Ch.285285. Lust (5)

The Otherworld unfolded with the mystery of Chomfantlus Kechak at its center. Its internal structure should have resembled the primitive jungle I experienced in the southern part of the New Continent.
However, this Otherworld, barely developed within another Otherworld that interferes with the construction of others…. Perhaps because it pushed in like it was partially eroding the original Dream World, it was completed in a form that gave a strong impression of chaos.
A realistic jungle eroding into an Otherworld that feels strongly surreal.
To use an analogy, it’s like inserting numerous photorealistic objects into a cartoon graphic world, creating an alien atmosphere and sense of discomfort.
This landscape, which strangely scraped at the inherent human psyche causing discomfort, was spread around me, endlessly repeating the cycle of eroding and being eroded.
And in the middle of such an Otherworld, I reached out to Kechak’s recovered soul while simultaneously beginning to resonate with the primitive mystery that had become much more abundant compared to before.
The goal was to transform into a primitive magical beast, whose existence I didn’t yet know, by simultaneously using soul resonance and animal transformation.
[Though my body is insufficient… I’ll help you!]
‘Thank you, Yongyong!’
With Yongyong, whose mind had recovered considerably despite his body not being fully healed yet, assisting me in the spiritual realm, I was able to start the resonance by moving my soul without fear despite this being my first experience.
White scales that looked as if pigment had been stripped from various parts of my skin began to emerge, and around my nape, colorful and splendid feathers grew, forming a shape similar to the feather decorations of indigenous Central and South Americans.
From my tingling gums, pointed and sharp fangs perfect for tearing flesh emerged one by one, and my golden pupils split in two, beginning to emit the predatory light characteristic of reptiles.
Additionally, my fingers grew stronger and my nails became pointed and sharp, while a large, luscious tail grew from where my tailbone should be, swaying gently.
A space formed in one part of my soul where I felt certain something could be filled, and as my physique became even more massive and grand, the muscles beneath my tough skin swelled.
What I felt was… power. A mighty strength that made me believe I could tear apart the vermin before me, and for some reason, a distinctive violence that rose up with it, gently stimulating my mind.
‘…Is this how Kechak lived?’
Anyway, frowning at that primal violence that made me want to kill living beings and tear them apart regardless of what they were, I carefully recalled Kechak’s mentality…
‘Phew, alright. Let’s move to the next step.’
While tearing apart the countless low-level succubi summoned by the demon corps commander Drakilia with my claws (nails), I tried to quickly complete the animal transformation before being interrupted…
【…This is a reward for taking care of my children.】
‘…?!!’
An unfamiliar divine voice reached my ears. Something strongly conveyed to my soul that, if I had to describe it, felt hissing and fluttering.
Through this power, I somehow realized that this was the voice of the deity worshipped by the Reptilian tribes…
[G-Gregory! Strange, strange power is flowing into me…]
‘…It’s okay! It’s not strange! So, just don’t reject it for now!’
As the power began to pour into me, responding as if resonating with the animal transformation, I tried to calm the panicked Yongyong while not rejecting that power.
And so, my form began to change once again.
The overall shape was… a winged serpent.
A snake with a body length exceeding at least 30 meters, and a thickness that could easily surpass ordinary landforms—a size that could be mistaken for part of the terrain itself.
Its entire body was covered with distinctive scales in red, pale yellow, and leaf-like green patterns, and this was not much different even for the pair of wings that sprouted near where the neck and body met.
The feathers sprouting from the neck area not only resembled the feather ornaments of indigenous peoples, but the wings also had their own patterns rather than being simply mottled.
Especially these wings, if I had to compare them, strongly resembled those of pterosaurs, as if arms had been transformed and modified, with three small fingers growing from the joint areas.
Despite their distinctive wing-like form, they seemed capable of being used almost like hands.
And as I transformed into this feathered serpent form, several pieces of knowledge flowed into my mind…
‘Quetzal…coatlus.’
Quietly recalling the name of this primitive magical beast, which shared its name with a pterosaur I had heard of in my previous life, I immediately extended my tail toward the demon corps commander who was looking at me with an enraged face.
-─KWAAAAAANG!!!
A boom, then a roar. My tail, swung at a speed unbelievable for such a large body, became a weapon that swept away the succubi trying to surround me in one strike, and even sent the approaching Dream Dragon flying.
The Dream Dragon, hit by a strike that might better be compared to a meteor, had its neck grotesquely twisted. Even in a world where physical laws were implemented differently, it couldn’t completely escape from such an impact.
[■■■■■■─!!!]
As I watched the form of the Dream Dragon gradually disappearing, I roared with a beast’s cry, taunting the queen of succubi.
[That beast bastard…]
The queen of succubi, Succubus Queen. The demon corps commander, she began to transform her appearance.
The first thing to change was her size. If she had previously been just slightly larger than a human, the transformed Drakilia’s size was a massive body exceeding almost 15 meters.
Additionally, an extra pair of arms sprouted from her shoulders, and this transformed body, unlike before, was clearly encased in armor.
On her head, which had previously featured at most a simple headdress, now sat a gladiator helmet that revealed her face.
The helmet, which protruded like that of a goat, boasting its enormous presence,
On her chest was a breastplate that overtly revealed her cleavage, making one doubt its practicality, and on her assertive pelvis sat only an armored skirt made of chains and cloth.
In her four hands, she held various weapons.
In her upper left hand was a solid brass circular shield similar to what men who might shout “SPARTA!” would use.
In her upper right hand, a bronze-bladed spear easily exceeding 10 meters in length rested naturally.
The weapons held by her lower arms were two curved swords that were close to works of art.
Characterized by a form specialized for cutting rather than thrusting, purple liquid naturally coated the blades, dripping down.
If she had previously been the queen of seductive and provocative prostitutes, now she was like a gladiator who packaged her body in decadence and seduction.
Of course, while thinking it was somewhat of a stretch to package such a vulgar appearance as a gladiator, I widely opened the ornately decorated serpent’s mouth and—
-─KWAAAAAAAAANG!!!
Immediately after that, with a roar that echoed in all directions, a high-density magical beam of red light condensed in my mouth as Quetzalcoatlus and poured toward Drakilia.
Succubi, or more broadly the Mongma race, are inherently not very adept at close combat.
If the “Arch Demon” I had faced before in the Elf Kingdom was a typical warrior-type demon, then the Succubus Queen… or succubi and similar Mongma types are basically magic user-type demons.
Their attractive bodies were not forged for the combative purpose of withstanding and countering attacks, but were closer to tools for captivating someone’s heart.
Of course, due to the characteristics of demons as a race, their basic physical abilities would be incomparable to those of weak human magic users.
But even considering that… even with the ability to modify their bodies to reflect preferences, a Mongma’s body is not that of a warrior.
However… despite knowing all these conditions, I couldn’t let my guard down against the demon who had taken on the appearance of a gladiator before me.
The fact that she had adopted a warrior’s appearance in this situation clearly indicated that she had judged that using some method would be more advantageous than fighting as a magician.
And this speculation of mine was proven true when the magical beam I shot from my mouth instantly disappeared before Drakilia’s shield—
‘…Oh no.’
With the certainty that the being before me would undoubtedly be a formidable opponent, I began to stimulate and heat up the magical pouch in my chest at a slightly faster tempo.
