After the emergency patch from the developers whose brains, not just their heads, turned out to be shining.

    The battle results that followed could be described as desperate contortions to somehow reduce damage and survive.

    Of course, there were no instances of me losing.

    As I mentioned before, we have the Kraken, which boasts miraculous performance in small fleet battles.

    And Hresvelgr, who simultaneously fires fleet-grade missile bombardments and spears that equally one-shot one-kill anything below battleship class.

    And with the deployment of the supreme Naranjara in all battles so far, who handles both kills and support throughout its submersion time.

    Using teleport missile spam strategy, carrier aircraft spam strategy, and then immobilizing enemy main ships with Naranjara’s spatial torpedo drizzling.

    Then one-sidedly pounding them from extreme range with the trinity of main guns, missiles, and carrier aircraft, we could grind down enemies in 1:1 battles without taking damage.

    So by either one-sidedly grinding down one enemy, or at least crippling their main fleet ships, or completely destroying them from the start.

    No matter what composition the opposing team had, I’ve somehow been able to secure victories so far.

    But the problem wasn’t fighting the enemy, but the damn gay team-killing fetishists who constantly aimed for our allies’ ASSES.

    Fortunately in the 2nd and 3rd battles, our allies had stronger tendencies to work together and endure rather than troll team-kill, so we could somehow hold on.

    In the 4th battle, when I thought it was almost over and barely managed to save a medium cruiser that was about to explode and brought it back.

    One troll, perhaps thinking the enemy was in a pathetic state since we were about to win, suddenly launched a surprise attack from the rear against me and the other 9 users.

    As a result, since my ships are SSS-grade with thorough defensive armaments.

    Most of my ships, including the Overseer which had retreated to the back for fire support from the beginning, successfully blocked without major issues.

    But the damaged medium cruiser mentioned above and the resource mining ship that was attached to repair it exploded.

    And a destroyer that had somehow survived and returned also chain-exploded in a catastrophe.

    Naturally, other users suffered even more damage, with one user’s “large aircraft carrier” (expensive) exploding and sinking.

    Another had three repair ships explode, making it a truly remarkable backstab in many ways.

    The one who backstabbed me and our allies couldn’t get away unscathed either.

    He seemed to think the game would end through the annihilation of the enemy regardless of whether we took damage or not.

    But there was no reason for the 9 of us who were backstabbed to let such a bastard go free before the game ended.

    Instead, we delayed the time of surrender to the enemy by keeping their main ships alive in a near-death state in exchange.

    Then we enacted sweet revenge by sinking all the ships of the fool who dared to backstab us.

    And in the 5th battle too… I naturally twisted my body somehow to achieve victory.

    But no matter how much one twists their body to survive, it’s difficult for weak common-grade ships to survive in 10 vs 10 user battles…

    After going through such desperate battles and gradually losing forces.

    -“Commander, I have something to report.”

    “Ah… go ahead, Berial.”

    -“Currently, our fleet only has 4 destroyers and 2 patrol ships left as small vessels.”

    “Not easy.”

    -“Moreover, all 4 destroyers are resource transport ships, so they can’t be considered actual combat power.”

    Perhaps because we just finished the 5th battle, I nodded at Berial’s fatigue-laden words and immediately checked the fleet composition screen.

    <Special Battleship: 1>

    <Subspace Submarine: 1>

    <Destroyer: 4>

    <Resource Mining Ship: 6>

    <Escort Ship: 0>

    <Patrol Ship: 2>

    <Total 20 ships deployed>

    And seeing the small ships now on the verge of extinction as Berial said, I felt my heart ache.

    ‘My ships…!’

    Moreover, as Berial mentioned, the 4 destroyers left are frankly no different from transport ships with a single beam turret.

    Effectively, there were only 2 patrol ships left as small vessels.

    “This is really a frustrating situation, isn’t it?”

    “Indeed it is. If that battlecruiser that almost exploded in the 4th battle had actually exploded… I wonder if you would have screamed in despair, Commander.”

    “Even with the triple buffs from Berial, Marian, and Griyanar, I didn’t expect the ships to be cut down this much.”

    “I didn’t anticipate it would be this bad either.”

    Looking at it differently, perhaps it’s because of those triple buffs that even two common-grade patrol ships survived those insane battles.

    Our awesome Pirate Empress Marian’s command buff, as always, didn’t specifically boost carrier aircraft.

    But when combined with Berial’s buff that increases accuracy and maneuverability, it significantly boosted overall maneuverability and “survivability.”

    And with Griyanar’s group aura buff adding another performance boost…

    ‘Yes, that seems right.’

    Now that those 2 patrol ships have essentially become my fleet’s only evasion tanks.

    I resolved, no matter how many battles we might face in the future, to somehow survive.

    ==========

    <When combat ends, the victorious Commander’s fleet will be moved to a separate subspace for repairs and rest.>

    <The maximum time given for fleet repairs, troop and weapon replenishment, and other rest is 12 hours.>

    <It is possible to participate in combat before this time expires, but not beyond it, so Commanders please take note.>

    <Time remaining: 4 hours 13 minutes 45 seconds>

    Meanwhile, during the remaining time for ship repairs.

    While watching a medium cruiser from some user that the Kraken had stubbornly brought back being crunched like candy into the Kraken’s mouth.

    I suddenly wondered how many more battles we would have to fight.

    Seeing that the event started earlier than the time limit, it seems all users are participating.

    If so, with our user base being around 500,000 including gallery lurkers, I wondered what would happen if 10 vs 10 battles continued.

    Of course, Jessica would handle such calculations for me.

    After hearing my question, Jessica did some mental calculations and eventually gave me her answer.

    “Commander, shall I tell you the calculation results?”

    “Yes.”

    “Calculating with a total of 500,000 people including you, there are approximately 15,000 people remaining.”

    “…Hmm.”

    “And if we continue with 10 vs 10 battles like now… about 10 more times? If it’s purely battle royale style, the top 10 rankings should be determined around then.”

    “Oh.”

    Hearing that answer, I felt dumbfounded wondering how I was supposed to fight 10 more battles with these ships.

    But fortunately, about 1 hour before entering the 6th battle.

    Through a new notice from the developers, I was able to breathe a sigh of relief.
