Ch.226Duel (3)

Beyond the splashing sounds, Melody quietly rested her head on Llewellyn’s shoulder.
Though there wasn’t much weight due to their size difference, Llewellyn couldn’t remain indifferent.
It hadn’t been that long ago. When Melody had called Llewellyn to help wash her body, and the atmosphere had grown heated.
Now was similar. The difference was that Llewellyn had some intention of going along with it, and Melody knew this.
But before that, Llewellyn wanted to talk. He didn’t need to bare his soul completely, but he wanted her to know everything she should before making a decision.
Llewellyn wasn’t a monster without conscience. Feeling Melody’s hair against his shoulder, her warm body temperature making it emit a pleasant scent, he spoke.
“Actually, I came because I have something to tell you.”
“Oh really?”
Melody, who had been quietly humming, replied. Her outstretched legs emerged from the water again, and as they slowly lowered, gentle ripples spread across the surface.
Through the water, Llewellyn could see Melody’s body.
A body completely different from Lucilla’s or Isla’s, whom he had embraced before.
A body that stimulated his desires in a different way. But now wasn’t the time.
Llewellyn sighed, trying to calm himself.
“May I guess?”
Melody spoke first.
Llewellyn didn’t look at Melody, and Melody, being blind, had no need to look at him.
She simply smiled faintly, feeling his heartbeat.
Thinking about it, it wasn’t strange that she had noticed.
Llewellyn knew how obvious his sister had been. Even someone as oblivious as Llewellyn could clearly see it.
So how could Melody not know? Llewellyn thought that was impossible.
“Then I might find it difficult to sit here, so no.”
Melody made a soft humming sound. She rubbed her outstretched legs again, her fair skin glistening with water.
“But now that I hear it, I am curious what you think.”
“I think it’s wrong.”
Her shoulders twitched, but Melody continued as if nothing had happened.
“She’s not even a step-sister, but a blood sister. Having romantic feelings for your sister and acting on them beyond family affection is terribly wrong, I think.”
“…Why?”
“Well, saying ‘because society defines it that way’ is too old-fashioned… I just personally find it uncomfortable.”
Though she said it was “uncomfortable,” it wouldn’t have been strange if she had called it disgusting. That was how most normal people viewed incest.
Unless you had a cool personality that could just accept it like Isla, or had a completely different sense of common sense like Lorian.
It was indeed difficult to accept. That’s why Llewellyn couldn’t argue with Melody’s words and just hunched his shoulders.
“Still, I thought your sister was a good person despite her aggressive and dogmatic sides. Someone who is kind, or at least tries to be kind. But… to lust after her own brother.”
Melody’s words were sharp. It was clear this wasn’t simply about the difficulty of accepting incest.
She was expressing her antipathy toward Lucilla, who knew of her love yet tried to take him away.
Being a personal aversion, it stood out. Llewellyn listened awkwardly, and Melody, with him beside her, sighed.
“Of course, I understand. If it could be controlled, it wouldn’t be love. It’s rare for love to be determined by reason. I wonder if that’s even possible at all.”
“Well—”
“Your sister needs to exercise some restraint. I understand her feelings, but for a normal sibling relationship, she needs to make an effort.”
“That’s—”
Llewellyn had nothing to say.
A normal sibling relationship. Nice words, but there was no going back now.
Llewellyn had already slept with his sister, shared love with her, and confirmed his own feelings.
His sister would not let him go.
If he suggested separating for the sake of a normal sibling relationship, in the worst case, the death of a star might erupt from the pantheon like a nuclear weapon that had rarely bloomed in human history.
But even beyond that, Llewellyn didn’t want to let go of Lucilla. Though it was a unique position—being both sister and lover—Llewellyn wanted his sister to remain in that place.
He envisioned a happy future with his sister. Though immoral, he sincerely felt that way.
So hearing Melody disparage it made him uncomfortable.
Yet at the same time, he had no response.
Melody misunderstood Llewellyn’s silence.
“I know. I know. Llewellyn has Isla. I’m well aware that you two are already in that kind of relationship.”
Llewellyn thought of Melody’s transparent ring. That ring, probably given by his sister, had ridiculously granted Melody a mild form of voyeurism.
The desire to see the man she liked sleeping and waking up was cute in its own way, but.
Llewellyn was troubled.
“But you haven’t had a child yet, or gotten married, right? In my experience, a good man should date a lot. So if you break up with Isla later, there might be a place for me.”
Saying this, Melody gave a seductive smile. She placed her outstretched hand on Llewellyn’s chest.
“Or, would you consider two-timing? From what I’ve seen, even the gods’ literature is quite promiscuous.”
“Well—”
“I’m joking, don’t take it so seriously. Laugh.”
“Haha…”
Melody seemed cheerful. Teasing Llewellyn, and though she couldn’t see, creating a precarious atmosphere by pressing her naked body against his.
It felt genuinely skillful, and she enjoyed seeing Llewellyn flustered and embarrassed. Judging by his pounding heart.
So Melody wriggled her body and climbed onto Llewellyn’s lap. Though their bodies touched, she tried not to be too conscious of it as she clung to him.
“Maybe it’s not a joke after all.”
For a moment, she thought she’d prefer her first experience to be in a more intimate and nicer place, but she realized she wasn’t in a position to be picky.
If things continued as they were, her position would gradually diminish. Since that wasn’t what Melody wanted, she felt she needed to take initiative now.
‘I don’t know why Isla and sister aren’t intervening, but this is my chance.’
She would push forward now and create a fait accompli. Being the youngest of Llewellyn’s women, Melody was confident in that aspect.
It could be called the grand operation to capture sperm with a healthy egg. Melody faced Llewellyn with an expression of burning desire… well, not with her eyes, but with her expression.
“Melody…”
“Since I’m inexperienced, I’d like you to lead gently.”
“Melody.”
“Honestly, I’d prefer a more tender situation, but…”
“Melody, listen.”
“What?”
“Didn’t I say I had something to tell you?”
Though it might have sounded accusatory, the slight panic and urgency in his voice prevented it from coming across that way.
Melody tilted her head curiously, and Llewellyn looked at her small face while contemplating.
After taking a deep breath, thinking, and wondering how to broach the subject.
“Well, I haven’t finished talking about my sister.”
“…Why bring up your sister suddenly?”
Her voice grew cold. Normally one might be intimidated and find it difficult to speak, but Llewellyn knew that hesitating would only make things harder.
He had to say it now. He swallowed his concerns into his stomach and exhaled a long sigh.
“You must know that my sister has feelings for me.”
“Yes.”
“And those feelings go beyond family affection…”
“They’re romantic feelings, right?”
Melody’s tone was already unfavorable. But that was actually fortunate.
It seemed better than the distinctive drop from a good mood to a bad one.
Llewellyn wanted to minimize variables. He thought it better to have a definite low pressure now, even if it was negative, than to have unpredictability.
“And if I were to say that I recently accepted those feelings from my sister… what would you think?”
Melody’s expression wasn’t good. It wasn’t quite “code red” yet, but it was at least yellow.
“That’s disgusting.”
“…Is that all?”
“Yes.”
But contrary to her words, her arms around his neck didn’t fall away, nor did she dismount from her position. Llewellyn could understand Melody’s misunderstanding.
She probably thought he had reluctantly accepted his sister’s confession and maybe kissed her at most. Llewellyn broke into a cold sweat, though it wasn’t noticeable on his already wet body from the bath.
Being blind, Melody couldn’t read Llewellyn’s expression. Unable to read his “should I say this or not?” face, she tilted her head at the silent Llewellyn.
For a moment, a “surely not” thought was about to cross her mind.
“It’s really hard to say this…”
Melody’s arms tensed, and Llewellyn, feeling that slight change, hesitated for a moment before speaking.
“My sister and I… well.”
“You’re lying, right?”
He couldn’t even finish his sentence, and Melody let out a disbelieving laugh.
“This is a joke, right?”
“…No.”
“Since when?”
Llewellyn had no choice but to tell the truth, and Melody laughed again after hearing it.
It wasn’t from the first time she had seduced him. But it happened not long after that.
Around the time Melody had judged her seduction to be quite bold, thinking she was close to making him pounce on her.
So Melody’s feeling was like this:
“So you were just playing with me?”
“No, that’s not it…”
“What do you mean that’s not it? While watching me do all that, you were thinking about another woman, weren’t you?”
He couldn’t deny it. He had been doing that to maintain his composure.
Melody read affirmation in his silence and frowned.
Even that looked cute, but such cuteness wasn’t enough to offset the surrounding hostility and confusion of the situation.
She was furious.
“You’re sleeping with your sister, but you can’t do it with me?”
The direction of her anger was strange. Llewellyn was speechless, letting out a confused “Huh?” sound, and Melody removed her arms from around his neck and grabbed both his cheeks.
“You’ve gone all the way with your sister, done everything, and are about to make a baby, but you just left me hanging without even touching me?”
“No, no. I was respecting your will—”
“My will!”
Her shouted words, imbued with magic, disturbed the water. Llewellyn felt a rare sense of fear as he watched Melody’s floating hair.
“I’m doing this because I want to! Why would I ask you to wash my body if I didn’t want it?”
Her pronunciation became slurred as she gritted her teeth at the end. Llewellyn unconsciously swallowed, and Melody brought her face close to his and said:
“What happens from now on.”
As her magic calmed and her hair settled, Llewellyn couldn’t move due to the pressure enveloping his body.
“It’s all your fault, Llewellyn.”
He quietly closed his eyes, feeling their lips overlap.
He knew.
Today, for the first time in his life, he was going to be raped.
Surprisingly, it didn’t feel that bad.
