Added to that, Overseer’s main cannon + missile attack from behind their lines.

It was more than enough to destroy Melon’s already wounded fleet while consuming 90% of my patrol ships in the process.

Especially since his main destroyers had all gathered in the center to “protect” Overseer, which turned out to be a massive blunder.

From their perspective, they were suddenly caught in battleship cannon fire from both front and back.

Due to our surprise attack, 4 out of 5 destroyers that Melon had positioned in the center were sunk in a single blow.

One of the nearby escort ships was caught in the explosion of a destroyer.

The rest of them were hit directly by my destroyers’ bombardment and Overseer’s missiles, creating a spectacular fireworks display right before my eyes.

Of course, our destroyers took some hits in the process.

But compared to the enemy fleet that was completely blown apart, our damage was truly insignificant.

‘Ah, that feels good. This is what a fleet battle should be.’

Although I ended up in a fleet battle by accident, it worked out well anyway.

With that thought, I used the reinforced escort ships and destroyers to chase away the remaining ships from Melon’s fleet, including those sacrificed as bait.

At the same time, I used Overseer’s excellent main cannon to snipe them one by one, forcing additional casualties as the enemy retreated.
