Title: Kicked out a moron and got a resource zone. Nice?

    Author: Anonymous

Content: [Small fleet departing], [Chat verification with username hidden], [Resource zone verification]

Someone was hogging the spot I was going to take, so I brought my fleet over, drove them out, and took it for myself

Of course, I warned them first with a communication like you see here, and they ran away before I could blast them with my fleet

    Must be some loser

Looking at their destroyer with barely any weapons, they’re just a broke-ass player lol

Anyway, all the resources here are mine now. Sweet!

    Comments:

    -[???]

-[Is he seriously hogging all that by himself?]

    -[Look at him monopolizing everything]

    -[This guy’s loaded with resources]

    … … … … … …

    —————————————-

    “Heh heh heh heh heh.”

There seemed to be quite a lot of comments, but before I could read them, I felt an intense wave of irritation rising within me.

This bastard is blatantly stirring up trouble.

Thanks to him, I decided to immediately organize a force that could counter this guy to relieve the annoyance building up to the top of my head.

“Jessica, you know that guy who just raided our resource fleet.”

    “Yes, Commander.”

“Organize a fleet that can catch and teach him a lesson. I’m going all out on this one, so help me.”

    “Yes, sir!”

Of course, no matter how angry I was, I couldn’t just charge headfirst into his fleet.

The firepower of his cruiser “Overseer” was too strong for my fleet to face head-on, especially since I hadn’t built any cruisers yet.

Conversely, on their side, the Overseer could easily block our dealer Pashtra’s firepower with its superior class.

Instead of attacking his fleet head-on, I was planning a decoy operation using aggro.

Since his fancy cruiser had such overwhelmingly superior performance compared to his other ships, the moment it popped out from among his escort fleet and charged at us…

I planned to ambush and snatch it away.

Of course, unless he was an idiot, he’d have at least an S-class superhuman defending the inside of the cruiser.

At minimum, I’d need to deploy both Ignis and Berial simultaneously to seize control of the cruiser’s command system as quickly as possible—a time attack, so to speak.

Anyway, while I was busy planning, I suddenly realized I was still looking at the community window.

I was about to finish reading the comments on that garbage post when…

    ‘Huh, what’s this?’

Surprisingly, there were hardly any supportive responses among the comments on his post.

    —————————————-

-[Is he seriously hogging all those resources by himself?]

    -[Dude… stop eating everything]

-[Looking at the photo, it seems like the destroyer only has basic weapons and the rest is filled with transport compartments?]

-[Is the poster an idiot? That’s a transport-type destroyer with no weapons by design]

-[How would a newbie understand the ways of a veteran?]

    -˪[What does that even mean?]

-[These commenters are speaking in code again, someone explain please]

    —————————————-

As comments criticizing the post continued, newbies started expressing their curiosity too.

Shortly after, I could see a post that seemed to be targeting that damn Melon guy popping up.

Title: Tips for newbies (Destroyer transport optimization tips)

    Author: IWannaSqueezeAndRubSaintessBoobiesRunwayBabySpinSpin

Content: [Close-up image of standard destroyer hull], [Close-up image of transport destroyer hull]

As you can see from these two images:

From destroyer-class and up, there are blueprints that let you remove weapons and convert that space into transport compartments

You might wonder why anyone would do this, but it’s one of the things that separates newbies from veterans.

The game doesn’t explain this anywhere, so even experienced players sometimes quit without ever knowing about it

Anyway, looking at the fleet image in that post, the person the author called “broke”…

Is actually likely a super-veteran who optimized their formation specifically for resource gathering

Since there’s a daily limit to how fast resource gathering ships can collect, they probably configured it to match the maximum daily yield.

Two basic destroyers for resource gathering ships would be about right.

And if you look carefully at the author’s screenshot, part of their fleet is visible

That’s the wing section of the SSS-class cruiser Overseer.

From the looks of it, the author probably showed up with their Overseer to intimidate the other player

And the veteran who was just gathering resources (not even with their main fleet) probably just backed off

But posting provocatively like this and bragging on the forum… well, that’s basically advertising for someone to come kill you

    Comments:

-[Your username is insane, but the content is surprisingly useful]

-[How can you even tell that’s an Overseer?]

-˪[Look carefully, you can see the wing fragment at the edge of the screen](Author)

-[How did you even see that, are you gay?]

-[This guy can distinguish things at the bit level]

-[So a newbie with an SSS-class ship is showing off in front of a veteran?]

    ‘Hah.’

Seeing the entire gallery putting a hit on him gave me a sense of satisfaction.

And it wasn’t just the community gallery—the global chat window I had open showed similar reactions:

    —————————————-

    -[Gallery link]

    -[Isn’t this newbie hunting?]

-[You’re the one who wrote that post, aren’t you?]

-[Guys like that usually get physically hunted down soon]

-[Some people really live without thinking]

-[What kind of thinking leads someone to try monopolizing such a large resource zone?]

    -[This is getting interesting]

    —————————————-

Seeing supportive reactions toward me from everywhere, I found myself nodding in agreement.

‘Indeed, that guy is definitely a jerk.’

At this point, I decided there was no need to check the community further.

I closed both the chat window and community window, and noticed that Jessica had already brought the draft plan.

    “Commander, here it is.”

    “Hmm.”

“I refined the draft a bit after connecting with Berial.”

Hearing that she had even gotten input from Berial, who had some fleet battle abilities according to her settings, I nodded and accepted the plan.

After briefly reviewing it, I decided to put this plan into action immediately.
