Ch.263Resource Supply Event is Sweet! (3)
by fnovelpia
After cutting down a few necks, I finally got the answer I wanted.

Title: Anyone who said there’s no raid event right now, read this post.txt

Nothing else
Originally, exploring that ship was supposed to be like the previous “Legacy of the Ancient Empire” event – an instant dungeon with a time limit where you quickly clear everything.
And in this gentleman’s case, there are monsters in that dungeon.
Not much to explain.
Originally, you’re supposed to withstand the monster attacks while carefully investigating the interior step by step.
Once it’s actually discovered and a little time passes, the nest expands and the number of enemies increases exponentially.
But this guy just mindlessly pushed through before the monster offspring could expand or anything.
Comments:
-[Dorat’s place]
-[But isn’t that a good thing?]
-˪[No, it’s not. Mindlessly pushing through like that means you can’t get hibernation capsules or ancient technology data from the event](Author)
-˪[That’s not true. It’s not lost over-technology like the Ancient Empire, so it’s just for selling as relics to space cities or other NPC factions]
-˪[Ah, I see]
-[Yeah, that guy probably won’t get anything except resources since he just pushed through]
… … … … … …

There were many more comments below, but I had already gotten the answers I needed, so I closed the post and nodded.
“Good, very good.”
“What is, Commander?”
Seeing me like this, Jessica, who was busy transporting supplies from the “Ultra-ancient Wreckage” to the base, expressed her curiosity.
I simply shrugged at Jessica’s question, then changed the subject by asking how many resources were in the wreckage.
“By the way, Jessica, how many usable resources are there in that wreckage?”
Hearing my question, Jessica perked up one of her rabbit ears, then naturally showed me the tablet and hologram screen she was looking at, and calmly engaged with my question.
“According to what we’ve discovered through the map information, we’ve found about 50,000 minerals and 3,000 rare resources so far.”
“Hmm.”
“However, it seems those resources need to be moved into the Astral Base to be counted as ours, as they’re not being recognized by the base’s resource system.”
“I see…”
I didn’t know the details, but if Jessica said so, that must be how it worked.
I nodded at Jessica’s words, then looked through the command center window at the vast space beyond.
While watching the enormous ultra-ancient wreckage, and the assault shuttles and small shuttles constantly moving between the wreckage and the base transporting resources,
I called Jessica, who was about to return to her duties after answering me, and summoned Cruisers No. 1 and No. 2, which were docked with nothing to do.
I instructed them to serve as temporary transport ships between the wreckage and the base, to carry as many resources as possible at once.
—
And as you can see from the reply of the user who was persuaded(?) by my negotiation(?) above,
During the remaining 6 days before the ultra-giant wreckage drifted away to another place due to inertia, I didn’t have any additional interesting events to experience.
So I spent my time checking on Jessica and the others as they collected resources and continued exploring the interior for anything useful.
-“KIEEEEEK! KIEEEEEK!!”
-“What is it saying?”
-“It doesn’t want to give birth to monster children?”
-“…?”
I also spent time watching those purple bald creatures suddenly enjoying “Professor Griyanar’s Exciting Biological Experiments (Test Subject Version)” in 4D.
And when I had nothing else to do, I naturally browsed through the gallery or chat rooms.
…One might ask what I was doing when I should be sharpening my blade for the stronghold siege.
But there were almost no user conflicts due to the event situation.
Fleet reinforcement?
I had already filled the fleet points to the limit, so I couldn’t build any more.
At most, I could deal with neutral evil mobs that occasionally appeared during this time.
That is, wild monsters or unaffiliated pirates… things like that?
But even this didn’t require my control because our forces had become so formidably strong.
Either the carrier aircraft, which had become ridiculously powerful under Tiamat’s command (who was deployed for leveling work), would grind them up.
Or if not that, then long-range missile attacks led by Hresvelgr would destroy the naturally respawning mobs before they could do anything as they approached the base.
“…This is strangely peaceful in a different way.”
For me, there was really nothing to do except management while browsing the gallery.
But fortunately, unlike me, most users enjoyed the event by progressing step by step rather than pushing through at the beginning.
So just watching the users’ various antics was enough to pass the time well.
Just to give a few examples…

Like a user who accidentally got separated from his superhumans while trying to conduct an exploration with them, and ended up filming a real-time horror game alone.

Die, clan leader!
Comments:
-[What is this?]

Or a clan leader who is used by his clan members as a shield against beam fire or bullets, perhaps trying to create an atmosphere among users by gathering clan members to film an adventure.

And clan members who end up tied to battering rams and smashed into doors by their clan leader.
With users experiencing their own events and even creating events on their own, there was no room for boredom.
