser Strategy Clan Temporary Inquiry Room>

    -[Hey hey hey hey]

    -[???]

    -[<Chat image verification shot>]

-[There are traitors inside the clan, be careful]

    -[Oh…]

    —————————————–

Meanwhile, some were betraying those plotters by reporting back to Aurora and the clan, hoping to secure a position for themselves in the future.

It was truly a war of all against all.
