My concern was simple.

Even this “Avalon Fortress” (Level 5), which is two levels lower than where those folks are planning to invade, had an intimidating battle fleet.

One fleet consisted of 10 battleships, 50 cruisers, and 500 destroyers.

With a total of 50 such fleets, the combined forces amounted to 500 battleships and cruisers numbering in the thousands.

But Level 7?

The “Tannhäuser Gateway Fortress” that I previously attempted to invade but gave up on was roughly a Level 7-8 stronghold…

If my memory serves me right, at Level 7, even the “patrol fleets” that serve as advance forces would deploy about 5 battleships each.

And if a proper battle fleet were to appear, each fleet would bring over 30 battleships.

While Level 5 only had cruisers below battleships, Level 7 would include battlecruisers as well.

And the number of battle fleets would increase accordingly.

Unlike me, the Rotten Water Clan is literally just a “clan,” and I didn’t think they could possibly handle such overwhelming numbers no matter how hard they tried.

And it seems I wasn’t the only one thinking this way.

In the gallery, voices of concern about Rotten Water Clan’s Level 7 stronghold attack continued to emerge.

I’m not doubting the skills of that clan’s users

None of the users in that clan are ranked below 1000, so yeah

But their numbers are too small

Isn’t Rotten Water a clan that aims for quality over quantity with only about 100 members?

Their users will barely reach Level 8 at best, and considering fleet points, they can barely handle patrol fleets, right?

I’m saying this because some people don’t understand the problem

It’s not about the number of users, it’s about the number of ships

Even if all 100 Rotten Water members combined their fleet points, their base levels would be around 7-8 at best

Considering Level 7 gives 650 fleet points and Level 8 gives 800 or 900

Their combined fleet points wouldn’t exceed 80,000

Even if they pack as many battleships, battlecruisers, and carriers as possible, how many could they bring?

A Level 8 user could bring maybe 20-25 battleships and battlecruisers, so they might somehow deal with patrol fleets

But what about battle fleets?

Each fleet has at least 30 battleships and 10 battlecruisers minimum

From Level 7, fleets also include carriers

Looking at just this, you might think they could somehow manage the capital ship forces

But fortress cities have TONS of small ships as auxiliary forces

We all saw when 3rd place conducted a solo siege, even a Level 5 city’s patrol fleet had over 30,000 small ships

You think a Level 7 stronghold won’t have those?

If users pour all their points into capital ships

At least 100,000 small ships will shred those user fleets that lack auxiliary forces

There’s a reason huge clans bring hundreds of users with small ship formations in addition to capital ship users when attacking strongholds

Otherwise, your precious capital ships will all get torn apart by small ships in close combat

That’s why Icarus mobilized so many mercenaries with small ships when attacking the Level 5 stronghold

But what about Rotten Water?

Unless more than half of their 100 members invest their fleet points solely in capital ships, they can’t secure the minimum fleet power needed for city sieges

And they have no means to counter the various small ships that will pour out

Personally, I think they’re going to fail spectacularly

Those with experience in the godly crappy game Astral Lagrange knew it was realistically impossible.

Unlike me, who could wage a “war of attrition” against NPC strongholds by mobilizing 512 mercenary groups,

The gallery was dominated by the judgment that Raksha’s Rotten Water Clan realistically couldn’t do the same.
