    # Chapter 250: The Red-Flavored Federation Is Lonely Today (2)

Along with the reckless chain of fact-bombing antics from the Foreign Minister who seemed to have given up all hope.

“The country will collapse at this rate! You damn military bastards!”

    “…That’s crossing the line.”

Add to that the Treasury’s outburst as they lost all reason.

“We need to prioritize the Prosnack front! Can’t you see they’re trying to launch a mobile warfare strategy?”

“It looks to me like they’re just spreading out in disorder.”

“Perhaps because you’ve only dealt with the ISTO front, you don’t understand how terrifying those Prosnack bastards are.”

    “What did you just say?”

…And as always, the fighting between admirals from different fronts.

Witnessing what seemed like a reenactment of the Sebelli Empire’s notorious factional court meetings, the Secretary General sitting at the head seat shook his head wearily.

    “…Let’s end today’s meeting here.”

    “What…”

    “Yes, Mr. Secretary General!”

And so, the meeting held at the Fuxviet’s Supreme Military Council once again ended inconclusively, as it always did.

This state of the Fuxviet Supreme Military Council was extremely perplexing to those who knew how they normally operated.

“What’s wrong with them? They always emphasized unity under the Secretary General, but why are they acting like this lately?”

“I know, right? Do they think they’re Sebelli or some other democratic nation?”

    Indeed, neighboring countries—

Especially the Syr-Hod Alliance, which had properly tasted the Fuxviet Federation’s distinctive “unity” red flavor.

And the Republic of Nurval’s media outlets published daily commentaries on the situation in Fuxviet.

Of course, like most media commentaries, the majority simply pushed their own narratives…

-“In the end, the Fuxviet Federation’s boast of building a united communist empire was nothing but exaggerated nonsense!”

-“Look at the admirals’ scheming like common street thugs. They’re directly showing that their so-called united communist revolution is nothing but a mirage!”

    -“

They were merely being used as government mouthpieces and propaganda tools, paid under the table by their respective governments.

However, contrary to what was shown to the media in these “official” Supreme Military Council meetings…

    ————————————

The capital of the Fuxviet Federation, the Fuskali-Hagers planetary system.

The People’s Palace in the capital city of Fuskalia.

    -Tap tap tap tap tap.

    “…”

In the innermost chamber where the “unofficial” Supreme Military Council—where real power changed hands—was being held.

The fleet admirals who had been hurling all manner of insults during the “official” proceedings were now sitting quietly with their mouths shut.

“Mr. Secretary General, our Treasury has done everything possible.”

“The Foreign Ministry’s hands and feet were cut off from the start due to those military idiots’ stupidity, so it’s meaningless.”

On one side sat the Treasury Minister with a deeply contorted expression.

And the Foreign Minister, who seemed to have given up hope, occupied his seat while puffing heavily on a thick cigar.

    “Hmm…”

And at the head of this meeting, unlike his fatigued appearance in the “official” setting.

    -Tap tap tap tap tap.

Here, he maintained a sharp gaze and demeanor.

The supreme leader of Fuxviet, Secretary General Czesar.

He was displaying his characteristic charisma that dominated the gathering, continuously tapping his fingers on the armrest of his chair.

And that charisma made it difficult for everyone to even swallow—not just the admirals in the room.

But also the admirals from other fronts connected through numerous communication screens on the conference room’s massive display.

“…First of all, thank you all for your hard work today.”

“Not at all, Mr. Secretary General!”

“Your struggles are far greater than ours!”

“What could be more painful than seeing Your Excellency slandered by those vile groups?”

The moment the Secretary General’s firmly closed lips opened.

When it became clear that what flowed from them was not anger about today’s disgraceful display, but encouragement for those working toward the great cause.

The admirals showing their faces in the meeting began competing to express their utmost respect for the Secretary General.

They were displaying in real-time the Fuxviet-style loyalty pledge that foreign media would never know about.

“How are the foreign media reacting?”

“Yes! They’re spreading rumors that a crisis has befallen Your Excellency’s rule, trying to shake our federation’s solidarity!”

“But our unity is stronger than ever!”

Surprisingly, the Fuxviet Federation, including the fleet admirals and the Secretary General.

Was deliberately portraying the “official” Supreme Military Council as incompetent to lower neighboring countries’ vigilance.

For this purpose, Czesar, the Secretary General himself—the iron-blooded ruler who built the Fuxviet Federation—personally endured the humiliation.

And the admirals, competing to show fanatical loyalty to Secretary General Czesar, were acting accordingly.

    ————————————–

There was a reason why Czesar was doing this, even at the risk of shaking the charismatic leadership he had built up until now.

It was because of intelligence from an organization equal in foreign espionage capabilities to the overseas spy network that Sebelli’s Arto boasted about (though he himself never did).

For some reason known as the KGB abroad, and with a recently changed name that confused many even within Fuxviet.

The Supreme Military Council’s direct Information Management Office, the National Security Administration agents had sent urgent important intelligence.

[Movement detected within ISTO regarding treaty force withdrawal.]

[The main proposer of this agenda is still unknown, but highly likely to be Duke Arto Virtorius Sebelli of the Sebelli Empire.]

News of the withdrawal of the ISTO treaty forces—the cause of half their fleet’s immobilization.

And the existence of Duke Arto adding certainty to this rumor-like information…

“If we hold out a little longer, ISTO will leave first!”

    “Patience leads to victory…!”

This was why, despite the Treasury’s screams, they continued to hold their position at the front line, killing time.

Of course, while the information might seem “rumor-like,” it was actually very high-grade intelligence.

Just as the Soviet Union in Arto’s pre-possession reality, the Fuxviet’s communist espionage activities were unavoidable even for the distant Holy Sebelli Empire, let alone within ISTO.

Their reach extended even to the empire’s high officials and palace attendants.

Valuable materials obtained through various wiretapping records installed internally, along with the hearsay of all kinds of spies.

Especially conversations and meeting records between Arto, the Emperor, and the Saint.

They had stolen every possible piece of information and sent it back to their homeland.

Of course, Arto’s Diplomatic Enforcement Agency wouldn’t sit idle during this process.

“Hey, want to work on something with me?”

    “What?”

They would insert double agents to take control of spy networks.

    “I wonder what today’s wiretap records will reveal~ I’m so excited~”

“Today’s feature is ‘Fuxviet Spy’s Slasher Movie Victim Experience.'”

    “Oh.”

Or turn wiretapping spies into S/L/A/S/H/E/D spies.

“Did you know? The Emperor is actually dominated and mounted by Arto every night?”

“Really? I heard the opposite—that the Emperor makes Arto moan like a little girl.”

    “…”

“What on earth is happening in the Sebelli Imperial Palace?”

They spread misinformation(?) to confuse Fuxviet’s intelligence network.

Using the advantage(?) of not needing direct approval from Arto, they were serving Fuxviet’s proud National Security Administration a big plate of humiliation every day.

Nevertheless, the victory-spirited agents of the Fuxviet National Security Administration had successfully leaked information and meeting records.

As a result of mobilizing even wiretapping records from the Imperial Palace:

“It seems Minister Arto is planning something. According to wiretaps from inside the palace, he appears to be planning to mobilize all ISTO treaty forces and troops from ISTO member countries.”

“…Take a breath first, then speak.”

Fuxviet was able to discover the important fact that the man who played a key role in forming ISTO was planning to use that very organization.

Therefore, as mentioned above, in preparation for the border that would eventually be vacated, despite the Treasury’s screams.

They continued to hold their position while simultaneously engaging in media play.

However, despite all this, they had one problem…
