With one man’s shout, the ship approached our Kirtan vessel at tremendous speed.

Aliens speaking a language that humans can understand… magic! Well, I decided to overlook that as a typical creative liberty. Nitpicking every detail in these nerdy stories would be exhausting.

The two ships collided with incredible force.

“Uwahahahaha!! Board their ship!!!”

The members of the Blackburn pirate crew swarmed onto our deck. Perhaps because “Black” was in their name, they were all dressed uniformly in black.

“Everyone!! Combat positions!!”

As if familiar with such situations, Kirtan quickly regained her composure. She drew her sword swiftly and issued commands.

CLANG-! CLASH-! CLAAANG-!!

BOOM-!

The sounds of clashing weapons and explosions echoed from all directions.

VWOOM-! VWOOM-!

True to their alien nature, laser beams shot from somewhere.

TING-! PING-!

I casually deflected the lasers.

That’s when it happened.

KABOOM-!

A bomb thrown by the Blackburn pirates partially destroyed the captain’s quarters.

“You bastards….!!!!!”

Kirtan seemed incredibly pissed about that.

Immediately after, Kirtan rapidly approached a Blackburn pirate near the captain’s quarters.

As Kirtan swung her sword, the pirate’s head was cleanly severed.

“These fuckers!! Our love nest with my darling!!”

Kirtan was clearly enraged about that.

“That’s right!! I should have dealt with you scum long ago!! Come at me all at once!!! You motherfuckers!!”

Kirtan spewed crude curses while cutting down everyone in sight.

I could hardly believe this was the same woman who had been acting cute beside me earlier.

I threw myself right into the middle of the enemy formation.

The Blackburn pirates seemed quite bewildered by my reckless charge into their midst. But in battle, the one who loses in madness loses the fight.

I immediately charged my arms with the Stance of Scorching Heat.

As steam rose from my arms, I could feel my arm strength and speed being enhanced.

“URYAAAAAAH!!!!!”

I swung my sword in a wide horizontal arc.

SLAAAASH-!!!!!

Before the pirates could even defend themselves, my sword strike cut through all enemies in front, slicing them to pieces.

It was a swift strike that would be difficult even for me to block. Enhancing part of my body with the Stance of Scorching Heat and converting it into a sword strike was essentially a cheat key.

“Th-this guy is strong…!!”

“Could it be… that guy from Earth? That spiky-headed… Arigiri Shota!!!”

Pirates hit by the lasers disintegrated into dust.

“Now’s our chance!! Push forward!!!”

Kirtan shouted loudly from the front line.

“Damn it!! Retreat!! Retreat!!”

“Back to the ship!!”

The Blackburn pirates immediately began to flee.

“Hey!! This is supposed to be a pirate battle!! Is this all you’ve got?!!”

I shouted loudly as I chased after the Blackburn pirates.

Fuck! Give me back my romantic notions from Pirates of the Caribbean!!! I want that chaotic battle atmosphere!!

Anyway, now the tables had turned, and our Kirtan pirates were boarding the Blackburn pirate ship.

“Hup!!”

I jumped onto the massive Blackburn vessel.

“Hup!!”

Kirtan followed me onto the ship.

“Start the ship!! Start the ship!!”

One of them tried to get the ship moving.

“Where do you think you’re going?!”

Kirtan pulled out a small laser pistol from her hand and fired immediately.

SPLAT-!!

The laser pierced right through the fleeing pirate’s head.

“Kill them all!! We don’t need slaves!! But loot everything valuable!!”

Kirtan shouted loudly while gulping down the rum she always carried.

“Wow!! Drinking while fighting!! WOW!! A pirate’s romance!!”

I couldn’t help but cheer.

“Uwahahaha! Shota!! You understand romance!!”

Kirtan immediately embraced me tightly. My nose was buried in her cleavage. Hmm… if I were to suffocate and die like this, I’d be happy. That’s what I thought.

Anyway, our Kirtan pirates were now completely dominating the battle.

“Kkerang kkerang!!”

An octopus-like alien pleaded toward me.

“Die!!!!”

I swung my sword without hesitation.

SLIIIIICE-!!

With that, the octopus creature became octopus sashimi.

‘These Blackburn pirates… they’re surprisingly weak.’

That’s what I felt during the melee. How should I put it? They had numbers but few strong fighters. I thought they were supposed to be Kirtan’s rival crew… but they were too pathetic. On average, one Kirtan pirate could handle about five Blackburn pirates. The exchange rate was terrible.

Only when their pirate ship was being ransacked did someone emerge from the captain’s quarters.

“Ayu… what’s all this noise while I’m sleeping? So annoying.”

A huge bear-like pirate appeared. He was wearing a captain’s hat and… judging by the fact that he came from the captain’s quarters, he was the captain.

“Ah. Captain Kirtan. I am the 234892nd captain of the Blackburn pirates……”

He immediately introduced himself.

“Shut up!! You idiot!! Interrupting our date and causing trouble!!!”

Kirtan immediately beheaded the guy who was introducing himself.

Without even a chance to resist, the 234892nd captain of the Blackburn pirates fell with his head severed.

With that, our Kirtan pirates defeated the Blackburn pirates.

I said, looking at Kirtan. If there was a spy leaking information on the ship, it would explain things.
