Ch.249249. Farm Villa
by fnovelpia
The villa was truly impressively completed.
“Wow. Didn’t you say you were busy?”
“I got the basics done, and since it had to be done anyway, I came up with some good ideas and finished early.”
“This is sick!”
The villas were indeed worthy of being called “sick” as they perfectly complemented the spectacular scenery of the Ore Vein Mountain Range.
Opening the windows revealed a vast panorama that made you feel like you were floating in the sky, and stepping outside the villa presented a lush green natural landscape behind you.
From the most expensive villa, you could see an enormous waterfall cascading down from another mountain through the window, and the colorful arrangement of mountains divided into various hues meant that wherever you looked, your eyes were treated to a feast of different colors.
Though it was the Ore Vein Mountain Range, it wasn’t devoid of trees.
Some mountains were composed entirely of ore veins, and the distant golden mountain shimmered brilliantly, stirring up the desire to visit and mine it at least once.
Of course, it wasn’t without its drawbacks.
“If you lean against this while drunk, you’d die falling off.”
In an attempt to create dramatic scenery, the villa was positioned on a steep slope. While not inherently dangerous, if someone were to roll out of a window, the steep incline could potentially be fatal.
“I thought about installing safety measures, but that would be too…”
“You did well. If they die, we can just replace them with someone else.”
“…”
This isn’t a vacation villa for leisure activities.
Nominally, it’s a bunker-concept villa designed to escape the chaotic energy of Earth.
While it’s comfortable for eating, sleeping, and relaxing, I have no reason to provide after-sales service for problems arising from someone’s carelessness.
Anyway, the scenery was perfectly created exactly where I wanted it, and the interior of the villa was flawless.
The large villa, about 2-3 stories high, had a clean interior design, and all the appliances and furniture were top-of-the-line products.
The Earth-style layout made it hard to believe this was a farm.
Though there’s no internet, the TV works normally, and the electrical system, water, and boiler are all operational.
The large pantry room inside was stocked with emergency food and various ingredients, and there was also a storage room for keeping various items.
Basically, the villa had everything you’d expect in a wealthy person’s retreat.
And then there was the transportation portal inside.
This was crucial.
Taking the base transportation portal leads to a community center built somewhere in the mountain range.
A tall building.
Just like in the mining village, I set it up so that everything could be handled here, but unlike the mining village designed to accommodate crowds of people, this was elegantly designed.
It was created exclusively for VIPs to enjoy the highest level of service.
After all, these are SVIPs who pay for everything here.
Whether it’s omakase or special services, the amount paid by the SVIPs is enough to maintain operations, and since there are only about 60 people at most, it wasn’t a big issue.
Spa. Sauna. Gym. Restaurant. And so on.
The facilities were impeccable.
“Good.”
“Is it okay?”
“Yes. Good job.”
As for personnel, Kim Sujeong could recruit and place them.
It seemed like all I needed to do was invite people on the promised date and have them move in.
“But is it okay to keep bringing people to the farm? I mean, I’m happy if many people enjoy my work, but Suhyeon, your policy was to invite only a few people to the farm, right?”
“That’s right. But watching you build the farm made me think it might be okay.”
The first step is always the hardest.
My distrust of people…
My worry about them ruining my farm actually began to fade when Kim Sol built high walls around the farm and reinforced them with Bratrium.
All the important facilities are inside the walls anyway.
The village, the fields, the World Tree, and the orchard too.
Plus, if desired, we could connect the Ore Vein Mountain Range, but there’s really no need since we can use the transportation portal.
Moreover, the base transportation portal can only be used by registered farm members, and I can even restrict access to certain portals, so entry to the farm is strictly controlled.
In the end, even if other people come to live in this vast dimensional rift, you won’t actually encounter them inside the farm.
I might occasionally see someone while hunting and roaming around if I’m really lucky, but that’s it.
And even if those people enter the dimensional rift with malicious intent and harm the resources, it doesn’t matter.
The dimensional rift isn’t a place to be taken lightly.
The villas were built in the Ore Vein Mountain Range because it’s been somewhat cleared and monsters that still appear are being hunted regularly. Even so, finding a way out of the mountain range is nearly impossible without flying.
As for all the ore and mines scattered around?
What would they do with what they mine?
They can’t take it out, and even if they could, they’d need to take it to Earth to use it, but dimensional travel isn’t something just anyone can do.
So once someone enters the farm, they ultimately have no choice but to follow my words.
And if they don’t comply, this is a place where I can kill them without leaving a trace.
Thinking about it that way, my heart opened up a bit.
I have no intention of creating a passage connecting most of Earth’s people, but it wouldn’t be bad to establish a communication channel with Earth by giving access to part of the dimensional rift—not the farm itself—to people who could be helpful.
As Kim Sol said, an artistic work truly shines only when there are people to see it and empathize with it.
“I hope some people with bad intentions come too. Just to make an example out of them.”
Though I wonder if anyone in their right mind would do that.
But there are people in this world who make you question their sanity.
A month after the announcement…
The villa for SVIPs opened.
————————-
6 trillion won per person.
More expensive than the cost of going to Mars, the base transportation portal installation service for SVIPs who invested this amount is something I personally install around the world.
Well, there was no other way.
The base transportation portal was created through my unique Login & Logout ability, and I haven’t been able to create an installation-type portal at SSS+ grade yet.
So even though it opened, not all SVIPs could head to the farm in a single day.
I understood their impatience—paying 6 trillion won and having to wait for sequential implementation—but what could I do?
The order was simply based on proximity.
In Korea, the chairman of some gaming company had applied, so he was given first priority for installation.
“One at your home. One at Farming Company if you visit, and please apply for the remaining two locations later. They’ll be implemented sequentially.”
I install the base transportation portal, grant permissions, and log in.
I immediately move to the villa purchased by the chairman and show him around.
“Wow…”
Even the dignified 60-year-old chairman couldn’t help but marvel at the spectacular view.
“Is it possible to farm here as well?”
“Ah, so you were the one who mentioned the farming concept. I think there’s a vegetable garden in the back?”
“This is incredible. I’m so pleased. My wife seems to love it too.”
“I love it so much.”
With total assets of about 4.7 trillion won, mostly in company stocks, he had the foresight to coolly invest 6 trillion won to seize this opportunity, even though he didn’t have a VVIP status with Farming Company before.
A fairly large farming area for what’s supposed to be a small garden has been created on a flat piece of land in the middle of the mountain.
Everything from greenhouses to the latest farming technology.
I heard he spent an additional 1-2 trillion won on various options beyond the package price.
Even though we charged exorbitant prices because it’s dimensional rift technology rather than modern technology, he seemed satisfied that it was better than he expected.
“Thank you.”
“If you have any issues, leave a message on this pad, and someone will contact you or come to inquire. If you need anything, you can also leave a request here, and it will be automatically charged. You have a surplus of 50 billion in mileage, but… well, you probably don’t need to add more at your age.”
“Hahaha.”
“You can freely travel to and from Earth using this anytime. Enjoy your bunker life.”
After receiving the first guest and returning to Earth, I felt overwhelmed.
“Hmm… if I have to take planes, this will take the entire month?”
Although it’s something I started, and it feels rewarding and good, I felt the need to finish it quickly.
“Sigh. I have to go see that old man again.”
The fortunate thing is that the second customer is in China and is someone I already know.
I can get there quickly since I’ve been there before and know the location.
As I open a rift and step through…
A dimensional door opens to the office I’ve visited before.
“It’s been a while, hasn’t it?”
The Murim Alliance.
The leader of the Murim Alliance was the owner of the second villa.
