    Ch.2424 – Settlement

I could see Rexar’s next moves clearly.

As soon as our jungler saw Rexar waste too much time top, he immediately invaded the enemy camps. Rexar couldn’t even counter by entering our jungle since his health was low from me kiting and poking him, plus our mid had push priority, creating potential for a top-mid collapse.

At best, he’d take two camps and scuttle before recalling.

Of course, he could unexpectedly cut through bottom and try a counter-gank from the line bush during a push wave, knowing Sia had no wards.

But that was something Sia needed to watch for, so I didn’t worry too much.

Mirocell, who should have taken W at level 2, ended up taking E instead, completely surrendering lane control to me.

He needed my permission just to farm minions, eventually forcing him to recall and use teleport.

By the 8-minute mark, the CS score had widened to 72 versus 29—more than double, approaching triple.

When Mirocell calculated his level 6 timing and unleashed his ultimate as a desperate move, I simply dodged it with a forward movement, then countered with a backward Q and continuous kiting. This made him miss about two more waves, turning him into a dutiful son who frequently visited home.

    [An ally has been slain]

    [Double Kill]

While our team was hunting the herald, the enemy team—deciding they couldn’t continue like this—executed a four-man dive bottom, giving them a rare victory.

“Sorry. I died without taking anyone down.”

“It’s fine, I’ll get more advantage top.”

I ping support once on the top second tower, then once on the dragon pit.

The best move was for our jungler to quickly drop herald then recall and rush to dragon. That would secure dragon for our team, while top would be a loss whether defended or not.

But that wasn’t enough after the bottom dive incident.

I needed to eat a shutdown while being chased.

The ADC and support, now worth 700 and 450 gold in bounties, headed top.

The jungler, having completely lost faith in top lane, just followed behind bottom—a bonus.

[Your team has destroyed the second turret!]

Lunami and Rexar, both good at chasing, wouldn’t be able to resist coming.

But I had just hit level 11. I could handle a level 9 jungle and ADC with a level 7 support.

“If you’re greedy for one more lane, you deserve to die!”

    Just dodge Rexar’s Q and I win.

Rexar knew this and held his skill until the end, but when I acted like I was running away, he wasted his skill trying to limit my movement.

Rexar couldn’t get close to me due to my superior range and possession rate variables, while Lucian waited to flank from behind.

    ‘Finally here.’

I couldn’t catch Lucian with his three mobility skills. I was only targeting Nami.

Lucian tried to trade damage with me, trusting Nami’s heal, but I properly used my passive to reduce the damage.

I was waiting for the moment when Rexar and Lucian would distance themselves from Nami, but when they obviously created that angle, I reconsidered.

‘If I go in with my ultimate, I’ll just die to burst damage.’

The key was isolating Lucian. I needed to target when Rexar and Nami were together.

I retreated to a narrow path with corners. Rexar, with more health, led the way.

I hit Rexar with auto attacks and my W ranged skill at the right moment. He stuck close to Nami to maintain distance, and as soon as Lucian noticed my skills were on cooldown, he dashed forward to punish me.

    ‘This is my chance.’

A three-way intersection with a thin wall, and the opponents had no vision beyond the wall.

“Why don’t you stop chasing me?”

I unleashed my ultimate beyond Lucian.

Rexar and Nami detected the danger and used all their skills, but hitting Asteria in her domain was like catching stars in the sky.

    [Enemy slain!]

    [Shutdown!]

    [Double Kill!]

Lucian tried to escape to our formation, but with our team’s arrival, we could collect his bounty too.

    * * *

“Good job everyone. Asteria is surprisingly good against Mirocell? Maybe I should practice her too.”

“How about practicing Kalista first? Your laning phase gave me cancer.”

“What can I do when facing that opponent? I did my best.”

“That doesn’t mean you skip your ultimate at level 6!”

    “Those top lane habits, haha.”

In the end, the battle between top carry and bottom carry ended with top carry’s victory.

While Luna-Nami was indeed powerful, it wasn’t a composition with only advantages, and our team properly exploited their weaknesses.

Sia told me viewers were disappointed they didn’t see a direct lane matchup with Paysauce, but our goal was victory and reaching Master rank.

“Good job everyone!” Sia cheerfully said.

After brief farewells with teammates who shared life and death, I checked the results.

[You have been promoted to Master rank.]

    [‘BamBaming’ donated 10,000 won!]

    -Congrats on Master, NoName!

    [‘SSPZLDJE’ donated 15,000 won!]

-I watched all 50 wins, so I’m the real winner

    [‘DaerongHerong’ donated 500,000 won!]

    -Looking forward to Challenger too!

Donations exceeding 500,000 won—our original mission goal—poured in.

Chat scrolled by incredibly fast, and I felt like I was losing my grip in the wave of text.

“Congratulations, Name. We really did something amazing, didn’t we?”

Riot might even consider abolishing duo queue again after seeing this.

Sia said that would be fine.

Then this record would remain an immortal part of history.

“Thank you all. I didn’t talk much during games, so it might have been boring, but thanks for watching.”

    [‘UmSanghwan’sLastLeaf’ donated 10,000 won!]

-With your skills, it would be entertaining even with just music over a montage

    -For real lol

-Every game was a highlight reel

-Just thinking about getting Bronze-Silver-Gold Asteria mains on my team makes me dizzy… right?

-Considering you won against some TK pros, you definitely have skill

    -???: Definitely has skill (Bronze-Silver-Gold 0.8 KDA)

    “Asteria is a good champion.”

    [‘ClipMaster’ donated 3,000 won!]

    -(Clip of Paysauce praising)

[Is this what Diamond is like these days? Tough laning phase from the start!]

[Our Mirocell!!! Please stop dying!!! How much more of a monster do you want to make the enemy top laner?!]

[We have to get that 1000 gold bounty on Asteria. Chase her, Rexar! No, if you rush in there…]

[Game’s over. Ugh, something’s off from the first game? Who is this person? NoName? I’ve heard that name a lot. This guy is really good.]

    -Wow, praised by Paysauce

-If Paysauce praises you, that’s official recognition lol

-TK was doing an official broadcast?

-Seems like he’s back to his broadcast schedule now that Stove League is ending

-For him to call someone “sir,” he must really respect them

    [‘Miroking’ donated 20,000 won!]

-What is this top Asteria? This is the first time I’ve felt such a wall

“Ah, thank you Miroking for the 20,000 won donation! Actually, Name said we’d lose if I played top Kalista, so we swapped.”

    -That laning phase was so frustrating;;

-After failing the level 2 gank and skilling wrong, there was no chance without jungle help

-It’s been a long time since I got cursed out by a teammate after reaching Challenger

-Our Rexar really doesn’t hold back

Miroking shared that his teammate Rexar cursed at him, risking chat violation penalties.

Sia laughed for a long time before finally calming down enough to handle the flood of donations.

“Okay, I’m closing donations now. If you want to donate more, please save it for tomorrow’s stream.”

-Look at that greed, wanting to keep tomorrow’s donations for herself instead of splitting lol

-How much did you make in a week? Even Delete’s room chairman came by

-At least 400K minimum by my count

-Make sure NoName gets paid properly

“When have I ever scammed anyone? You’re slandering me!”

“I trust Sia. You wouldn’t do that, right?”

    “Name, even you…”

“Just kidding. But I really won’t forgive you if you do.”

Sia started her closing comments and announced to viewers that she was ending the shared broadcast.

While I couldn’t match her shameless way of asking for donations, I showed my appreciation in my own way as we wrapped up the stream without any issues.

[Switching to NoName’s personal broadcast: 0:00:01]

    [Viewers: 581]

What started as a stream to earn potion money, and then to raise funds for Manase fees, had grown into something where people expected more from me.

“Why are you here instead of going to Hyebam’s stream?”

    -???

-If you ask like that, we don’t know how to answer…

    -Aren’t you doing additional content?

-You should strike while the iron is hot

-True, your Asteria VTube montage already has 300K views

-I came here after watching that

    ‘Additional content?’

    “I don’t have anything planned.”

    [‘DonkeyWhoGrinds10000Times’ donated 10,000 won!]

-Could you share some Asteria tips or combos? She’s so difficult ㅜㅜ

-A tutorial video would be nice

-Tips from an Asteria master with 50 consecutive wins would be too sweet even for diabetics

    -You should control yourself lol

-You use different runes each time, is there a criteria for choosing between Conqueror, Lethal Tempo, and Press the Attack?

    “Hmm…”

The current time was just before 6:15 PM. It was an awkward time to end.

Starting and ending on the hour always feels cleaner.

But I didn’t feel like creating a custom training room just for a tutorial.

Fifteen minutes was just enough time to read a bedtime story to children.

I searched for “Asteria” on TriWiki.

-Oh, is he writing a guide on TriWiki?

    -So excited

    -Can’t wait

-? Did this person click the wrong category?

    [Asteria/Voice Lines]

“Then I’ll just read through Asteria’s voice lines until 6:00 and end the stream.”

Asteria, the last survivor of the Selena race. Her life story was depressingly miserable and tragic.

Reciting her lines might help understand Asteria better.

“The plains of Selena are no more.”

“Stars are nobly beautiful. It’s always humans who give them meaning.”

“I’ll make you regret being alive.”

“They always stab you in the back, those cowards.”

    “Melt away.”

    “Burn.”

    “This is Selena’s revenge.”

    “Asel”

    “Riba”

    “Sai”

    “La Asteria salva erum”

    “La Asteria shalein xetan”

    “La Asteria shuhata filum.”

“Even in death… I wish to shine.”
