# Fairy Tail
The Kingdom of Fairies, a fantastical land normally covered in illusion magic where no unauthorized beings can enter.
Legend says that if you’re invited to Fairy Tail, fairies will welcome you with dancing, singing, and flowers, offering all kinds of treasures.
Many people still search for this kingdom of fairies, enchanted by such legends, but while rumors abound, its location has never been revealed.
In this place, a massive Minotaur was moving his body.
*Woooosh—*
Wind sounds emerged as he rotated his shoulders and arms as if testing them. *Woosh— Woosh—* As he swung his arms, actual wind was generated, which served as nothing less than an amusement ride for the fairies.
“Kyaaaah—!!”
“Ahahahaha—!!!”
“I’m flying—!!!!”
The fairies used the wind created by my arm movements like an amusement ride, flying around me as they played in the breeze.
When I stopped swinging my arms, they approached and begged me to do it again. As I rotated my arms once more, they giggled with delight.
After playing with these children for a while, I moved to where the Queen was when I heard she was calling for me.
Though I say I moved, given my enormous size, what was a distance that would take fairies over 10 minutes to fly was less than a minute’s journey for me.
When I arrived where the Queen was, she and Mary welcomed me.
“Welcome! How’s your arm? We put you in the Healing Spring to attach it, and the Queen, myself, and the fairies all contributed as much power as we could! Does it feel okay?”
Indeed. Having woken up after a month, I was amazed to find my left arm completely intact. It had been dangling precariously, nearly severed, and the flesh on my chest had fallen away, exposing my ribs…
I don’t know what magic they used, but even the hole in my proud horn had disappeared.
I nodded with a satisfied smile at this perfect healing, which delighted both the Queen and Mary. Their pure joy, as if it were their own achievement, naturally brought a smile to my face.
“Oh, and Khan. That… thing where your appearance changes? The Queen has something to say about that.”
“Moo-?”
I looked at her, wondering if the Queen knew about my trait, and she began to speak.
“Khan, your transformation ability is… too dangerous. No matter how powerful an ability is, if you can’t control it and are instead controlled by it to the point of self-destruction… You need to find a way to control this power, even now.”
I pondered her words, though it wasn’t something I had wanted to obtain in the first place… Come to think of it, something was strange. I suddenly gained this trait, and then with the passage of time, my two traits were forcibly combined.
As soon as they combined, I nearly died from being overwhelmed by that power. Of course, without that power, I might have died without being able to repel the intruders, but if I self-destruct from my own power, isn’t it the same outcome?
I may have fought those guys after coming to Fairy Tail, but if I had encountered such enemies elsewhere, I would have defeated them in anger like I did a month ago, but then self-destructed and died pointlessly.
As the Queen said, as was written in Rage.
I needed to take special measures to avoid being consumed by my trait, so I nodded at her words.
Seeing this, the Queen and Mary smiled brightly, relieved. They must have thought I would refuse, intoxicated by this power.
“Mumu, mumumu, ummuu? (So, is there a method?)”
“Yes. I will write you a letter of recommendation. Please deliver it to Lassis, the High Elf known as the Daughter of the World Tree. She is both the Daughter of the World Tree and its guardian. She will know a way.”
I nodded at her confident words. There was nothing I could do about my situation anyway, and if help was available, it would be good to accept it.
What I felt when fighting the red-haired Doppelganger last time was that I severely lacked martial arts skills or weapon techniques to use against someone of similar build.
There might not be many with a physique like mine, but the problem is that they exist.
What if such a being is better at fighting than me? With the fear that continuing like this would only lead to being consumed by rage and self-destruction again, I felt all the more that I needed to accept this advice.
“Ummuuu (I’ll be counting on you.)”
“Hehehe, yes. Leave it to me. And Mary.”
“Yes!”
“Mary will go with you and help persuade the elves. She can freely use illusion magic and healing magic, so she won’t hold you back.”
“Yes! I’ll heal you if you get hurt!”
I smiled back at her confident response, thanked the Queen, and then moved with Mary to a place without fairies. When we arrived at a spot with no fairies, I looked behind me.
There… the roulette stood firmly.
This roulette was the last thing I saw before I passed out, and it hadn’t spun for a whole month. When I asked Mary, who could see the roulette, she said it had stayed by my side until I woke up, which gave me mixed feelings.
Last time when Rage was combined, it said the time had expired and forcibly combined them, but this one wasn’t spinning… The inconsistent standards were frustrating.
“Ummee- mumumu- ummee (Now I need to spin this… The problem is that it rises into the sky and reveals our location at the end…)”
“Then… would you like to spin the roulette when we move to the Elven Forest? It seems those two people who invaded this place came after seeing the roulette burst.”
“Muuuu (Yes, that would be better).”
Since it hadn’t spun for a month while staying by my side, it should be fine to wait a few more days.
With that decided, we returned to Fairy Tail.
* * * * *
After resting in Fairy Tail for three days and getting my body in top condition, I was ready to leave.
I had already stayed here too long, and since I might lose my mind to Rage at any moment, I wanted to depart as quickly as possible for the elven country, Elvenheim, to learn how to suppress it.
Word that I was leaving must have spread throughout Fairy Tail, as all the fairies there gathered around.
“You’re leaving!? Why are you going!?”
“Is it because you don’t like us!? We’ll treat you better! Don’t go! Uhuhuhuhu!”
“You’ll come back again, right!? You’re not just leaving us waiting!?”
“Don’t just take Mary, take me too! I want to go too!”
As numerous fairies blocked my view, and some used my body as a playground, the Queen stepped forward.
“Everyone, please stop. Our benefactor is troubled. Everyone stop and come over here.”
“Yes~!”
At the Queen’s words, the fairies around me all became like obedient children and flew to the Queen’s side.
“Now then, Minotaur Khan. And Mary. This letter of recommendation is for the High Elf Lassis of Elvenheim. Upon receiving this letter, she will definitely help you.”
I thanked the Queen for her confident words.
“Ummee- ummuuu (Though it was a short time, thank you for healing me. I survived thanks to you.)”
“We should be the ones thanking you. If you hadn’t been here, we would have met our deaths at the hands of those villains. We are the ones who should express gratitude. Now then, have a good journey.”
“We’ll be back!!”
And so, we set off for the elven country of Elvenheim.

Trudge… Trudge…
A being was walking through a dense forest. It was a very small girl, clutching tightly to a dirty doll that looked like she had picked it up somewhere, walking toward the inner part of the forest.
“Hey, mister. Is this the right way?”
The girl was asking a question to empty air. As if something was actually there, she stared intently at a particular spot in the empty space while asking.
“Really? Okay. Thank you, mister.”
Having apparently received the answer she wanted, she was about to continue deeper into the forest when a soldier ran up behind her.
“Lady William! Will… Hueeeeek!”
As he approached the girl calling someone’s name, he suddenly rose into the air and began to convulse violently.
At that moment, something blurry seemed to be sucking something out of the soldier’s mouth… white smoke was pouring from the soldier’s mouth and nose, being drawn into the hazy form.
“Stop. I told you not to touch people wearing those clothes.”
When the girl intervened, the blurry form released the soldier.
*Thud—*
“Kheuk—!! Huk—, huk—. Th… thank you, Lady William.”
“So, what’s the matter?”
The soldier, who seemed to have nearly died, expressed his gratitude to the girl while gasping for breath.
“The… the commander said you shouldn’t proceed any further in this direction. If you continue this way, you’ll cross the border and cause diplomatic issues…”
The girl tilted her head curiously at the soldier’s words.
“But the mister said I could get what I want if I go this way. Mister, did you lie to me?”
The girl asked, looking at empty space. The soldier might have been startled by this bizarre sight, but… he acted as if he was used to such scenes.
“See, he says he’s right. Tell the commander that if he wants what he desires, he’ll have to wage war. Well, since I’ve been stopped, I’ll head back for today.”
With those words, the girl turned back the way she came. Behind her, hazy forms followed.
